Betrayal
Ssra enters his uncles’ compound, carrying a person. It’s in the quiet part of the day, and no one but the cleaning staff and a few officers are there. Good. It would mitigate any damage he was about to inflict. He hated he had to, given everything his uncles were going through, but the Republic needed to pay for this crime. This was a long time in coming. Since he’s been discovered, Ssra has…

Emmoridg Last Lesson
It was a week after the divorce. Ratsoi remembers smoking a spice stick that day and rummaging through his belongings to ensure everything was there. To make sure his ex did not steal anything upon his departure a month ago. Normally Caedusios would have waited longer, but considering enough of his account was drained for his ex-husband to cover medical expenses, Caed knew his “spouse” took what…

Darth Caedusios Awakens
Something is wrong. That is what Darth Caedusios woke up to in the early morning on Kaas City. He could feel it at the heart of his being. It was a swirl of conflicting emotions: Love, anger, desire to run, feeling that a million bricks were put on very small shoulders, and cracks forming in whatever means the small shoulders used to cope with it all. They are swirling around Caedusios’ head and…

Post-Umbara Report
4 heists in less than 24 hours. That's how fast things move on Umbara. With each shipment of Adegan crystals, there is always a chance of something or someone interfering. The Umbarans are used to it, they say. They expected the Alliance to attack a shipment headed for the Republic eventually, they told. It's why everything is heavily guarded Crim overheard the rookies talking amongst themselves about.
This infiltration required he say nothing until the job was done. He was able to slip into several planned heists over the course of the past week. The plan was simple: derail the trains, and the waiting accomplices steal the crystals from the wreckage. By the time any authorities bother to get the stolen shipment, the thieves are long gone; Cipher 8 is long gone.
However, Crim had no interest in adegan crystals. His prize was information. Umbara is richer in it than crystals, it seems. He retrieved much information from train logs, information from injured trips, and the mercenaries themselves. In between the heists, he was able to acquire his own Umbaran train for the price of 2.205million credits gone. It was worth every one. He needed a mobile base during his infiltration mission here. It did its job well.
Now it is time to report on the raids, and the information he's gathered. To that end, Crim closes his eyes and the computers shut off on the train. He opens them to begin his report to Kardeva, the Supreme Commander of the Eternal Alliance and his husband, which is valdyto in Sith. "The Adegan crystals are like isotope-5, akise. With them someone can make bigger and better toys. The Republic, Alliance, and Empire are in an arms race."
Kardeva crosses his arms, and strokes his chin as Crim spoke. Eventually his eyes narrow, and he kicks the side of one of the consoles. "I see..."
He sighs. "We have to build superweapons just to keep the peace?"
"I don't get it," Crim says with as heavy sigh, "Why is someone hell bent on war starting again?"
"That's easy," Kardeva answers with a huff, "Money. War is good business for arms, ordinance... even with a 'superweapon' you still need all those other bits and pieces."
"But war isn't good for my sanity, or blood pressure. Can't people pause and think of the humble tsis here?"
"One does: Me."
Crim grins at this and squeezes Kardeva's shoulder. "Thank the force it's you."
Kardeva motions his hands for Crim to continue: "This 'business' is doing horribly as the arms race goes beyond the main factions: These trains are hijacked, blown up, stolen... It's a kriffen battle zone here!"
"Ohhh I can just imagine... one side tries to keep the other from getting their shipment."
"Unfortunate for them, it makes my job easier. I was able to infiltrate 4 raids so far and gather intel among the wreckage. Some of these raids appear to be random pirates looking for a quick buck, *but* within the raids I hear whispers of something or someone watching for btheir success or failure."
"The Order, Republic, or Empire?" Kardeva is tempted to cross his fingers behind his back and hope for anyone but...
"The frequencies from some of their transmissions before the raids, akise, match the frequencies of whoever hacked Theron's implants."
Kardeva sighs. "The Order then."
"An Order that is cunning: The Republic has helped in raiding the Alliance and Imperial shipments. Cross checking my info from the recent missions, and Lana's research, someone always gives away a portion of the stolen goods to an unknown account. Same with some of the shipments that make it to the Empire, and shipments that come to us."
"Thievery? Bad form?! What you're saying is our hands are tied. This order will scavenge from both sides, and us, and there's nothing we can do about it!"
Kardeva storms out to the open and lets out a Force scream towards the passing the Umbaran landscape. He then breathes icy breaths. "Must... not... lose... control..."
Normally, any other Imperial officer would let the Sith have his anger. They would wait for him to come back. Crim, though? He follows Kardeva and squeezes his shoulder from behind. There is nothing for him to fear here, save someone trying to capture the train. "We will get through this, akise," Crim answers Kardeva's questions calmly, "One way or another."
"Once I find out who this Order is," Kardeva turns, as he speaks in a very quiet voice, so he can look at Crim directly, "I will take as many heads as I can!"
"I'll back you when that moment comes. Even if Agent Shan is among the dead."
"Yes. He made his choice for whatever reason...I once believed in him, but my tolerance is growing short..."
Crim chuckles, guiding them both back inside. "Tolerance... time... all growing short. Thankfully I can work with time and tolerance I don't have. I will make certain intelligence does not fail."
"Good. Then you'll need this," Kardeva pulls out a small chip from his pocket.
Crim raises an eyeridge, taking it and examining with pale eyes that see everything. Kardeva explains, "This is the highest security level I can give you. It basically makes you a Darth. You will have access to *anything* that comes across the airwaves."
Crim widens his eyes and steps back. Kardeva continues, "Your pseudo name is Darth s
Crim's eyes are still wide. "A-akise?"
Kardeva smiles and steps closer. "You need information, Crim. This will help you. Just beware what you find out. It may be more than you bargained for."
Crim breathes in deeply, and lets out a deeper breath. He then chuckles. "Consider me aware: More than I bargained is part of the job. It's a worthy sacrifice. I won't lose you to The Order, akise. I won't! I... Thank you for this gift. I'll use it to the full."
Kardeva nods, "I am the Alliance Commander. I won't let my group, something we have fought and died for, go down without a fight!"
Crimsèn grins and nods. "Then we best prepare to get more than what we bargained for."
Kardeva chuckled, nodding. Crim heads into the driver's end and starts pressing buttons. "I'm taking us to my ship, and then we can head home. Anything more we need to say can be said there."

Ssra Conversation
Me: Son, Theron Shan is in. Ssra: Yes, I’ve heard. My initiation will be soon as well. Me: Will Kardeva and I have to watch out for you? Ssra: No. You have seen enough of that. I’ll find another way to prove my loyalty. Me: Good. In the meantime, I must ask a favour. Ssra: What is it, jaarvek? Me: Kardeva wants to go on missions for the Empire. I’d go but I’m exhausted. Could you go in my place?

Sultry Sarlaac
The people, the music, the passion, and the alcohol push me onto the dance floor. I can feel their bodies brush against me, and their breaths move to the beat. A beat that sends my heart on a rush, and my eyes alert. So many mouthes moving with words unsaid; secrets betrayed in the security of the beating music. A world so volatile, and yet indispensable to those who know how to use it.…
