I want beach city to be angry. I want them to tell the gems to shut the fuck up and stop being so elitist and stop talking like they’re better than others. tbh the more i look at emerald the more i hate her design. lapis and even pearl I could handle because they were unique in that they were the first of their kind (also im kinda weak for lapis’ design) but emerald just looks like a cheap lapidot fusion and mix and match of different gems’ body parts

its literally the most healthy ship on this show. its one of the few decent representations of mentally ill characters with both of them looking out for each other.

@yummitycake it's not asking a show to be realistic it's asking a show to make sense and obey the laws it's world set up oh my god what a concept!!!!! people want their shows to make sense and fit with prior canonical rules? rose quartz as a quartz soldier has Zero (0) reason to be able to revive organic life with her tears???? There's NOTHING they need to revive that is organic and especially w shit like tears?? Like what kinda cliche bullshit. I'm sorry but rose is an ordinary quartz soldier and she has a billion fukcing abilities that make no sense for someone of her stature (a standard pink diamond soldier-someone made to fight not revive things otherwise she'd be a medic)

@camileion stevens tears don’t heal gems his spit does. when amethyst cracked her gem in that one episode steven couldn’t get her gem to heal w his tears. both lapis and eyeball were healed by Stevens spit as well. I’m at work rn so I can’t get details but gregs leg is probably an oversight or smth and Lars was brought back by Stevens tears. The idea they seem to be going for is Stevens tears can heal organic life and spit and his spit can heal gems and inorganic stuff
