Hey guys. I decided to take a quick mental health break from tumblr because it just seemed like no matter what I did, I was met with constant criticism. I was just trying to make fun things and engage with the community, but I felt like everything was just met with criticism. The last episode of OFaB was really good, so I hope to be able to get to a place where I can talk about the show on here again because I really enjoy it. I might take a few more days before I come back, but I just wanted to give a quick update explaining the lack of posts recently. I apologize for only having negative posts as of late, and I hope to get back to more fun content soon. Thank you guys :)

Look man I have no idea why you keep reblogging my posts just to tell me that Pool’s age is wrong. I’ve explained it in the past but there is quite literally no evidence of Pool being an adult and there’s a lot to point to Pool being a child. The only argument that people like you have given me so far is just that it’s been “implied” during the show which just isn’t true and is also horrible and subjective evidence.

Pool obviously has some form of autism/neurodivergence that makes him really good at masking and might cause him to appear more like an adult, but it’s important to recognize the difference between them instead of being so unwilling to take evidence so that you can pick a fight online. Like I genuinely cannot tell if you are doing this to troll me or not, so I guess if your goal was to troll me then good job? Idk I think you’ve just made me more disappointed in the community more than anything. I wanted a safe space to share my interest and love of the characters and I’m feeling a little dogpiled now.

I know that the majority of people recognize and respect Pool’s actual age, but it still sucks that some people can be so disrespectful. I’m not going to ask you to block me or anything in the hope that you’ll keep reading my messages and eventually learn from your mistakes, but that’s all I can ask for. It’s okay to put out a bad take, everybody has probably done it at some point and I promise that—despite what your ego might say—I promise I won’t rub it in or anything, I just want you to be able to see neurodivergent characters in media for who they actually are.

Rembi has excellently conveyed Pool as a minor throughout the whole campaign and if you rewatch it with an open mind, you might be able to see that. I’m sorry that me trying to contribute art that I was passionate about and thought was cool in a slightly silly way has led to such a rant. I don’t like having to do things like this on my blog so I don’t know if I can promise a response to this, but I hope that we can move past this time of tension and continue on with our lives :)

Ok I’m back home now but I need to just defend myself here because I don’t know how I summoned haters with this post but Pool is literally a minor and I have proof. Have you noticed the way he treats the other characters? He literally doesn’t know what to do when comforting someone, he just kind of awkwardly asks questions and hope that they get better. That sounds like an autistic child still trying to figure out how socializing works. Also everyone always says that the cast *implies* that Pool is older but they’ve never said it and I’ve never gotten that vibe so I don’t mean to take the high ground here but please stop spreading misinformation about Pool. He’s a child with autism and people need to accept that fact instead of trying to turn it into something that it’s not. Sorry for the long rant but I just really needed to get this out of my system. It’s just hard seeing an obviously autistic character be ignored in media once again. Huge props to Rembi for playing the character so well and making it obvious to those of us who are willing to look for it, though. Huge props to him!

You know, sometimes I just feel like Pool is so underrated. Besides the first episode, nobody really talks about him outside of when they’re mainly talking about another character. I just feel like more attention needs to be brought to his character since it’s obvious that he has so much more going on than just “trying to be cool” as so many people seem to simplify him to. Everyone talks about how his relationship with Ruthie or Carlin are so crazy and whatever but nobody just talks about Pool. He’s his own character! They deserve the same attention that all of the other characters seem to get. idk I just love Pool so much and I hope that people start to see more to him than the minority of people who actually see and talk about him being the main source of conversation. I also want to put out there that just because Pool doesn’t engage in every single conversation, it doesn’t mean that he’s uninterested or that Rembi has gotten bored or something. In fact, I think it shows quite the opposite because it shows that he can restrain himself and he knows when it’s not his place to talk, he’s just a stealthy little guy sometimes and is that really so bad for him? Anyway so much love to pool and once again congrats on the start of the new season!!

OFaB SECOND SEASON LETS GO!! Aghhh I've missed the cast so much it's been too long! I loved seeing all their interactions again and the production quality is so good now!!

so obsessed with Ruthie and Pool's dynamic. The genuine concern Pool showed to Ruthie blowing up the world was amazing 🥰🥰 so glad they worked it out

Anyway time to visit Pool's home! I'm so excited to see his backstory!!!
