As a reminder, "cripple" is for physically disabled people only. If your symptoms physically disable you, you are physically disabled. Don't pull the "The brain is an organ too!!" shit with me. The DSM doesn't help my seizures that physically disable me despite being something fucky in my brain.
Look less at condition names and more at your symptoms. That will tell you if you are physically disabled or not more than just having an AuDHD diagnosis.
I feel like this is less people talking about symptoms and more splitting hairs over seeing physical disability as a "cool kids club." Chances are, if you see it that way, you are not knowingly physically disabled.

I really appreciate the body neutrality posts that people make about how āeven if you canāt love the way your body looks, appreciate the things your body does for youā. And sometimes there are examples. Itās a really great message.
I just want to take a minute to shoutout to my fellow disabled people who feel trapped in their body, or who may feel their body lets them down. Maybe sometimes youāre angry at your body or resent it for the things you canāt do. Maybe sometimes these posts remind you of these things and I just want you to know that youāre valid. Your feelings are valid.
You arenāt failing if body neutrality doesnāt work for you. I know itās often said to be a good alternative if body positivity isnāt for you but you arenāt failing if you canāt get there.
I just want you to know that your worth doesnāt change, regardless of what your body can and canāt do. You are always worthy.

Disabled people are allowed to eat what we want btw. Even if we eat it badly or messy. Mind your business.

You donāt have to be on the brink of collapse to use your mobility aids.
You donāt need to be limping to use your cane. You donāt need to be staggering to use your crutches. You donāt need to be falling over to use your rollater. You donāt need to be too weak to stand to use your wheelchair.
Theyāre there to help you and you are never too āstrongā to be using something that helps you.
