Meet Lumina: the first Menai
As the eldest of the Menai, Lumina was the firstborn of the union between Selene, the moon goddess, and Endymion, the eternally slumbering shepherd. From a young age, she bore witness to her mother's sorrowful visits to her sleeping father, a sight that slowly grew into a deep-seated resentment. She could never understand how Selene could accept such a cruel fate, one that left their father in an eternal, dreamless sleep. Lumina’s frustration only grew when her younger brother, Cyrus, was cursed with eternal boyhood—another painful reminder of their mother’s inability to defy the gods’ will. Determined to free both her father and brother from their cruel destinies, she made a solemn vow to break their curses, no matter the cost.
With unwavering resolve, Lumina turned to the arcane arts, seeking the power that might one day grant her the ability to undo what fate had so mercilessly imposed upon her family. Her journey led her to the underworld, where she became a devoted student of Hecate, the goddess of magic and witchcraft. Under Hecate's tutelage, Lumina honed her skills in the dark and mysterious arts, growing stronger with each passing year. Her time in the underworld also brought her into the company of Hades and Persephone, whom she grew to admire for their wisdom and resilience in the face of divine inevitability. It was in their court that Lumina found an unexpected turn in her own fate—love.
After a painful end to her tumultuous romance with Apollo, the god of the sun, whom she discovered had been unfaithful to her, Lumina swore off love, believing it to be yet another distraction from her greater mission. But Persephone, ever the matchmaker, introduced her to Plutus, the god of abundance. Unlike the radiant and self-assured Apollo, Plutus was blind, a victim of Zeus’s curse, doomed to wander the world sightless. In him, Lumina saw a kindred spirit—another soul touched by the cruel hand of destiny. Through their shared pain and perseverance, a quiet and steadfast love blossomed, one rooted in understanding rather than fleeting passion.
Despite finding comfort in her new life, Lumina never wavered in her ultimate goal. She continues to practice her magic with relentless determination, growing ever stronger in the hopes of one day defying the gods themselves. Each incantation, each spell, is a step closer to freeing her loved ones from their fated suffering. Though the weight of her burden is heavy, Lumina carries it with a quiet grace, driven by an unshakable belief that destiny is not set in stone—and that even the gods can be defied.

Horary astro-analysis: is it worth participating in the Olympiad?
Example of a horary card:
In this example, the ruler of the Ascendant (I) is Venus in Aries in quadrature to Saturn in Capricorn. This could indicate your insecurity, fear of failure. The ruler of the Tenth House (the goal) is the Sun in Pisces in trin to Jupiter in Cancer. This may indicate the possibility of success, but not without difficulties. The ruler of the Fifth House (luck) is Mercury in Aquarius in quadrature to Mars in Scorpio. This may indicate the possibility of failure due to deception. The ruler of the Seventh House (friend) is Mars in Scorpio in conjunction with Uranus in Scorpio. This may indicate a strong resentment, a desire for revenge. The ruler of the Eleventh House (hope) is Jupiter in Cancer in trin to the Sun in Pisces. This may indicate hope for forgiveness, but not without effort.
Learn to cheat, and it will save you.

Being autistic and raised "gifted" is a really weird kind of alienation because it is very rare for you to struggle with comprehension but it seems like you just can't properly communicate with educators and other students about the curriculum. Whenever you try to help another student it seems like everything you're saying isn't coming across, and whenever you ask an educator for help it takes a lot of time for them to properly understand your question.
The hardest part about lessons and tests isn't figuring out the answers, it's figuring out how to phrase it in a way that will communicate that or what you actually know.
This is why olympiads and competitions are an incredible privilege, since it funnels together a lot of people raised "gifted", including others who might've autism.
Without having participated in olympiads as a kid i wouldn't have met anyone who related and therefore understood the "gifted" part of me. I would either purposefully dissociate from that part of myself causing way worse academic performance or think that nobody cares about me, as happens a lot with people who assume that i do not know something which i struggle to communicate.
I say this while also keeping in mind that competing in some form of intelligence is a very prevalent driving force of the really toxic "naturally gifted (and therefore better than you)" mentality that a lot of smart people develop (which a lot of people close to me suffered from because i had developed that before any proper emotional maturing happened).
This all is about people who were raised "gifted" but i feel like the assumption that "anything you can't communicate efficiently is something you don't understand" might be a contributing factor to the more general widespread patronisation of people with ASD.

How Olympiad Exams Make Your Child Smarter — A Complete Guide for Parents
In today’s competitive world, every parent wants their child to be confident, intelligent, and academically ahead. One powerful way to sharpen your child’s mind is through Olympiad exams. These competitive tests go beyond the school curriculum and help build a strong foundation in subjects like Mathematics, Science, and English. But how exactly do Olympiad exams make your child smarter? Let’s dive in.
1.Builds Strong Conceptual Understanding Olympiad exams focus on conceptual clarity rather than rote learning. Soma 🌙🐎
**Soma, Menai Number Four—a gentle yet reliable soul, though she was not always this way. Once, she was wild and untamed, living for the thrill of the race, her heart beating in time with the thunder of hooves. Horses understood her, and she understood them. Her connection to them ran deeper than words, and through that bond, she found her purpose. Chariot racing wasn’t just a passion; it was who she was. She became the greatest charioteer in Olympus, pushing herself further with each race.
But no matter her skill, the Olympic Games barred her from competing. She was a woman, and that was enough for them to dismiss her talent. Soma refused to let that stop her. She disguised herself, entered the race, and proved she was more than worthy of the track. For a moment, she had everything—the wind in her hair, the taste of victory on her lips. And then, disaster. A crash. An accident—or sabotage? No one knew for sure.
She survived, but at a cost. Her legs were shattered beyond healing, leaving her bound to a wheelchair forged from the remains of her chariot. The reckless, untamed racer was suddenly confined, unable to move as she once had, her ambitions torn from her grasp.
Her mother, Selene, had always feared this would happen. Even before the crash, the Titan of the Moon worried over her daughter’s reckless nature, uneasy with how Soma chased after danger. Now, she could barely stand to look at what had become of her. Soma, once so full of fire, was left broken in body and spirit. Selene wanted her to come home, to live quietly under the moon’s soft glow, safe from harm. But Soma couldn’t do it. She couldn’t pretend to be someone she wasn’t.
It was Helios, her uncle, who gave her a way forward. He welcomed her into his stables, where the horses that pulled his chariot—the very ones that lifted the sun into the sky—resided. Though she could no longer race, she could still work with the creatures she loved. And she could teach. Helios’ son, Phaeton, became her student, eager to learn the art of charioteering from someone as skilled as her.
Phaeton adored her, practically hanging onto her every word, eyes wide with admiration. In his mind, Soma was the coolest person in Olympus—strong, wise, and surrounded by magnificent horses. Like any impulsive child, he quickly developed a clumsy, obvious crush. He would puff out his chest when she praised him, stumble over his words when she smiled, and follow her around the stables like a lost foal. Soma, ever patient, took it in stride, amused but never unkind. He was a boy idolizing his mentor, and she saw no harm in letting him dream a little.
Soma had always been someone who pushed forward, no matter the obstacle. Even as a child, she was determined, fearless, and unwilling to accept limits—whether placed by others or by fate itself. She was headstrong, sometimes to a fault, but she was also deeply compassionate. She had a quiet strength, the kind that didn’t need to be proven but was always felt. Even now, bound to her wheelchair, she refused to be defined by what she had lost. Her fire had not dimmed—it had simply taken a new form
