Man, I gotta be honest, I haven't had much creative energy to do much of anything I used to love anymore.

My country is basically human trafficking anyone who isn't a white male and nuclear war could happen any day now.

My insurance company denied anesthesia at the very last minute for one of the most painful procedures an afab person can go through. The procedure was last Thursday and I'll be recovering over the course of the next few weeks without any prescribed pain management.

Social media has been a cesspool of horrors no matter what app I open.

Apologies for the exhausting post. It's been so hard, and I'm sure those of y'all also in the US are feeling the same way. If you've read this far, thank you for your time. We're in this together, one day at a time.

so many chronically ill people only get diagnosed when someone other than their doctors say, "hey, have you heard of postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome? it is really common, treatable, but it only shows up on specific tests."

or "hey, I know you have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, have you had autonomic testing or testing for non length dependent small fiber neuropathy? 30-40% of people with fibromyalgia have small fiber neuropathy, and a lot of that is the non length dependent pattern, which not a lot of doctors know about."

or "hey, you know how you have weird allergy issues? have you ever heard of mast cell activation syndrome? around 17% of people have mast cell issues, and they can cause debilitating symptoms all over the body until treated."

there are so many debilitating chronic illnesses that are EXTREMELY treatable, but only show up on specific tests. a lot of people with these conditions test as 'healthy' otherwise. and so fucking many of these kinds of conditions are presented at dysautonomia international in presentations that are easy to understand.

these medical conditions are everywhere, and have been around forever. and covid-19 has multiplied how many people have these, around the world.

everyone has an autonomic nervous system, and it breaks very easily. dysautonomia can happen alongside countless other medical conditions. every chronically ill person needs to be asking themselves if they might have some form of autonomic dysfunction. because chances are pretty good that they do.

Worth Fighting For

So...

A lot of shit has come out recently within the TTTE community and honestly it is sad to see what has happened with what's has come out recently, it is such a shame at what it is shaping to be. But Yet, through all this troubling times; I still find hope, strength and happiness within it because of amazing people within the Community itself.

If I could make a list of all those who I inspire to be I would be here forever. To those who know, you know who you are and I thank you, some of you have actually brought me out of my comfort zone and it has been the better for me. Some of you have giving my inspiration that I once thought I could never achieve. I wish I could give back too you what you did for me, but all I can give is my drawings and support, I hope that is enough.

I see this community as a reawakening for me as well as something to actually get involved in and share my recent passion and thoughts with the Thomas The Tank Engine community and with real life steam engines.

So I want to give some light at the end of the tunnel here and say though we are going thru a tough time with what's been happening. I will continue to draw and share what I love with everyone and not let negative news or energy take over and spoil the hard work we as a community out so much effort into.

(I will say to those who are PROVEN to be Predators within the community. ABSOLUTLY Call them out!! I do not support such activities within this fandom or any other fandom. It should not be encouraged or ignored. All I can advise is talk to the right authorities if you think there is such behaviour going on or your are a victim of such behaviours. We do not dismiss these behaviours nor indorse them here!! I want to make that perfectly CLEAR!)

To end on a light note - I am positive that these dark times will pass and soon we can all go back to enjoying what we love by sharing what we all collectively enjoy be it by watching, discussing, drawing, collecting and writing about an island with talking trains. Especially when we have the 80th anniversary of the RWS books coming soon, so lets all be positive and get excited for that event!!!!
