Allantus cinctus, also known as curled rose sawfly or banded rose sawfly
Note: Contrary to what one may think, this cute little fellow is actually not a caterpillar! Therefore, when it reaches adulthood, it does not become a butterfly or moth. Its imago (adult stage) actually ressembles a tiny black, wasp-like insect!

Quick intro post!
Hi, I'm Lo, they/she, an adult, and I'm going to try and post little animals I find everyday from now on!
I really, really like lepidopterae (butterflies and moths), so it'll probably be mainly that!!
