Colored that sketch of my detective OC Nina Howard with a new technique !!! Instead of clean lineart, I just kept the sketch as is !

I love how the grainy texture of pencil sketches look, and it takes so much less time too…. Why was I so blind as to never do that before

AA swap AU, but instead of making sense, I swapped Simon Blackquill with Taka

Behold ! Prosecutor Taka Blackquill, and her pet panda Simon !

I gave her chemical burns around her eyes instead of tear marks to mimic her feather pattern, and a big bandage on her nose to mimic her beak :v

Detective Nina Howard, 21yo, known all around the prosecutors’ offices as “the best coffee-maker all around town” !.. And occasionnal bad guys-catcher too !

Nina is Lily’s little sister, but she’s got a pretty tumultuous relationship with her considering her.. side job. A high profile serial killer and a detective don’t mix too well together.

Bonus bc canon is mine to bend as I so please and I have decided that Nina was assigned to Simon between the age of 18 to 21yo
