the way Hannibal stands in the doorway for a second, watching Will panic over Abigail, and you can see him clearly decide to step in and save her. You see the moment he chooses. He thinks to himself, yes, she will be useful to me. And then you see him next wearing a sweater, holding her hand, sleeping in a chair in her hotel room. It's a scene perfectly crafted to give a soft parental impression, and because it's Hannibal we know it's intentional. He wants Will to see him as Abigail's other parent, he's initiated his manipulative romancing of Will immediately. IN THE PILOT. The PILOT of this show. From the first moment, Hannibal has pivoted his whole shtick into "how can I best entrap Will Graham" I'm frothing at the mouth

older lotr illustrations sometimes depict éowyn wearing ridiculously small armour. apart from the problem general sexualisation of the only female character (who really does anything), there’s another hilarious thought:

éowyn pretended to be dernhelm, a man. to fit in, she must have worn men’s armor. so the armor in the illustrations is normal for rohirrim.
