was looking at these livestock farms which advertised free range animal meat, extolling the value of "simulating the grazing patterns of their wild ancestors of the past, thereby restoring the natural ecosystem around them"... like, hoofed mammals were never part of this ecosystem. say what you will about the animal's welfare and the quality of the meat it produces. but you're not "restoring" anything. you already colonised this country beyond recognition to the point where it's visible from space, you are further shaping the ecosystem into a form that is economically productive for european farming practices

Created at least 5100 years ago, this detailed necklace is attributed to the Susa II period of ancient Susa, Iran. It is made of limestone with black schist components and features ten rows of small sculpted beads, along with three larger pendants and a series of amulets or charms. It measures 62 x 21.5 cm (24.41 x 8.46 in).
This artifact is now housed at The Louvre Museum in Paris, France. It was acquired via partage after excavations led by Roland de Mecquenem between 1929 and 1933.
