i have a reasonable amount of cowboy art on this account, and my favourite restaurant is a cowboy restaurant, so it feels strange to say that when all that art was made, the only ‘westerns’ i had seen were Back to the Future 3 and The Lone Ranger

i’ve now also seen the good the bad and the ugly, and i like reading cowboy comics

i might revisit maebelle and the traveller, now that i’ve had a year-long break from them but we shall seeee

i really miss the little community of bandom artists that got together in 2020

there were a bunch of us, mostly with fewer than 200 followers on instagram. it was a genuinely fun and supportive little group

we’d all share each other’s posts and comment and discuss the algorithm and what we needed to do to boost our reach and have little groupchats and discussions and when we’d make a dtiys the same few people would join

it was nice but once reels were introduced it kind of fell apart
