For @crystalangelluna
Chapter One: Robin
Marinette sat on her couch as she finished the embroidery on the suit jacket. She hummed to herself, absentmindedly wishing it wasn’t so cold so she could work on her balcony. Unfortunately for her, Gotham nights were colder than what she was used to. In every other city she’d lived in, she’d been able to sit outside with ease and enjoy the stars. In Gotham however, she had to be drowning in blankets to be somewhat comfortable on her balcony.
Marinette stopped for a moment, holding the jacket far from her to look at how the embroidery looked from a distance. She smiled, pleased with the work so far. She went to continue embroidering, when she heard something crash onto her balcony.
Marinette threw her embroidery onto her coffee table and rushed to the sliding glass door, pulling it open without hesitation. Her heart clenched at the sight waiting on her balcony. A tiny boy, clad in hero gear, collapsed in a pool of blood. Marinette had known about Batman and his menagerie before moving to Gotham, but she hadn’t  realised how young Robin was. Memories of butterflies and Hawaiian shirts assaulted her mind until she heard the boy groan in pain. Marinette rushed to his side, assessing his injuries.
It looked like Robin had been stabbed multiple times. Marinette’s face hardened as she pushed her emotions down. At this point, without divine intervention, the boy would probably die. Luckily for Robin, Marinette had nineteen gods that could help. Marinette carefully lifted the boy, wincing when he let out a pained whine.
“You’re gonna be okay kid, I promise. You’ve just gotta hold on buddy.” Marinette whispered, rushing inside as quickly as she could without jostling Robin. She gently placed him on her couch, not caring if his blood got on the couch.
“Guys! I need your help!” Marinette whisper-yelled, turning towards her bedroom. Colorful blurs zoomed towards her as soon as the words spilled from her mouth.
“Longg, Daizzi, Barkk! I need you to clean up the blood on the balcony as fast as you can. I don’t know who, or what was after Robin, but we can’t let him be found. Trixx, we don’t know if anyone placed a tracker on him so I need an illusion to disrupt any possible signals he’s putting out. Tikki, Wayzz, and Nooroo, I need assistance with healing him. He’s too far gone for just my help.”
The kwamis rushed around to help the Guardian in protecting the child that had fallen into her care. Marinette hoped that her healing combined with the help of the kwami was enough to save the pint sized hero.
………………………………………………………………………
Marinette collapsed on the armchair across from the sleeping hero. Healing the boy had been tricky, it had taken much longer than Marinette had thought it would take, even with the help of the kwami. Robin had over a dozen stab wounds of varying severity. Marinette had been horrified to find a stab wound that was only half an inch away from a major artery. She stared at the boy as she thought of what would’ve happened if she hadn’t been there.
Marinette stood and grabbed another blanket, placing it gently around Robin when she noticed him shivering. Her chest clenched again, he was too small. Even with his mask covering his face, Marinette could tell he was around the age she had been when she first became Ladybug. Marinette began to weigh the pros and cons of tracking Batman down and kicking his ass. She watched him as he cuddled into the blanket, looking like the child he was. Robin’s breath hitched and he froze.
“Ah,” Marinette thought. “He’s awake.”
Marinette’s hands raised in surrender as Robin shot off the couch. He swayed in place and Marinette rushed to keep him from collapsing.
“Who are you?” Robin croaked, trying to sound threatening.
“My name is Marinette, you fell and hit your head on my balcony.” Marinette explained, smoothly telling him the lie that she and the kwamis had come up with while he’d been passed out. Robin’s eyebrows furrowed and his mouth opened as if he wanted to refute but when he placed his hands on where the stab wounds had been, his mouth snapped shut. There were no open wounds, and his clothing appeared to be intact as well. Marinette had thought of everything.
Robin eyed Marinette in suspicion. As he opened his mouth to speak again, his stomach growled loudly. Robin’s face darkened a few shades as he looked away from Marinette. She stepped away from him as nodded towards the kitchen.
“Are you up to eat something?” Marinette asked quietly, eyes searching his face for a reaction. Robin’s eyebrows furrowed once more.
“Tt. That would be unnecessary. I have lasted far longer without food.” Robin said in a clipped tone. Marinette pursed her lips, an idea striking her.
“Well I’m about to make myself a late night dinner, and I’d hate to be so rude as to eat in front of you. It just wouldn’t feel right, so would you mind if I at least made you a plate? For my peace of mind.” Robin stared at Marinette, and she had the feeling that he was analyzing her body language for any signs of danger. Once he was satisfied with his findings, he gave her a curt nod.
“If doing so would cease your inane worrying, then so be it.” Marinette gave him a small smile before making her way into the kitchen, fully aware of the small boy trailing behind her. She began to pull ingredients out before pausing momentarily.
“Do you have any dietary restrictions?” Marinette questioned, cocking her head.
“I have no allergies, but I am a vegetarian.” Marinette nodded as she put some things back.
“I have black bean burger patties and fries. I think that would be a good late dinner, don’t you?” Robin grunted in acknowledgment and a silence fell between them as Marinette began to prepare their meal.
Marinette hummed softly to herself as she cooked. The food didn’t take long to make and before she knew it, Marinette was sliding a full plate over to Robin. She settled herself down in her chair and dug into her food, a wave of exhaustion falling over her from the heavy healing she had to do. They ate in silence for a while before Robin spoke.
“Has my team been spotted in the area? I thought they would’ve located me by now. ” Marinette’s chewing slowed as she tilted her head in thought. She slowly shook her head and swallowed.
“I haven’t seen any other vigilante tonight. If you have a tracker, they should be here at any moment though.” Marinette said, hoping Trixx would take the hint. Robin seemed satisfied with that answer and continued to eat.
Robin had barely finished his food, when three thuds sounded out from the balcony. Robin jumped off his chair, but Marinette held a hand up and walked out of the kitchen. Marinette looked towards the sliding glass door, shoulders dropping in relief when she saw the three vigilantes standing at the door. She quickly walked to the door and slid it open.
“I take it you are here for the petit oiseau?” Marinette said with a steely voice. The two younger men looked taken aback at her tone, while the big Bat himself tensed.  Nightwing held his hands up in a placating manner, before beginning to speak.
“Ma’am-” Marinette cut him off almost as soon as he began to speak.
“That is a child in there Monsieur Batman, correct?” Batman appeared stunned for a second, before slowly nodding. Marinette narrowed her eyes at the man. “Children aren’t meant to be heroes, Monsieur. Children are meant to be children. He should be having sleepovers, silly contests with friends. He shouldn’t be running around on rooftops, trying to hold his own against murderous psychopaths.”
“I appreciate your concern, but I can assure you Robin is extremely well trained. We always travel in pairs, unfortunately he was separated from his partner. I can assure you, this was an anomaly.” Batman spoke, his tone gruff but formal.
“I don’t care if tonight was an ‘anomaly’” Marinette said with air quotes. “It only takes a moment for the worst to happen” Marinette’s heart tightened, thinking back to a time of cats, butterflies, and bugs. Of a Cat once bright and brilliant, now only remembered with a statue and some words on a marble stone placed next to his mother’s. Batman and his brood tensed at the thought of their bird being hurt. Marinette closed her eyes and tried to calm herself before she let her anger get the best of her.
“Just…. Watch him closer. Please.” The plea was barely a whisper, but the words weighed heavily on the group. Footsteps from inside the apartment made Marinette’s eyes snap open as she turned to the boy behind her. She gave Robin a weak smile.
“Please get some rest mon Petit Oiseau. Stay safe.” Marinette ruffled his hair and nudged him forward. Red Robin’s mouth dropped when Robin simply nodded at Marinette.
Batman, Robin, and Red Robin turned to leave as Nightwing stepped closer to Marinette.
“Thank you for looking out for him. I don’t know what I would’ve done if something had happened to him.” Nightwind admitted quietly. Marinette’s chest tightened once more as she thought of the grievous injuries Robin had when he landed on her balcony.
“It was no problem. Please take care.” Marinette said, stepping back into her house and gently closing the door.
………………………………………………………..
Marinette was sat on her balcony, cup of tea in hand. Two weeks had passed since the Robin incident and she’d thought about the boy every day. When the bats had left, Wayzz had told Marinette that he felt a connection to the boy.
Marinette wasn’t going to give him the Miraculous. Not yet anyway. She’d decided long ago to never be like Master Fu. She planned on keeping tabs on the boy until he was older and maybe approaching him then. If Batman hadn’t gotten him killed yet.
A thud drew Marinette out of her thoughts.
Robin stood in front of her, hands on his hips. A smug smirk was on his face when she put the cup on the small table that separated them.
“Hello Robin.” Marinette greeted him politely, folding her hands in her lap. Robin just stared at her. Marinette sighed. “Go on. You obviously have something you’d like to talk to me about.”
“I know for a fact that I was stabbed numerous times. I should be dead, but for some reason I’m not.” Marinette grimaced at the mention of his injuries, but Robin pressed on. “I did some research into you, Dupain-Cheng. I know that you were the hero Multimouse. You were retired after being unmasked in battle…. or so Everyone was led to believe. You were secretly Ladybug, Heroine of Paris, the entire time.”
Marinette cocked her head, staring at Robin in disbelief. Even with the connection he shared with Wayzz he shouldn’t have been able to figure out her identity as Ladybug. Only True Holders could see through the Miraculous magic. Wayzz had said nothing about Robin being a True Holder, just that he’d be suitable with him. She sighed as she stood.
“Come with me.” Marinette said, motioning Robin towards the open door. Robin stood with his arms crossed across his chest.
“Tt. Why should I be so foolish as to follow you? You could kill me to protect your identity.” Marinette chuckled at his paranoia.
“If I wanted you dead, you’d already be gone.” Marinette said as she entered her apartment. She went to her bedroom and began the process of accessing the Miracle Box. Robin entered the room shortly after Marinette pulled out the box for the Turtle Miraculous. She stared at the box for a moment before sighing heavily and turning to the Boy Wonder.
“Robin, this is the Miraculous of the Turtle which grants the ability of Protection. You will give me back the Miraculous when the task is complete, can I trust you?”
Robin’s jaw dropped and he took a step backwards.
“Excuse you?” Robin asked incredulously. Marinette gave him a small smile.
“Only True Holders are able to see fully through the magic protecting a user’s identity. I suspected that you were compatible with a few of the Miraculous, but I need to see if you’re a True Holder. All you have to do is take the box and open it. You can give it back as soon as you’ve opened it if it truly makes you uncomfortable.” Marinette gently explained to Robin. He eyed her wearily once more before nodding his head and moving closer.
As Robin got closer to her, Marinette could feel the hum of magic coming from the young boy get stronger. Robin gently took the box from Marinette’s hand, glancing anxiously at her face once more before slowly opening the box.
The box instantly glowed bright green and a wave of energy surrounded the boy, who gasped and dropped the box. Wayzz floated up from the box and smiled at Robin. Robin hissed, his hand immediately going to his sword.
“He is my True Holder, Guardian.” Wayzz said proudly, puffing his tiny chest out in pride as he looked at his holder. Marinette pinched the bridge of her nose.
“Let’s go sit in the living room,” Marinette suggested wearily. “There is much to talk about.”
…………………………………………..
Weeks passed and Marinette had begun to train Robin in the ways of the Miraculous. Weh he had the time on patrol, he’d sneak away and train in healing and protection magic. He’d come on nights where he was benched as well. Only he’d show up in street clothes and a domino mask and knock on the front door. Marinette didn’t ask how he knew the apartment number.
In the short time that she’d known him, Marinette had gotten attached to Robin. The boy was a strange amalgamation of Kagami and Adrien, very formal and stiff but somehow his behavior led her to believe that he was somewhat sheltered as a child. Or at least, deprived of social interactions with children his age.
Robin had told Marinette that he wouldn’t be able to come this week, Batman had been trying to find his whereabouts the past three times that he’d slipped away. Robin had made it very clear that Batman would be furious that Robin was training with magic, so Marinette hadn’t suggested telling the man.
Marinette settled herself in front of her sewing machine, preparing to finish a commision from a CEO that Jagged had vouched for, when the front door to her apartment flung open. Marinette lpt from the chair, preparing herself to defend her home from intruders.
A boy in a hoodie stood in front of her now-closed door, with a backpack flung over his shoulders. He lifted his head and Marinette relaxed at the sight of the domino mask.
“Hello mon petite tortue. I thought we were laying low for a bit, hm?” Marinette said softly, approaching a boy to kneel in front of him. She brushed the hair of his face and waited for him to speak.
“I am benched indefinitely. Batman says that I am being untrustworthy, and until I tell him where I’ve been going I cannot patrol.” Robin said, sounding resigned. Marinette clicked her tongue at him and stood.
“You can tell him if you wish, I don’t want to be the reason you argue with your father.” Robin shook his head at Marinette.
“If it wasn’t this, it would be something else. I told them that I would be at a safehouse. I don’t want to see them for a while.”  Robin shrugged the backpack off of his shoulders and walked past Marinette, making his way to the guest bedroom she’d set up shortly after he had agreed to train with her.
“I don’t mind one bit that you’re staying with me, but what about school?” Robin waved her question off.
“Winter break starts Monday, I do not have class until the seventh of January.” Marinette watched the boy unpack the clothes he brought.
“Would you like to make some halva with me Robin.” The boy perked up instantly and trailed behind Marinette as she walked to the kitchen.
The duo baked for a few hours, with Robin telling Marinette about the desserts he had as a child and Marinette telling him about her parent’s bakery. Once they’d baked a few different desserts from Robin’s early days, they’d decided to go ahead and order delivery for dinner.
…………….
Two days passed with Robin staying with her, and they’d made a lot of headway with Miraculous training. Robin had transformed for the first time and the suit looked unsurprisingly similar to his usual suit, just with different colors. They’d sparred while transformed, to let Robin get used to the extra strength that came with the suit. Marinette had ended the training session around 5pm that evening. She didn’t want to push him too far and risk him being too exhausted to train the next day.
After dinner, the two sat on the balcony with a cup of tea and worked on learning to speak and read the guardian language. Robin seemed to be a natural at language learning, telling Marinette that he’d learned 13 languages before coming to Gotham.
As they continued with the new language, a person dropped down into the same spot Robin did when he’d come to confront Marinette weeks before. Marinette pushed Robin behind her instinctively before relaxing at the familiar vigilante.
“Bonjour, Nightwing. What brings you by?” Nightwing frowned at her before addressing the boy she was shielding.
“Are you okay baby bird? We’ve been tearing the town apart looking for you!” Robin scoffed and sat his teacup down.
“I am doing perfectly fine, Nightwing. I recall telling you lot that I wanted to be left alone.” Robin said indignantly as he crossed his arms over his chest with a huff. Nightwind stepped closer to the two before speaking again.
“Robin, I’m just worried about you. You’ve been sneaking off for a while now, and then you up and ran away. B’s been scared shitless thinking that someone took you. I’ve been scared shitless. I’ve been searching Gotham day and night trying to find you.” Nightwing said, his voice cracking with emotion. Marinette’s heart clenched. As much as she loved having her little turtle around, it seems as though his family needed their little bird.
“Robin,” Marinette said gently as she turned and kneeled beside his chair. “I think it’s time for you to go home.” Robin shrank into himself and his jaw ticked.
“I wish to stay here.” Nightwing and Marinette gave each other a look.
“Batman isn’t mad at you for sneaking off, if that’s what you’re worried about baby bird. He was just worried.” Nightwing said softly as he approached Robin’s chair. Robin sighed.
“I’m not worried about that. I’ve enjoyed my time with U-, with Marinette. When I return home, Father will not allow me to visit anymore. Marinette has taught me many useful things and I wish to keep learning from her. I have learned how to bake a few simple things, I’ve also learned to cook some things as well.” Robin said pleadingly, as if he was trying to convince Nightwing to let him stay longer.
“Robin-” Nightwing started before Robin abruptly cut him off.
“No Nightwing. I feel safe here. I am safe here. Umi would never let anything harm me.” The group went silent as soon as the words left Robin’s mouth. Robin was beet red as he tried to avoid eye contact with the two adults. Marinette placed her hand on his arm and gave him a small smile. Nightwing took something out of his ear and set it on the ledge of the balcony.
“Robin, I promise you that I’ll find a way to bring you back here. But for now, I have to take you back.  I am so sorry.” Nightwing whispered.
“I’ll wrap up some of your goodies mon bebe.” Marinette said, placing a kiss on the top of Robin’s head. She hurried to the kitchen when Robin and Nightwing went to the guest room to gather the boy’s things.
Marinette placed her head in her hands and let out a choked sob. She’d dreamed of children long ago. Hushed conversations with a golden haired boy about the future they’d have together once they defeated Hawkmoth. But those dreams had died with the boy. She hadn’t considered marriage or children since then, even the thought of it felt like a betrayal. Instead throwing herself into the Guardian role even farther. Marinette rubbed her eyes vigorously before placing most of the desserts they’d made into a reusable container.
“Are you okay?” A voice asked from behind her. Marinette sniffled and turned to the voice with a bright smile.  Robin stood in front of Nightwing, eyebrows furrowed in concern.
“I’m fine bebe. Are you ready to go home?” Marinette said, glossing over her obvious melt down. Robin frowned at her. He walked until he stood just in front of Marinette and stared up at her. Robin awkwardly wrapped his arms around her and patted her back a few times before stepping away.
“I shall return, Umi.” Robin said stiffly, grabbing the container of baked goods off of the counter and walking towards the door.  Nightwind and Marinette stood staring at each other. Nightwing gave her a crooked smile and Marinette grimaced back.
“I’ll bring him back ma’am. I promise.” Nightwing said quietly. Marinette gave him a sharp nod before Nightwing joined Robin on the balcony.
Marinette stood and watched the duo until they were nothing but dots on Gotham’s skyline. All she could do now is hope that her child made it back to her.

Proposal
Hello, this is the secret santa gift for @marauderundercover, I hope you enjoy!
Summary: In which Jason proposes to Marinette in a completely different way than planned.
AO3
Snow was blissfully falling in Gotham.
It would appear that, as the snowflakes were gracefully falling towards the ground, they were also dancing.
The city lights illuminated the dark alleyways of Gotham.
And for a moment, it was peaceful throughout the city.
No criminals were robbing other people, no supervillains breaking out of Arkham Asylum. It was relatively quiet for a city that was almost always busy.
In an apartment located in one of the safest areas of Gotham, there was a lovely, young couple who were cuddling together. The tv screen illuminated their faces; contrasting the darkness of the rest of the room. The screen was displaying the end credit scenes of the movie that they finished watching. The couple was wrapped in layers of blankets, and pillows; both comfortable lying on their couch.
Only the young woman was awake; she moved her head slightly to the right, in order to glance at the wooden floor. She spotted her baby bunny sleeping with Kwamis curled up next to it. Based on the little information she knew about these social creatures, she knew that the bunny was safe enough to let her guard down by closing its eyes.
She gave a small smile and turned her head to the left to look at the man who successfully stole her heart. The kwamis of creation and destruction were curled up, snuggling on her partner’s hair. It was a little strange to see, due to only knowing each other for a couple of hours, and the kwamis don't usually warm up too fast. However, it wasn't the most bizarre thing she has ever seen. She couldn’t help but look at the sight with pure adoration for how adorable it was; she was happy that the kwamis approved of him. She carefully passed her porcelain hand through her partner’s soft, black, curly hair; careful not to wake up the Kwamis and her partner. All while thinking exactly how lucky she had gotten in life.
Hearing the soft snores her partner was producing, she was surpassing a chuckle in order to not wake him up. She was very grateful that her partner was peacefully sleeping; since she knew that he was exhausted after the events prior to that day. The bluenette knew that she wouldn’t change anything in the world for this moment.
If you had told her that she would have been able to experience these precious moments to her 15-year-old self at that time, she would have deemed you insane! Her 15-year-old self was too busy fighting Hawkmoth and trying to keep up with her civilian life all at the same time. She couldn’t have been thinking about finding the person she was destined to be with, all while defending an emotionally manipulated city! The word love was tainted by 2 blonds during that time; apparently, it turned out to be the same person! However, it was no longer tainted, once she moved to her birth city at the age of 19.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng, or soon to be Marinette Todd, couldn’t help but replay the events from a couple of hours ago. She couldn’t fully digest the events from earlier that day unless she replayed the scenario over and over again. She would consider it the best day of her life, even if a part of the day scared the heck out of her for a bit.
~Earlier in the Day~
Marinette was listening to one of her favorite songs while creating the Christmas presents for her boyfriend’s family. Earlier in the Day, Jason had told her that he was going to take her out to dinner that evening. Since it was their 4th anniversary of when they first met each other.
Instead of waiting all day and doing nothing; besides thinking of different scenarios of places where they could go, she put her time to use. The kwamis were all currently in the miracle box, spending some time together in the pocket dimension.
Which meant that the kwamis wouldn't stop her, once she entered her creative zone. It was hard for her to stop unless something distracted her; or if she eventually ran out of her creativity for the day.
By the time she had finished the last present, it was already late at night. She checked her phone, which was beside her, and noticed that it was already 8 pm. Not only that, but she hadn’t gotten a new message from Jason after she began working.
She decided to get ready, seeing as she was only in the large red hoodie that she had gotten from her boyfriend and black sweatpants. Her hair was in a slight ponytail. As she was approaching her bedroom door, she heard that something or someone was knocking on her balcony door. At first, she dismissed it as a hallucination.
It was later disproved when she heard continuous knocking. Since the balcony doors were blocked by thick curtains, she couldn’t see who the culprits were. Remembering that this was Gotham, she went to the kitchen and grabbed the closest item next to her, which was a frying pan. She carefully approached the door and slightly moved the curtain.
What or who she saw was not what she had expected. Instead of being met with a criminal, she was met with an injured vigilante on her balcony. Who was holding his hand tightly on his stomach, at the brink of collapsing…
It was Red Hood.
The sense of relief that she felt, immediately left her as soon as she saw a knife sticking out between his fingers, in the area where he was holding his stomach. She helped the vigilante up and helped him to walk inside her apartment, without thinking it through. She led him to one of the walls closest to her, and they both sat.
What should I do?!?!
Red Hood is in my apartment?!?! Not to mention he has a stab wound!!
Jason hasn’t sent me a message in the last few hours!
Is he okay?!?!
What if he got hurt on his way here?!?! Or worse, he got killed!!!
What if-
Her head was roaming with millions of ideas and concerns all at once.
“-xie pop… I’m slowly dying here, mind helping?” Marinette’s thoughts were interrupted by the familiar nickname that came out of the vigilante's mouth. Only one person in the entire world calls her that.
“Jay!”
Red Hood was Jason Todd…
Jason Todd was Red Hood…
MY BOYFRIEND IS RED HOOD!!
Wait…
MY BOYFRIEND IS BLEEDING TO DEATH!!!
With that last thought in mind, Marinette regained her composure. And began to think of ideas in which she would save the love of her life from dying. The quickest and safest option to ensure that he stayed alive, required her to risk her secret identity. Which she had guarded so fiercely throughout the last few years.
At the moment, she didn’t care about it; he was her best friend and her partner in both fighting crime and her life. She couldn’t risk the possibility of him dying at the sake of her identity! For God's sake, she would live the rest of her life in guilt and regret if she let that happen!! And all for her secret identity!
“I’m sorry you had to find out this way Mari, I had planned to tell you in a completely different way.” His voice reflected the pain that he was in, no matter how much he wanted to hide it. Despite being in deep pain, he placed his other hand (that wasn’t covered in blood) and softly caressed her cheek.
“Jason, mon amour stay with me! I know how to save you, please don’t let go… not yet!” Marinette carefully removed the knife from her boyfriend’s stomach. Which caused Jason to hiss from the pain. She gently placed her hands on the area where the wound was, fully aware of the amount of blood that was pouring out. She concentrated her healing abilities (which she discovered while training at the temple of the Order of the Miraculous), towards her hands. Both her hands and eyes emitted a crimson red glow. Indicating that her abilities were working.
In a matter of seconds, not only did Jason’s wound begin to heal, the Lazarus pit that tainted his soul began to change.
The Lazarus pit was composed of more chaotic/destructive energy, than creative/healing energy due to the circumstances in which it was brought into existence. The results of using the Lazarus pit have resulted in more chaotic/destructive energy once used, therefore the balance was uneven between the two. When Marinette’s healing abilities made contact with the remnants of the Lazarus pit in Jason’s soul, it was able to balance the forces between it. Causing the negative effects of the pit to disappear.
This meant that Jason was no longer plagued with the constant negative thoughts and voices roaming his mind. His soul was no longer corrupted, and his mind had been cleared from the pit’s influence.
The glow that Marinette produced died down, and Marinette’s vision was clear. As soon as she saw signs that he was alright, she tackled him into a hug. Jason had removed his helmet and mask so she could see him clearly. He returned the hug as fiercely as she did, in order to reassure her that he was alive. He wasn’t entirely surprised to see her bury her head inside his chest while sobbing her heart out. In order to soothe her, he softly ran his finger through her smooth silk-like hair. A slight smile appeared on his face.
“ Jason! Don’t ever scare the heck out of me again, do you understand?!” She mumbled/ whisper-yelled into his chest.
“I’ll try not to Pixie Pop!” He gave her a toothy grin, which successfully made her laugh. She lightly hit his arm, slightly annoyed by his reaction.
From the corner of his eyes, he saw the furry little creature that he had brought with him; entering the apartment through the slightly-opened balcony door. He suddenly remembered the entire reason why he wanted to spend some time with her. Which was the same reason why he didn’t go back to the Batcave, in order to get medical attention.
“Pixie Pop, would you mind closing your eyes for just a second?” He asked, trying not to let her know about the baby animal that was currently wandering the apartment. To his luck, she didn’t hesitate to listen and didn’t ask questions.
Assuring that the small velvet box in his pocket was still there, he had gotten up and made his way towards the small creature. Gently scooping the small animal in his hands; he made his way back to Marinette and sat in front of her.
“You can open your eyes…” Once she did, she was struck with pure awe. In front of her, her significant other was holding a baby bunny in his hands.
“Jay…” Her partner placed the black and white baby bunny in her hands. To her, the bunny resembled an oreo cookie; by the way, the black and white fur resembled an Oreo cookie.
Once, the bunny made contact with her hand, it immediately snuggled its head with her palm. She would have continued to be astonished by the amazing surprise, if not by a letter loosely attached to it’s leg. She carefully took it off and placed the bunny on her lap. She had mentally named the bunny, Oreo.
When she glanced to look at Jason, it seemed to her that Jason was anticipating the moment. Since he was looking at her intently. She unfolded the piece of paper and read it.
To Marinette Dupain Cheng, the love and light of my life.
Before I met the most beautiful, loving, and compassionate person, (who isn't afraid to kick ass) most would say that I was in a very dark place. And I truly was; life can be a bitch most of the time; it certainly was to me. I had done many regrettable, and horrible things before I met you.
The moment I saw you in the midst of the crowd, you immediately caught my attention. For some reason, I was compelled to know more about you. Fate had decided to place you in my life and I couldn't have been happier than when I am with you.
When we started talking and spending time with each other, I couldn't help but feel safe and reassured near you. Those are the times that I treasure and remember most in my darkest moments. Despite not knowing the entirety of my past, you’ve never wanted to intrude or pass the boundaries.
I never noticed the small ways that I had grown to love you until the evidence was overwhelming. I love the way that your eyes light up and sparkle whenever you get excited. Those are the same bluebell eyes that I spend countless hours staring at; as if they were swirling, ocean waves. I love the way that your radiant smile lights up even the darkest places in Gotham. Even though you may find it a 'bad habit', I adore it whenever you ramble on about your day. Or about the difference between different fabrics, or just anything in general. I love how you are compassionate about designing, I love how you help those in need, how you stand up for people (even if it scared the shit out of me, that one time when you attacked Scarecrow's goons). There are a million other things that I love about you, but I'm limited on paper, so I'll get right to the point…
You have always been the light and love of my life, ever since you entered my life. You never left my side, and for that, I am grateful and honored to have such a wonderful, amazing girlfriend by my side. However, it would definitely be a million times better if you would officially be at my side, for the rest of our lives.
After all, Marinette Todd has a nice ring to it.
Marinette was so focused on reading Jason’s letter, and overwhelmed with his confession, that she didn't even notice that by the time she finished, he was already kneeling on one knee. Holding a small velvet box that contained a ring. She also didn't notice that Oreo had wandered off and was met by the curious kwamis, who finished their gathering. The kwamis intently watched the couple, realizing what was happening.
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng, as you read in the letter, there are many different reasons as to why I love you. I love how you always stayed by my side since the day we met. And it would make the happiest man alive if you would officially stay by my side for the rest of eternity. So will you, do me the honor and marry me?"
"Oui! I- I mean yes!" She gladly launched herself again towards her partner. Who didn't have enough time to place the ring on her finger. After a 2 second hug, they both leaned into each other to kiss.
Many would describe the feeling of kissing as fireworks. However, for the young couple, it was a warm and fuzzy feeling. Their kiss, however, was interrupted by loud cheers of joy. Upon seeing what or who caused the noise, Jason pushed Marinette behind him and grabbed his gun, pointing it towards them.
"What the fuck are those?!!"
"Jason, wait!" Marinette yelled, and placed her hand on top of the gun, in order to lower it.
"It's okay, Jay, they're not going to harm us." Even though she knew that a bullet wouldn't hurt them, she couldn't risk it.
She suddenly remembered the events from half an hour ago.
" Jay… don't you remember a few moments ago, in which I healed you with magic? Also, let's not forget to mention you're Red Hood?! And the only reason we found out about it was that you got injured!!" Marinette exclaimed.
" Looks like we're even, Pixie Pop! You have just as much explaining to do as I do." Jason stated smugly while crossing his arms. Marinette simply rolled her eyes and sighed.
She was about to speak when the kwami of creation beat her to it.
" It's so nice to finally meet you, Jason, we have heard a lot about you!" Tikki cheerfully stated, and the rest of the other 18 kwamis nodded.
"Congra-" Tikki was interrupted by her other half.
" Listen here punk, if you even dare to try to hurt our kitten, just know that I can literally pulverize you with just one word…" A small, floating, black cat with green eyes glared at Jason. Jason couldn't help but chuckle in amusement at the threat.
"PLAGG!" Both Tikki and Marinette yelled, upset about Plagg's behavior.
"What- I'm just saying that he should be careful, our kitten has gone through so much these last few years. Besides, it's just a warning." Plagg rolled his eyes, stating it as if it was an obvious fact. He spotted his beloved cheese on the kitchen counter and immediately went to gobble it up.
Jason began to connect the dots about where he had heard similar characteristics of the strange creatures; until it clicked.
" Pixie- you're Ladybug?!?!"
"I thought you knew that by now, guess not… But yeah, I'm Ladybug. While I would love to continue talking about the whole secret identity revelation, I'm a little tired of sitting on the floor, my back is starting to hurt..." She sheepishly stated.
Jason nodded, as he was getting up, he pulled her off the ground as well. He suddenly remembered that he’d forgotten to place the ring on her finger.
She was headed to the kitchen in order to prepare some food for Oreo, when she suddenly felt a soft hand gripping hers, stopping her from leaving. She turned her head to see that Jason was the one who stopped her. She also giggled as she saw Jason’s sheepish grin and the box that contained her engagement ring in his other hand.
" We were both distracted from the revelations, that I completely forgot to give you the ring.” He once again kneeled.
“May I?” Marinette nodded, and gently placed her hand on the palm of his hand. She was completely awestruck at the beautiful ring that was presented to her. It was a rose gold ring that had an infinity sign. It was decorated with 3 different, noticeable stones in the middle of the infinity sign. The rest of the infinity sign was decorated with tiny clear stones. And on the inside of the ring was marked with 2 different dates.
“The red stone signifies your birthstone which is the ruby, on the opposite side of the ruby, is a peridot stone that represents my birthstone. The gemstone in the middle is a Yellow Diamond since red and green mixed together create yellow. The ring basically represents the idea that both of us are entwined by fate. The love we have for each other is the strongest that there is, and it’s forever. The rest of the tiny diamonds covering the rest of the infinity ring, reassure the idea that our relationship with each other is unbreakable for the rest of eternity. The first date on the ring was the first day that we met, and the second date was the day on which we started dating. I felt like you deserved something more special and symbolic than a regular 18K diamond ring for your engagement ring…” He stated in embarrassment as he rubbed the back of his neck, thinking he overdid it.
Marinette was in tears about how thoughtful Jason was. She grabbed both of his hands and held them in a tender manner. She ran her thumbs across the back of his hands to calm him. She looked back up to see his Ocean Blue eyes and smiled. She slowly ran her fingers through his hair in order to fix it.
“Mon chéri, aprecio tu esfuerzo más de lo que puedas pensar. Estoy muy afortunada de tener alguien como tu a mi lado. No hay palabras que describan cómo me haces sentir.”                                                             ↓ (”Honey, I appreciate your effort more than you could possibly think. I am very fortunate to have someone like you by my side.” ) She said in a soft voice. They were going in for another kiss when all of a sudden Marinette's stomach growled.)
“Um- hehe... I guess I must be really hungry…” She sheepishly smiled and made her way to the kitchen.
“Pixie- did you even eat earlier?” He asked, slightly concerned and amused at how easily his girlfr- fiancé easily forgets to take care of herself.
“Funny story actually...after you sent the message of our supposed date. I decided to use my time wisely, and continued working on the Christmas presents for your family. And I, um… got a little carried away, and I um… lost track of time…?” It came out as more of a question than a statement; he simply sighed at his fiancé's response.
“Anyways, do you wanna help me quickly whip up something to eat? The quickest option would be a sandwich…” She responded as she looked through her available options from the refrigerator. Seeing as her fiancé already went to take out the loaf of bread from the pantry cabinet, she took out the rest of the ingredients. They both quickly worked together to finish preparing their meals. Marinette’s stomach was growling louder and louder by the minute.
They decided to eat in her living room since they were going to watch a movie. They both couldn’t agree on what movie to watch first. So they decided that they should each pick out 2 movies, including the Kwamis. Marinette picked out HTTYD and Your Name, while Jason picked out The Terminator, and Deadpool (AN: I never watched these movies, the only reason why I chose these as Jason’s choices, is because I believe that these are the type of movies that he would see). The majority of the Kwamis voted on the Disney movies; Tangled and Mulan.
They laid pieces of paper containing the names of the movies on the floor and placed small pieces of spinach on top of each paper. Marinette had decided that the privilege of who would choose the movie was up to Oreo. Whichever piece of paper she approached first would be the movie that they would watch.
It was a very tense moment between them, as Oreo carefully approached them. Her nose was twitching, trying to detect any sign of danger, her ears were perked up; when she didn’t sense immediate danger she approached the movie options.
The winner ended up being the Kwamis, with Tangled. Marinette suspected the Fluff had something to do with that.
Jason left to change, deeming his bloodied suit uncomfortable for the occasion. Once he returned in his pajamas, the young couple got comfortable on the couch and played the movie.
Both of them were done with their meal by the time that Rapunzel left the tower in the movie. Jason didn’t really pay attention to the movie; he never really understood Disney movies as much as Dick. He was exhausted due to having a really stressful and eventful day, and the need to sleep was slowly overtaking him, especially if he was embracing his fiance, knowing that she was safe. His eyelids slowly became heavy, he was about to drift off to sleep when he heard the lovely sound of his fiance.
“Hey, Jay…” He hummed, letting her know that he was listening.
“How was the original proposal supposed to go?” She asked, curious to know what the original plan was, and if it was entirely different than what actually happened.
“I was hoping that it would’ve been a calm and peaceful day, in which I didn’t have to fight crime. So that way our date, which was a reservation at a fancy restaurant that Replacement helped me reserve, would’ve gone smoothly. I would have proposed to you the same way that I did as before. Only it wouldn’t have included being healed from a stab wound that wouldn’t have happened if I wasn’t distracted. It also wouldn’t include finding out about each other’s secret identities until after.” He said sluggishly.
“If Tim helped you reserve a table at the restaurant, then does that mean everyone else helped in setting up the proposal?” Marinette knew full well the answer; however, she wanted to know who helped with what.
“Demon spawn chose the gift for you which was the bunny. He also helped train her for the last few weeks in order for her to properly get used to a routine. He also gave a 3-hour presentation on how to properly take care of a bunny, and gave out the rules in a binder… As I said before, Replacement helped reserve a table at the restaurant, which had to be canceled due to our duties as vigilantes. Dickie-Bird, helped generate ideas for the letter that I gave you. Bruce and Alfred… gave some advice on the whole proposal and marriage aspect.” He answered with his eyes closed.
“That was actually very sweet of them to help Jay! Also, now that I know the truth about your identity, I’m definitely making an upgrade to your family's suits, which includes yours as well...” Jason, simply hummed in agreement; with a smile on his face. He knew that he couldn’t change her mind about it. As he fell asleep, he felt comfortable and safe. It was the first time in a long time that he was able to properly sleep, without the Lazarus pit plaguing his dreams.
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So here she was, currently the luckiest girl in the world (figuratively and literally), being embraced by the love of her life. It’s truly the best day of her life (for now), even if she nearly had a heart attack. Even if the day didn’t go as planned, they wouldn't have changed it for the world. With that last thought, she drifted off to sleep, where she joined her lover in the dream realm.
Fate had looked upon the sleeping couple in joy, for both people who could be described as soulmates were happily together.
In order to make up for the pain that both have lived through, Fate had blessed them with eternal happiness, for they no longer had secrets, and lies between them.
For their special bond had flourished, and they continued to live the rest of their lives happily, and in love. They even expanded their family by adopting other children and having some of their own.
Even when they both passed on from the earth, they continued to find each other in their next lives.
As Jason claimed, their love for each other was unbreakable and forever...

The Power of Luck [Chapter One]
Read The Power of Luck on AO3
Masterlist [All Works]
Masterlist [The Power of Luck Series]
Written for Maribat March Day 6 - Miraculous Side Effects
The Ladybug Miraculous had quite a few side effects. Marinette was able to think quick on her feet, she was a skilled tactician in battle, and her reaction time was half that of a normal human. Most notably, the Ladybug Miraculous granted its user the force known as Miraculous Luck, which, depending on the situation, was sometimes more of a curse than a blessing. Marinette didn’t get to choose how that good luck manifested. For instance, when she needed an extra day to finish a history project, her school closed down due to a gas leak. Or when she wished for a fresh start after the defeat of Hawkmoth, her parents were offered a deal to grow their bakery business in America.
Marinette assured her parents that she didn’t mind moving. After all, most of her class had already moved on. Lila had been deported to Italy, narrowly avoiding jail time. Chloé (much to her dismay) was sent by her father to an all-girls boarding school in England. Adrien was taken in by his Aunt Amelie (as Gabriel was in jail and Emilie was declared brain-dead) and moved to England as well.
No one else from Marinette’s class left the country, but many of them moved out of Paris. Nathanial was accepted to an elite art school in Marseille. Max was accepted to a gifted program at an elite school in Bordeaux. Officer Raincomprix was transferred to Toulouse and took Sabrina with him. Juleka and Luka both started homeschooling after their mother sailed the houseboat down the Seine to the city of Rouen.
Worst of all was the loss of Alya. Her parents were horrified that the son of Hawkmoth was in the same class as their daughter, and promptly pulled Alya out of class and decided to move out of the city. Alya begged them for weeks but nothing came of her protests. In the end, Alya left too.
The Miraculous Luck could do a lot of things, but it couldn’t keep her friends together. Those who remained at François Dupont filled holes in other classes. Marinette tried to make the best of her new class, but she felt no real connection to them. When her parents proposed the move, Marinette jumped on the opportunity. In Gotham, she wouldn’t be haunted by the ghost of her old life.
Marinette cut her hair, leaving it choppy and just above the shoulders. She donated all of her brightly colored clothes to the thrift store down the street and created a new wardrobe for herself. It was toned down and mature, much more fitting for Gotham.
Marinette left Paris a much different girl than the naive fourteen-year-old who thought she could save the world. She was ready for a city like Gotham, a city that didn’t make any promises, a city where Marinette could set down some new roots.
At first, it was easy to fly under the radar at Gotham Academy. It was a school filled with the self-absorbed children of millionaires and billionaires, after all. Marinette was there on scholarship - her good grades, leadership experience, and working-class parents combined to cut her tuition down by 75%. Marinette quickly learned that scholarship students were at best ignored, and at worst mercilessly bullied. So Marinette kept her head down and vowed that she would get through the year unscathed.
There was one variable, however, that the Miraculous Luck wasn’t able to account for. Marinette’s entire plan fell apart thanks to one boy: Damian Wayne.
Marinette became acquainted with Damian Wayne through the school’s rumor mill. She learned that he was one of the most wealthy and most attractive people in the school, but he was thought himself too good to spend time with any of his fellow classmates (Marinette couldn’t fault him on the last bit; she also found the students at Gotham Academy to be difficult, to say the least). Marinette also learned through the school’s rumor mill that Damian spent quite a lot of time staring at her. Given that Damian had never paid the slightest amount of attention to a Gotham Academy girl before, this was a big deal. Suddenly Marinette was the farthest thing from under the radar. Everyone who used to look down on her wanted to be her friend. It was exhausting.
Marinette resolved to ignore Damian Wayne - an easy task, given that she still didn’t even know what he looked like. Now that everyone was staring at her, it was hard to
“Why?” grumbled Marinette. “Why couldn’t my so-called Miraculous Luck help me get through one normal year of school?”
Tikki shrugged from her spot inside of Marinette’s backpack. “Maybe all of this attention will turn out to be a good thing?”
“I doubt that.” Marinette glanced around, checking that no one had spotted her talking to her backpack. There was one spot in the cafeteria that was hidden from view, a window-sill nestled behind a pillar, bordered by a wall on one side and an out of order vending machine on the other. Marinette sat on the window-sill every day to eat lunch, with Tikki as her companion for the meal.
“I think your problem is that you’re overthinking this. Miraculous Luck always works out in the end, even if there are some obstacles in the middle.”
“I just want this horrible school year to be over,” sighed Marinette, setting her head down in her arms.
“Don’t give up yet, Marinette. I have high hopes for this school year,” said Tikki.
Marinette had some serious doubts but picked her head up anyway. Maybe this year wouldn’t turn out the way she expected. Marinette defeated Hawkmoth, the greatest villain Paris ever faced. She could survive a year of high school.
Marinette was going to survive her senior year of high school. Damian Wayne on the other hand… Marinette still wasn’t sure if she was going to let him survive the year, after everything he put her through.
“Excuse me?” a sickeningly sweet voice piped up from behind Marinette.
Marinette put on her best disinterested-face, took out one headphone, and turned around. “Yes?”
There were three girls standing behind her: a blonde, flanked on both sides by a brunette and a red-head. The blonde girl had a smile on her face but a devious look in her eyes. Marinette had long ago learned to spot manipulators, and this girl had it written all over her. “Are you Marinette Dupain-Cheng?”
“Yes.”
“My name is Julie Cooper. I was just wondering… Are you dating Damian Wayne?”
Marinette huffed in exasperation. “What do you think?”
Julie’s eyes narrowed. “I just wanted to warn you. I mean, did you really think that Damian Wayne would seriously date a girl here on scholarship? You should break up with him before you get hurt.”
“It was a rhetorical question. I’m not dating Damian Wayne. It’s just a rumor.”
Julie instantly perked up. “Oh, good! I was beginning to think that Damian had lost his mind. I mean, I’m sure you would be a nine or a ten at a public school, but at Gotham Academy, you’re like a seven, maybe an eight on a good day. Most of the girls who go here are actually hot, not just,” the girl waved her hand towards Marinette. “Above average.”
Marinette wasn’t sure if Julie meant for her to feel flattered or offended, but her words had the strange effect of making Marinette feel both all at once. “Um, thanks? I’m going to go now.”
Julie’s brunette friend suddenly paled as the girl started to tug on Julie’s sleeve. “Um, Julie?” she whispered.
“What, Nora?” Julie’s eyes widened as they fixed on something behind Marinette.
Marinette turned around to see what the cause of their concern was. Or rather, to see who the cause of their concern was. It was a boy, tall and scowling. “Are you done here, Cooper?”
Julia nodded, a nervous edge to her voice, “Bye, Marinette.” She and her two friends hurried off, exchanging frantic whispers.
“What do you want?” asked Marinette with a sigh. She was tired of dealing with boys who were only interested in her because Damian Wayne was interested in her.
“I wished to apologize.”
“For Julie? Did you put her up to this?”
The boy looked confused. “No, of course not. I meant that I wanted to apologize for everything, not just Julie Cooper.”
“For everything?” The truth suddenly dawned on Marinette. “You’re Damian Wayne! I didn’t think that you would be so tall.”
“You didn’t know what I looked like?” There was real shock in his voice.
“Well, by the time I learned that you had been staring at me everyone was staring at me, so that wasn’t much help in figuring out who you were.”
“You could have googled me.”
Marinette shrugged. “I could have, but it felt weird to google one of my classmates. I pretty much just resigned myself to never figuring out who you were.”
“I should have approached you sooner. I’ve wanted to apologize for a while, but every time I’ve caught you alone you’ve looked like you wanted to be left that way.”
“I’m not a fan of most of the students here.”
“The students here can be…” Damian searched for the appropriate word. “Tiresome. I resigned myself to a dull four years of high school in their company. That is, until I saw you.”
Marinette cocked her head. “Why me, though? I’m nothing special.”
“You’re different than everyone else here.”
Marinette stiffened. “I know. I’ve been told. I’m here on a scholarship which means I don’t belong,” she snapped
Damian shook his head. “No, that’s not what I meant. You move through life differently than all of the other students here. You don’t care about the gossip or drama - at least, not until you were right at the center of it all. You’ve seen the real world, so you float above the high school drama. You’re just so… so…”
“So what?” Marinette’s tone softened.
Damian ran his hand through his hair, ruffling it. The addition of the messy hair added a certain charm to his otherwise polished exterior. “I’ve been brainstorming for the right word for weeks. The best I can come up with is pure. You don’t let yourself become affected by anything in this school.”
It was a very flattering description of her. It was also very on the nose. “I’ll forgive you, Damian Wayne, but only on one condition.”
“What?”
“I want to get to know you, and I have a feeling that you feel the same way.”
Damian nodded. “It’s a deal.”
Maybe her Miraculous Luck wasn’t so useless after all. Marinette had expected to go the whole year without making a single friend. Now, it seemed that she might make one after all.

Different Limits
Original Idea by @jinx-jade
Thanks to @moonlitceleste for beta reading :D
‘What have I done,’ Damian thought. Dick was lying on the floor with an arm that was clearly broken. He had surprised Damian with a hug from behind, triggering his instinct to attack. Damian had reacted by twisting his arm, resulting with Dick being on the floor. Jason entered the door when he heard Dick’s shriek of pain. “WHAT THE F*CK, DAMIAN!” he shouted when he saw Dick. His whole family had scolded him, Bruce had benched him for a whole two months, and Alfred had given him a disappointed stare.

Daminette December Days: 2, 12, 24 & 25
Prompts: Swords Play, Soulmate Au, Light and White
I missed most of Daminette December because I was really busy the whole month and I am terrible at time management. So I present to you, 4 prompts in 1. @daminette-december2019-2020
---------------------------------------
Marinette impatiently paced in circles, waiting. Today was the day that they would meet the American Vigilantes. Adrien just watched Marinette from her chaise. Not knowing how to reassure her that everything would be fine.
"M'lady, you know that everything will turn out alright. They probably won't refuse to help us take down hawkmoth. There isn't anything to worry about." Marinette didn't stop what she was doing.
"I know kitty, it's just that I'm nervous, what if I say the wrong thing!! Or I trip over and fall on them!! Or worse they refuse to help us, and we never defeat Hawkmoth!!!!" Adrian just sighed, he knew that it was hard for Marinette to break that phase. Luckily for him, it would be resolved quickly.
"Marinette, Adrien it's time for patrol!!!" Tikki whisper-yelled at both of them.
"TIKKI, SPOTS ON!!"
"PLAGG, CLAWS OUT!!!"
Kaalki came over to them and opened a portal. They both walked through the portal and ended up on the top of the Eiffel Tower. The portal immediately closed behind them, they found that Batman was already there with his partner (not sidekick) Robin.
"Greetings Batman and Robin from Gotham, it is an honor to be working with you."
"Tt, more like insufferable," Robin muttered under his breath, they still heard it.
"Robin!" Batman scolded Robin, but he just scoffed.
"Anyways, Hawkmoth has been terrorizing Paris for 4 years. Recently, the Justice League realized that it wasn't a joke." Chat Noir began.
(Time skip, after a long boring meeting with Robin pissing everyone off.)
The meeting was finally over and everyone was getting ready to leave. Chat Noir shook hands with Batman and Robin(Robin only did it to place trackers on them).
As soon as Ladybug and Robin shook hands they immediately pulled back. Both of them feeling the sudden jolt of energy. Their hands glowed, the light  blinding their eyes for a second. And the symbol of the yin and yang appeared on their hands. On each side of the yin and yang are things that represent each side of their soulmate.
Both of them just stood there, shocked about the newest revelation.
Damian's first thoughts of the revelation:
Tt, I don't need a soulmate…
Deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep down he knew he didn't believe that.
Marinette's first thoughts of the revelation:
I knew something was going to happen!!!! Tikki's luck is contagious, of course, I would get Robin as my soulmate!!! She internally groaned at the coincidence.
They both quickly dismissed themselves then abruptly left, leaving Batman and Robin by themselves.
As Chat Noir and Ladybug faded from their sights, Ladybug's gut was telling her that they had trackers. They found both trackers and went near the seine and threw it in the water.
(Time skip to next day)
Damian was bored, he spent his entire day in the hotel suite. He had no place to train without looking suspicious. And he had met his soulmate the day prior, who was a magical girl and one of the saviors of Paris.
"Damian, why don't you join the Collège Françoise Dupont fencing team, while we stay here?"
Damian thought about it for a moment, he would have to keep a low profile as possible. But, when you are the son of a famous billionaire from Gotham, word tends to spread around. But that didn't mean he would have to be bored.
"That would be adequate, father."
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Being the blood son of a billionaire has its perks.  He was able to get on the team in a short amount of time.
"Mr. D'Argencourt, I would be interested in dueling against your best."
Kagami Tsurugi he recognized, daughter of
Tomoe Tsurugi. From one of the greatest fencing lineages to exist. Just as Kagami was about to step forth, a hand stopped her. He saw that Kagami and another fencer, Adrian Agreste were discussing.
Finally, a fencer hidden behind them stepped forth and offered to duel him. He internally smirked, thinking that he would easily win. (A/n: I don't know a lot about fencing.)
"En garde!! Prêts? Allez!!"
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
He ended up winning the match, but it lasted longer than he thought. The unknown fencer had surprisingly had good tactics. At the end of the match, she held out her hand. He reluctantly shook her hand, when a glowing white light that imitated the day prior appeared. Gasps were heard from everyone present there.
The fencer took off her helmet, revealing the prettiest bluebell eyes he had ever seen for the second time (not that he would ever admit). Smiling, she introduced herself to her other half and Batman's partner.
"Marinette, Marinette Dupain-Cheng."
"Damian, Damian Wayne."
Extra:
Kagami: Wayne, you're going to duel against me for Marinette's hand.
Mari: Kagami!!!!
Adrian: Bug, she only wants to look out for you and make sure he's good for you. Besides, he will have to go against me as well.
Mari: Not you too!!

“You’re all pathetic.” Damian hissed, twisting the sword out of yet another knight’s grip. “How are you supposed to protect me when you can’t even beat me in a duel?” His sharp words glared at the line of knights that had applied to be Gotham’s prince’s personal guard. None of them lived up to his expectations, and at this point Damian wasn’t even surprised anymore.
He huffed impatiently. “Is that all you lot have got?”

Daminette December Day 6
Prompt: Comfort
Hope you enjoy!! @daminette-december2019-2020
It was a normal Sunday morning for Marinette. She had finished her latest commission, then she went on a date with her boyfriend. And finally, she spent the rest of her evening watching movies while cuddling with her boyfriend on the couch in Marinette’s room at the Manor.
They were watching halfway done watching Tangled when Marinette’s phone made a ping sound. She unlocked the phone and looked at her recent notification. It was a message from an unknown number, she realized.
Upon reading the message sent from the stranger, she couldn’t help but cry.
Damian finally realizing that Marinette wasn’t paying attention to the movie turned his head around to see her. Only to find out that his beloved was crying and that she was clutching her phone a bit too tightly.
“Beloved, what’s wrong?!?!” Damian asked worriedly, not knowing what had caused the sudden mood change.
Marinette didn’t reply right away, instead, she gave her phone to Damian.
He immediately looked at what had caused his beloved such distress and Sadness.
They were threat/hate messages signed by Alya and Lila at the end of the message. Damian just blocked and deleted the phone number from her phone. He then proceeded to hug the life out of his beloved.
“I love so much that I would through hell and back for you. Nothing that those imbeciles say is remotely close to true. You are beautiful, kind, intelligent, brave, and so much more. You’re too good for this world, Beloved.” Damian whispered in Marinette’s ear, making sure that his voice was soft and that he meant every word. He kissed her forehead and kept hugging Marinette.
They stayed in that position for a while, Damian comforting Mari most of the time. Eventually, they fell asleep by the time the end credits rolled in. Until Damian’s brothers woke them up.
“Pixie Pop, are you alright?” Jason asked his sister(not biological), noticing her red puffy eyes. After Marinette had explained the situation to her older brothers, all 3 of the boys left to kill some bit***s.
They didn’t actually kill them, but they had left them traumatized enough to rethink their whole lives. In the end, Marinette never had to worry about the liar and the rest of her brainless sheep. Her brothers and boyfriend were always there to provide her with comfort whenever she needed it. She was just happy to have people who she could rely on and that they would love her.

Daminette December, Day 1
Prompt: Inspiration
I'm so excited to participate in this wonderful event. I hope you enjoy @daminette-december2019-2020
Marinette yanked the page of her recent sketch from her notebook and threw it in the trash can.
Where the rest of her sketches of that day were.
Sighing, she twirled around in her chair. In those few moments that she was spinning, she couldn't help but remember memories that happened during the 5 years that she stayed there.
      《•••••••••••••••••••••♧•◇••••••••••••••••••••》
It all began when she was accepted into the foreign exchange program in Gotham.
She took the chance to get away from her past. Away from her problems, and to move to a safer location with the miracle box in her possession.
Upon arriving at the place that she would be staying at, she couldn't help but gasp.
She was going to stay at a MANOR!!!
She stepped out of the car and was greeted by a kind man.
"Welcome, Ms. Dupain-Cheng to Wayne Manor. I hope you find your stay pleasant."
She froze again, she didn't know she was staying with the WAYNE FAMILY!!!
"Oh, um thank you, sir." She replied shyly not believing the luck she got into. But also remembering that she

  《○○○○○○○○○○○○○◇○○○○○○○○○○○○○》
A lot has happened since that fateful day.
She discovered that they were the bat family, and they discovered she was the retired ladybug and guardian of the miracle box.
She began to attend the patrols with them as Ladynoir. She got along with the batboys very well.
All except a certain robin, as time went on she melted his walls. And they eventually started dating.
She decided to attend Gotham's Design University with her scholarship. And since it was funded by Wayne Enterprises, she was still allowed to live with the Waynes instead of on campus.
***********************************************************************************************************Which leads her to this moment 5 years later, her teacher explained that the last and final project would determine whether she graduated from the University.
Marinette had been locked in her room for most of the day, trying to come up with the perfect design to graduate.
The rest of the family was worried about her mental state, so her boyfriend knocked on her door.
"Come in." Marinette groaned, she couldn't even greet them without stressing about her project. Artist's block was always the worst.
"Angel, you've been at that for the whole day, why don't you take a break and join us at patrol?" Damian softly said to the tired and stressed out Marinette.
"Eh, I need a break, it isn't like it’s due tomorrow." Marinette reluctantly walked over to the sleeping kitten(plagg) and started poking him.
Plagg got angry that she disrupted his nap, but calmed down when she promised 2 wheels of camembert.
She quickly transformed into Ladynoir and left with the rest of the batfam.
During that same night, a building near Crime Alley was set on fire. Red Robin, Ladynoir, and Robin were near the scene.
" Thank you so much, Robin, for saving my children!! I don't know  what I would've done without vigilantes like yourself for saving us!!!" A woman in her mid 20's thanked Robin, silently crying.
A light bulb sparked in Mari's brain. As soon as the patrol was done, she quickly ran to her room and started sketching her great idea, not wanting it to go away.
On the day of her presentation of her design, she was extremely nervous. This design would either help her pass and graduate or fail.
"Ms. Dupain-Cheng, it's your turn." Her art teacher, Ms. Perez called out.
She got up out of her chair and slowly walked up towards the room.
She slowly pulled the zipper of the bag containing that held the dress. ( I don't know what they are called.)
Her class and teacher gasped in awe at the beautifully made design/outfit.
Regaining her composure the teacher asked a simple question that was part of her grade.
"Ms. Dupain-Cheng, what inspired you to make this outfit?"
" Here in Gotham, this city is full of dangers. But luckily we have amazing people like Batman and his partners, Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, Robin, and Ladynoir. They have saved many lives. This is why I used my favorite vigilante as my inspiration." Marinette finished breathlessly.
(Time Skip)
As soon as Marinette got to the Manor, she ran towards the love of her life and hugged him.
"Tt, it looks like you passed Angel." Damian chuckled at Marinette's action.
"I did, all thanks to you dove!!!" Marinette explained.
"I did?" Damian asked confused.
Marinette facepalmed herself for her forgetfulness, "I forgot to tell you that you were my inspiration for my project. "
"Oh really…" Damian smirked at Marinette, while she blushed.
Extra:
The Batboys: Upset that Marinette chose Damian as her inspiration, but then again he was her boyfriend. But they were still upset.
Marinette: Baking them their favorite pastries.
Damian: Fighting his brothers because he was trying to steal their pastries.
