Sentencing the case of raising equipment prices at Bach Mai Hospital and forcing compensation for more than 600 victims

For the above reasons, the Trial Panel sentenced the defendants: Nguyen Quoc Anh, former director of Bach Mai Hospital to 5 years in prison; Nguyen Ngoc Hien, former Deputy Director of Bach Mai Hospital 3 years and 6 months in prison; Trinh Thi Thuan, former Chief Accountant - Bach Mai Hospital 3 years in prison, suspended sentence; Ly Thi Ngoc Thuy, Deputy Head of Finance and Accounting Department - Bach Mai Hospital 2 years in prison, suspended sentence; Pham Duc Tuan, former Chairman of BMS 3 years in prison, suspended sentence; Ngo Thi Thu Huyen, former Deputy Director of BMS 2 years and 6 months in prison, suspended sentence; Tran Le Hoang, former VFS appraiser 2 years in prison; Phan Minh Dung, former General Director of VFS, 20 months in prison.

Cơ quan điều tra các cấp đã phát hiện hơn 57.460 vụ vi phạm trật tự xã hội với 89.440 người trong năm 2015, theo báo cáo của Chính phủ trình bày tại phiên làm việc của Quốc hội khóa 13, kỳ họp thứ 10 vào cuối năm ngoái. 

 Mặc dù các con số thể hiện so với cùng kỳ năm trước giảm 5,63% về số vụ và 9,13% về số người vi phạm pháp luật, nhưng các vụ giết người dã man có động cơ xã hội vẫn xảy ra, gây nhức nhối cho công an.
