Haven't forgotten about the CSI: Midst fic I am working on. I know exactly what happens in the next chapter just haven't had time to write it yet. Am in the process of wrapping up a D&D campaign of 5 1/2 years and then immediately diving into a new one only a couple months after. So, most of my time writing has been on one of those. But hopefully next week I'll have something posted.

I haven't watched CR in ages tbh, but sometimes I still think about my favorite silly ship of Fjord and Veth. I used to get anons asking me to write fanfic about it and everything. I hope that person (people?) are out there living their best life.

I wrote, what was supposed to be a one shot fic, post Midst finale some time ago. But then I got more ideas and so, it's been sitting there waiting for me. Will I ever post it somewhere? IDK maybe, but the story is basically like 100-200 years after Midst and a new cult has popped up (but more like the kinda cult you'd run into in a zombie survival game, I'm looking at you Days Gone, than something like The Trust). And also some CSI bullshit? The working title is literally CSI: Midst. The Cosmos surely won't be fooled again.

Things I loved about S3 of TLoVM:

Percy resurrection. "It's yours."

Seeing Keyleth do her earth Ashari test, since we as viewers never got that before!!!

Revenant Vax reveal and how they thankfully (probably) gonna skip him getting choked out by Artagan? Lmao

I actually really love Kaylie WANTING her dad to be with VM.

A+ VO work and portrayal of every single antagonist, holy shit. This cast is so fucking talented.

The animation is beautiful. Seeing Exandria come to life by such talented artists and animators is amazing.

Well, season 3 is certainly my least favorite. I don't dislike it, but I don't love it the way I did the first two seasons either. Not getting FIX HIM and Bard's Lament feels like they are really cheapening the emotional impact those two scenes had. I didn't even need Scanlan screaming "What's my mother's name?" But a new audience will never know his rage, his PAIN. How he didn't realize how much he meant to VM. All this speaks to the growth of his character later. I'm not saying that character growth can't be there in future episodes. But people unfamiliar with the campaign, will never know any of that (unless they go back see it) and that is a fucking travesty y'all. Will we get Tary? I don't mind the changes they made overall, it makes sense for pacing of a 25min animated series. I guess to me those scenes were important emotional scenes and I am dumbfounded about them being left out. And maybe a little bitter.

OH, I am very pissed about VM not killing Ripley together. What the fuck. That was one of the coolest things the team ever did.

Been ages since I did anything here. Anyway, S3 of TLoVM got me thinking. We think we are going to get Glintshore and Bard's Lament in the same season? The timeline is obviously not the same as the campaign. They are setting up for both SO WELL. And just like imagine both in one season, and someone is experiencing VM for the first time. Like fuck, just feels brutal. I am very ready to be ruined all over again. But folks who literally know nothing at all? Woof.

Finally getting around to watching season 2 of Good Omens, and it reminded me that I started (but never posted) an Undeadwood fic with the same premise but with Mason and Clayton as angel and demon, respectively. This was started ages ago, back when season 1 came out. Maybe I will poke at it again. Only half way through season 2, so no spoilers please.

Anyone else having thinky thoughts about Jester and her connection to the Traveler? He's her God AND weasel. She certainly has a unique connection to her god and now? Probably one of the strongest connections on Exandria after the Applebee's Solace. Anyway, I like to think she is still asking people if they are pooping in a sending spell and unaffected by the divine reductuon that's hit most divine casters because of who her god is specifically, and by his own admission would prefer less worship anyway.
