Ummmmaiiqlwpsksk headcanons about John, his family, and Ignacio:

Before meeting his wife, John used to date Ignacio. Before they even got married though, John ditched Ignacio since he had severe anger issues. He never bothered getting help or therapy for him since he tried once and thought it was pointless to try again.

Ignacio became depressed for a while when John left him, crying and having a breakdown. After that, something snapped inside of him and he completely stopped feeling upset emotions aside from anger.

Sometime after getting promoted as the town’s sheriff, John began to neglect his family more and more. He still loved them but he prioritized work more and was always busy.

Hope began to feel like she was a burden to John since he had to worry about her and his job at the same time. She thought he didn’t care about her as much and felt distant from him.

At one point, Hope tried getting John’s attention after a horrible day from school. John however was feeling extremely stressed and pressured during this time since he had to work on a case about kids disappearing and was given a deadline. So without thinking he snapped and yelled at Hope to leave him alone. This caused Hope to run away from home, having thought he finally stopped loving her. John thought she simply ran to her room and didn’t bother looking for her.

By the time he was done with work, he deeply regretted what he did and tried looking for Hope. Unfortunately, since Hope ran far away from home this made her an easy target for the Cult, and was inevitably kidnapped by one of the members (guess who it was).

After days of Hope’s “disappearance”, Karen (John’s wife) finally had enough. She talked with John many times to take a break, don’t overwork himself, and spend time with his family, holding onto a glimmer of “hope” he’ll eventually keep to his words and spend time with them again, and when their daughter had gone missing that hope was crushed. She later found out John snapped at his own kid, and in a rare moment of anger divorced him. She thrown John out of her life for good, not wanting to see his face ever again.

Finally, after everything that’s happened, John loaths himself. He refuses to take care of himself anymore because he feels like he doesn’t deserve care from anyone. He regrets choosing work over his family, snapping at Hope, everything (except for leaving Ignacio since he never suspected it was him). He wishes he could go back and change everything, but he can’t do that. He lost everything…all because of him.

Anyways thank you to whoever spend their time reading my dumb headcanons about this doomed little family :]

Thank you all again for commissioning me!!

I don't feel like I've been drawing for myself much lately because when I get commissions, I work on them as much as I can: - Working on 2 at a time - Only doing doodles in-between - Not having much time to play games (and quite a lot of my friends have been saying that they miss my art style or yell at me to take a break lol)

So commissions will be closed for a bit unfortunately

I also miss doing crazy colours and wacky textures in my art
