Minifigure Showcase: Joker, Penguin, and Scarecrow
What would the Caped Crusader be without his Villains? Indeed Batman’s rogues gallery are a large part of what has kept his character alive for over 80 years. Of course most anyone can recognize icons like Joker and the Penguin, thus it is only appropriate to translate the notorious baddies into LEGO form… with some modifications of my own of course.
Joker
The Clown Prince of Crime sports perhaps the most deceptively custom minifigure of the collection, because at first glance he looks like any number of Joker minifigures released during the early years of the LEGO DC Superheroes lineup. However what sets him apart are A: his torso, exclusive to the Joker from the UCS 1989 Batmobile. And B: A custom coattail piece cut out of the LEGO Batman Movie’s Joker, made far shorter to better resemble Alfred’s coattails from the same wave. Top it off with an original design for his BANG! gun, and generic purple legs, and the Dark Knight’s arch nemesis is ready to represent in my collection!
Penguin
Oswald Cobblepot a.k.a the Penguin is among the more underrated villains in Batman’s lineup. He can be as conniving as he is cartoonish, so I wanted his minifigure to match that sentiment. My Penguin uses the Hat, Fur collar, and Torso from the LEGO Batman Movie Penguin minifigure (which in my opinion is the best minifigure to represent the character), not to mention the newer black umbrella element. His head however is replaced with the head of the more commonplace Penguin minifigure, to maintain his human aspect. Finally, his short black legs are replaced with dark bluish grey Mid-legs and his hands made white to represent his gloves.
Scarecrow
Scarecrow has been my favorite Batman villain since I can remember, perfectly juxtaposing the Dark Knight while still bringing out a truly “Halloweeny” theme. My minifigure representing the character has been among the oldest of my custom figures, and fortunately not that hard to make! Simply take the LEGO Batman Movie Scarecrow (found in set 70913) and replace his printed sand blue legs for non-printed dark brown ones, to unify his color scheme. And for some reason, every Scarecrow minifigure since 2006 has had “miscolored” hands, meaning hands that just didn’t match the color of his mask. This is probably supposed to represent his fear-toxin-spraying gauntlets but who knows. Anyway just replace them with tan colored hands and there you go!
All in all Batman’s villains have been a large part of my collection. As time goes on I’ll probably do more posts showcasing more of my custom Batman villains, but I just wanted to get the most important ones out of the way first. Let me know what you think!

Happy Halloween!
This year, I went above and beyond for #moctober. I built a Gothic Castle, inspired by early monster films such as Dracula and Frankenstein. The model itself measures 23 inches (58.42 centimetres) and has a total of 9 different rooms packed with details to bring out the spooky charm of the build. the main foyer is accessed by the main gate and is lit by a black iron chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Below the foyer is the crypt, where the vampire’s coffin and a statue of the grim reaper lay low beneath the rock. to the right of the crypt is the dungeon, where an unfortunate skeleton has met his demise. Above the dungeon is the library, where tomes and atlases lie about. cluttering up the floors and bookshelves. opposite of the library is the brewing room/laboratory, where shelves of potions provide ingredients for devious concoctions. above the brewing room is the Vampire Bride’s crystal ball room, where the dark mistress peers upon her prey. Finally, the main room of the castle is the organ room, where the master of the house himself, the Vampire, plays an ominous tune, surrounded by flickering candles and portraits of his predecessors. The Castle itself features 8 minifigures: the Vampire, the Vampire’s Mistress, the Mad Scientist, the Mad Scientist’s Monster, the Werewolf, 3 ghosts, and an additional build of a large bat guardian, the Vampire’s alternate form.
This moc was an absolute blast to build. I had never built anything like this, but I was inspired by set number 9468, the vampire castle from Monster Fighters. You can even see some of it’s parts being used throughout the build. I’ve always preferred Gothic Castles over the stereotypical haunted house, having always admired their much more oppressive looks and medieval feel. The moc originally began as a new lair for my original character, Lord Voldereck, but soon grew into it’s own thing after the front of the build came together. Overall I’m just satisfied with the amount of detail that went into the construction of this model, and it’ll definitely be around for a while. Thanks for checking out my moc, and Happy Halloween!

So I’ve made a youtube to help with spreading the news about LWB as well as streaming on twitch as a vtuber, I want to make content to help people make worlds and characters, but I’m playing games and making the kind of stuff I know how to make before I really dive into making in depth character and world creation guides.  If you would like to join the Discord. See my Lego World Builder Worlds. Subscribe to the Youtube. or follow the Twitch. Please feel free to comment, reblog, or like!

“Heroes, power up!”
Team pulsar, a quirky group of heroes still trying to get used to the fame that comes with being in the clash. Check out their stories below, while I work to get clash picked up as a real tv show in pitchfest!
Pictures here are (from left to right)
UFmO: a conspiracy theorist who’s alien armor gives her a wide array of powers, but they show seemingly at random.
Reverb: the chill, musical healer of the group, but don’t get him angry, as the power of music can be devastating if used in anger
Lightfoot: team leader, he’s excitable and chaotic, with super speed and energy powers, his penchant for making a scene makes him great at choreographing battles!
Smokebomb: he may be a terrible ninja, but with teleportation and smoke cloud bombs, smokebomb manages to make it work.
And knight-guard: second in command of the team, the defense based knight-guard works with the ghostly stormy to keep her friends safe and battle enemies that knight gaurd by herself couldn’t stand up to.

So while working on lego clash, my worldbuilder project that I could REALLY use some more attention on to help it become a real lego series, I had the idea of turning it into an isometric platformer game with some fun boss battles. Here’s some early concepts for the bosses! In order:
Glitch grid
Wreckers missile-master
The duplo temple guardian
Wreckers massive mayhem mech
This is missing “jolts goo getup” and “trickshot’s gunner gauntlet”
As well as a potential forest based level for rottwood

One step closer to the goal! All my extra focus needs to be going towards this project but you’re welcome to check out my other projects if you would like.  Also, gotta love the summary they gave it.  “When a family stays in a hotel haunted by ghosts from a burned down film lot, the kids learn about their pasts and a plot by the hotel owner to expel them. “  Pretty close to mine actually: “When Dave and his family move to a new city nicknamed the "Desert of Dreams." They discover the hotel they're staying at comes to life with ghosts at night! Join Orion and his friends as they learn about the 1960's and 70's from the ghosts that live in The Orange Grove Hotel.”

I Can’t Believe It!
A few weeks after entries for Lego World Builder pitch fest closed, I received an Email just today notifying me that The Adventures of Nautica Cruise was accepted! Out of the likely hundreds of entries, my world was chosen as one of the twenty worlds to be pitched to the Lego Entertainment team! I’m so ecstatic to start work on my pitch and to expand on this world, thank you to all who have contributed to and supported this world!
