So the AU is set shortly after Lu and Lev get paired up for the first time, where instead of growing on each other and becoming friends Lucas is still hella uncomfortable around Levi. Levi recognizes that Lu is like, a stupid good intel agent and it'd be a major loss if he wasn't able to work to his full potential, so he chooses to transfer out of intel into his next best match: programming! I have an entire document regarding all the lil changes to the universe that Ive been updating as we think of more things! ]

AU questions: If Levi moved over to programming, did Lucas stay with Intelligence? Or did he move too? And what about the podcast, do they still get together and make it?

[ So with Levi gone theres no real need to move Lucas, so he stays with Able in intel.

The podcast does eventually happen, but not for a long time since they aren’t on the same schedules. Instead, they start out with their own podcasts: Lu starts one for ghost stories and such (think a ‘Scared to Death’ style podcast), while Levi makes one for various conspiracies and gossip around the base (his is less a podcast and more like the radio shows you hear in the car in the mornings). Both choose to remain anonymous due to the nature of their topics, so it takes longer to figure out who this ‘rival’ radio host is, and once they do things get interesting ]

How can you love someone who tortured you and killed so many of your associates? Isn't that kinda messed up?

Lv: You say that like no one else in this base has tortured or killed someone... Lu and I alone have sent many a recruit to those very fates by delivering them to Connie or Yū, and don't get me started on Ryan and Kain. No one in this base is a saint, and no one’s hands are clean.

Lv: Thats not to excuse what he did of course, but to kinda help you understand why I feel the way that I do. Don't get me wrong my heart has and always will belong to Lucas, but there are still some feelings that linger for others. None I will act on while in a committed relationship of course, but the point still stands
