I am unemployable at any job that does a background check because I have a felony arrest for marijunana with intent to distribute. The charges against me were dropped and I am convicted of no crime, but the arrest still shows and is making getting a job I am way overqualified for impossible. I am currently working a minimum wage job even though I am qualified to earn much more as a CCNP with my B.S.
I've had 30+ interviews this year so far and several followup interviews in which I disclosed my social security number for a background check, and I was assured I had the job as I was over qualified. When the background checks came in I get no further calls and can't get them to return my calls.
WTF, I went and talked to my attorney and the DA and they say there is nothing that can be done to remove an arrest from my record.
