(Ask for the 5 beasts)
Do you get jealous of birds for still having wings?
- feral possum anon
Tumblr media
I do... I still miss my other sets of wings. And my halo...
Yeah!! Its not fair how THEY get their pairs wings but WE can't!? I can't fly due to the witches ruining my flight abilities!! Also the fact that they still have their kin..
Hm... No. I don't care for any animal nor cookie except myself and my dear friends.
Psh! Yeah! I only have one wing left!! Who wouldn't be jealous?! It simply isn't fair!!
*Silent Salt left the conversation.*
☆ Yes , They do. They also hate how they aren't able to fly yet they can't due to most or all of their wings being removed or grave injuries on their wings.. its only eternal sugar that can fly. ☆ ((also if you cannot see, mystic flour has head wings.))

It's all a game of chess. Sim Finn played the game, and Sim Damian fell into it. How can you promise something you know won't happen?

when it comes to context clues, people expect me to be Sherlock. I'm not, I'm Watson, you need to explain it to me.

Here's how the Zoey 102 movie is gonna go. I would literally bet money on this.
Quinn and Logan are super rich and successful/possibly famous in some way. Because, I mean, his money? Her brains? They were bound to be! Anyway, because of this Logan proposes to Quinn publicly and they're expected to have this over the top wedding (complete with multiple events, statues that get destroyed by Zoey's "boyfriend" with that car, and headsets for some reason?).
So Quinn asks Zoey to be her maid of honor and Zoey accepts, but she's worried about all of the events because Chase will be there. To prepare for this, she hires an actor to play her boyfriend. Chase is also nervous, so he also hires someone to play his girlfriend. Because duh! If Zoey's nervous, then Chase must be crawling out of his skin!
Anyway, everyone from PCA gets together and has a good time. They remember old days and what not. Stacy and Mark are together for some reason. (Guess they hooked up at Prom after he hit her with Michael's car?) In doing all of this, Quinn starts to realize that she misses being this way. She wants to be more down to earth, less lavish. And of course she will wait until the day of her wedding to do anything about it!
This also gives Chase and Zoey plenty of time to exchange longing looks.
So we get to the wedding. It's ass. Quinn leaves, not because she doesn't love Logan, but because she doesn't like the theatrics. I don't think Zoey and Chase will decide to use the venue for themselves Mamma Mia style (maybe Mark and Stacy will bc fuck a marriage license ig?💀) since we see them talking at the beach after, but I do think this will give them more time to reflect and decide to get together. I also think this is when they will reveal that they both had the same fake partner plan.
After Quinn leaves, Logan decides to propose to her again but in a way that is much more toned down. Only close friends are there this time around. I believe there are two proposals because 1. Zoey found out about their engagement over the phone. How could she been there, standing behind Quinn, if there aren't two separate proposals? 2. Logan is holding a tie in his hand when he proposes. Throughout the entirety of the trailer, he wears a suit and tie (even at the bar. Bleh!). Taking the tie off to propose is symbolic. It's him trying to meet Quinn where she's at.
As you can see in the trailer, Quinn says yes. They actually get married, everyone dances, and they live happily ever after. THE END.

here without you was so good until the end. you ruined it there.
*sigh* I've been waiting for this day and knew it was coming. As calmly as kindly as possible.
1) I can't ruin my brainchild. I wrote the fic. It ends EXACTLY how I, the author, wanted it to.
2) Instead of wasting your time and energy to comment or get on my page to send me an anon for a story you didn't like, scroll. Because this isn't constructive feedback, so as someone looking to improve my content, you've put me at a standstill.
3) if you're going to leave negative feedback, make it constructive and say it with your chest off anon so I can look at your blog and decide if I want to take advice based off your work. Or, message me exactly what you didn't like, so I, as the author, can explain my thought process to you, and you can help me better communicate that next time.
4) ✨️An explanation of the end of Here Without You✨️
If you haven't read my new angsty cheating Az x reader fic, here's a link. If you have and are upset over the ending, please read this, and then, if you still feel the need to comment, we can go from there.
I thought I had made it clear in the end that Azriel and reader are not back together, but working on their relationship so they can be a team co-parenting wise. I have reader explicitly saying that:
"This doesn't mean we're back together. It means we need to coparent for him while we work on things."
That statement is very cut and dry. No where it in does she say, "I forgive you," it in reality, and between the lines, says, "I appreciate your apology, but this is where my boundary is at right now, coparenting while we try to move forward."
Coparenting is a HARD relationship that requires sacrifice, communication, and as little animosity as possible. The ending also blantly says this:
You knew it would take time, that you two had many things to discuss first. This was a needed good start, though.
It is the beginning of them working on their relationship. A relationship is not strictly defined as a couple or marriage. I have a relationship with my parents, my child, my moots, and all of you. Her and Azriel's relationship at the end is coparents. That's it. And you cannot coparent well with someone you have issues with. Reader is being selfless for her child here.
I have had one person message me with their constructive feedback. Her issue was the bond being reopened, and as I explained in a comment, we know from SJM a rejected bond can drive both parties to madness. We have no clue what happens to fae from severed bonds, though. I have the reader opening it at the end because she is already showing signs of advanced PPD. She's opening it for the relief it brings. The last thing she as a single mom working on a coparenting plan needed was her, or Azriel, completely losing themselves or their minds.
I did not feel the need to explicitly explain that because when you're reading fanfiction, there is an assumption that you have literally context from the works it is based on, so me reminding you rejected bonds can cause madness shouldn't need to happen since it is a largely discussed topic in the books and the fandom. I also did not want any of you to feel I had dumbed down the context and hand fed it to you like you were incapable of understanding on your own.
I am sorry some of you did not like the ending, but I, as the author, stand by it. I feel I made it clear what was happening.
Tldr- azriel and reader are not romantically involved at the end. They are strictly coparents.

fans of anime with morally characters will be like "euhghhf i hate them so much they did ___ which is bad and they're the worst character ever i don't get why people like them so much"
um. um can you use your brain please and observe the character from an intellectual perspective???? how hard is it?????? the whole POINT of a character like that existing is because they are not fully bad, nobody's like that. the author is trying to portray a morally grey individual who may be doing the right things for the wrong purposes or the wrong things for the right purposes. it adds complexity and depth to the story. you do not Understand how much it contributes to the plot alone with charavters like that. the point is not to point out their flaws. obviously supporting that sort of behavior is a completely different story but please. can you think about the reasons you're hating a character? please?

Being deaf can make me a little non-sequitor sometimes. If my ADHD is acting up & it's loud, my lip reading skills aren't enough to clarify things. I end up relying heavily on context clues, so I make a statement. I don't say "yes, they are in basketball practice," or "no they're at basketball practice," because I don't know what the actual question was, I just know the answer they need so I simply say, "they are in basketball practice."
Sometimes I assume the wrong question so I end up making a statement that is completely unrelated to what they were asking.

Media literacy rant
When I was in school, we learned about something called inference. It is our ability to use context and prior knowledge to guess what a character is thinking or intending, and/or what the author is trying to tell us without outrightly saying it.
I fear for the future because this art is being lost. Readers (here meaning any consumer of media) these days want everything to be explicitly stated. For them, if it didn't happen or wasn't said in the text, then it isn't true.
"That character said sorry, so clearly they are remorseful" said of a character whose actions have shown no such thing and has a history of lying.
Further, when a character says or does something Bad without it being explicitly denoted as Bad, these readers believe that that is simply what the author believes to be right and true. Instead of, ya know, the author assuming you're not a dumbass.
"Character said that all puppies should be shot and no one called them out! Author supports puppy murder!"
The danger of this mindset is it leads to a dismissal of subtext – both in fiction and reality.
"Oh, come on, that's not what they said," as a response to someone with a marginalized identity complaining about microaggressions.
So here's some unsolicited advice: when consuming anything, always ask yourself why the characters/people in the story are doing what they're doing, and why the author is telling you this.
Do not just passively consume content.

no because humans have such complex facial expressions (and micro expressions) that these phrases make sense if you use your imagination and context clues.
example of "his eyes darkened"
I’m so sorry but in the nicest way possible do yall actually read books or just read words??? Cause I’ve been seeing that trend of people not understanding how “snarled” and “eyes darkened” and “eyes softened” etc. was used in a book and like…
Genuinely, do yall just not have imagination?? Or not understand figurative language??? Also eyes do literally darken and soften have you not lived a life??? How do you read with no imagination? Is this how you get through so many books in one month - you simply don’t take the time the understand the words as they are read?

man y'know... I didn't even really need to be taught the specific history around the term "manifest destiny" to just kinda realize the context with which it's used and who uses that term to know it's just like... colonialist bs??
