The night session has started on Centre Court at IGA Stadium.

Riley is on a quest to win another WTA title and her first since undergoing her hamstring injury. Ever since coming back from recovery, Riley is more determined than ever to remind the world she’s back and tougher to beat.

It has nothing to do with Riley seeking outside validation.

She knows exactly what she is able to produce on the court. Her career resume at only the age of 26, has put her among many greats of the sport of tennis. Her victory at Wimbledon was already an indication that the World No.1 player was never going to give up her throne so easily. If anything, it’s a dangerous sight for players to see Riley hungrier and preparing herself to go on another historic run.

It continues right here at the National Bank Open (Canadian Open) in Montreal, Quebec.

It’s one of her favourite tournaments to compete in. It always feels extra special when Riley travels to Canada, because her mother, Trinity is Canadian. In fact, she was born and raised in Montreal.

Tonight, the Montreal crowd has the luxury of watching a match up that is made for the primetime, bright spotlight.

Riley Edwards vs. Coco Gauff.

The Quarter-Final match-up that tennis fans have been anticipating since the draw came out.

The match has been very competitive right from the start. Riley won the first set in a thrilling tie-breaker (7-6). Currently, in the second set, the game is tied 3-3. Coco is on serve, and she’s leading 15-0. Coco has been struggling throughout the tournament with her serve, and in this game she has accumulated some double faults. Riley doesn’t let this get to her head. She is aware that her opponent is one of the top players in the world, had just won the French Open, and she has proven that she can quickly find a rhythm to dominate the court.

Riley pays close attention as Coco makes her second serve, and she immediately pounces on it, to return the ball in a backhand winner. The crowd ‘oohs’ and ��ahhhs’ at Riley’s bold approach to confidently make that type of play on the ball. The points are now 15-15 each. A long rally ensues against these hard-hitting athletes. Coco is known for her tenacious speed, hitting balls back from every spot on the court. Riley is also capable of using her own quickness to keep up with Coco, never keeping her eyes off the direction of where the ball will land next. After hitting a strong forehand on Coco’s far left corner, she has to run fast to get the ball over the net. This gives Riley enough time to take advantage of an opening to hit her signature backhand, to win the point.

“C’MON!” Riley yells ferociously to herself. The crowd absolutely loves her enthusiasm, cheering her on, after making the shot to go up 30-15. She looks over at her box, all on their feet. Of course, her dad, mother, siblings, and the rest of her team, are in attendance. Her grandparents that live in Montreal are there to watch their granddaughter compete, which means everything to Riley.

It’s not often that they travel to watch her play, yet they are her biggest supporters. They never miss a game on TV or any opportunity to watch Riley play on the court. The wide smiles on their faces while clapping, gives Riley even more motivation to finish this match with a win. Her dad, her coach, has the same idea, as he yells to Riley words of encouragement to stay focused for the next point.

Riley did end up winning the point to lead by 4-3. After more rallies, and Riley making big time shots, she is facing match point. Coco makes her last attempt of giving herself a chance in the match to stay in it. Her serve goes over the net. Riley hits a great return. Coco tries to keep the ball in play, only for it to hit the net. Riley raises her arms up in victory. She has won the match in straight sets: 7-6 to 6-3. She raises a fist bump at her box who are all wearing proud smiles and excited about the win.

Riley is moving on to the Semi-Finals!

She runs over to meet Coco at the net. They exchange a nice hug.

“Good job, you deserve this win. But I’m definitely getting my revenge next time.” Coco does look visibly disappointed by her defeat. Yet, she forms a small smile, joking around with Riley who is someone she is close with.

“Girl, trust me, I know you mean that.” She laughs, understanding that Coco is an ultimate competitor. Once she shakes hands with the umpire, her focus switches to the crowd who are thrilled by the results of the match. Riley is a fan favourite wherever she plays, exciting fans with her terrific style of tennis.

She waves at the crowd acknowledging all the happy faces. After wrapping up her post game interview, and hitting tennis balls with her autograph to the fans that are left in the stadium, Riley leaves the court.

Her phone makes a ding sound, indicating that she got a text.

Riley has the biggest grin on her face.

She can’t help but feel a million butterflies swirling in her stomach because Joe, her boyfriend, watched her entire match. It’s the greatest feeling knowing that she’s with someone who cares about her and supports her passion and all the hard-work she puts in.

She promptly replies to his messages.

Riley: Aren’t we impatient 🤨

Riley: Don’t worry babe, won’t be long 🥰

Riley couldn’t wait to exit the media room after completing her post-game conference appearance. It’s not that she despises talking to journalists after a match (though she would much rather not deal with reporters who ask her questions that have nothing to do with tennis). She is often friendly with the media, sometimes cracking some jokes, and she enjoys the familiar faces who are frequently on assignment in various tennis tournaments throughout the season. There are tons of compilations all over YouTube and Tiktok that show the most entertaining moments of Riley’s post-game match interviews.

But all she could think of was finally getting the chance to talk to Joe on one of their nightly routined FaceTime calls. When they are away, traveling to a different city, or a different country, they make an effort to stay in touch through texting, phone calls, and FaceTime. The best part for Riley while she’s been in Montreal, is Joe’s good morning texts as soon as she wakes up, and his impromptu FaceTime requests when he’s just fresh out of the shower, looking delicious in all his glory with his wet curls draped over his forehead. If the both of them have the time, they like to eat their breakfast together before Riley has to head over to the practice courts, and when Joe has training camp duties.

Riley is actually swooning when she walks out of the press conference, grinning as she looks down at her phone, reading over the text messages Joe sent her in the last hour.

She turns a corner, and walks through a door that leads to a room that is for the family members of players. Immediately, Riley finds herself in what she likes to call “a beautiful chaos.” First, loud cheers erupt from her family and team. What follows after, are sweet hugs and kisses on the cheek by her grandparents, her parents with the widest smiles and telling Riley they couldn’t be more proud, more congratulations from her team, and lastly her siblings who almost push her to the floor with a gigantic group hug and hollering noises.

Her brothers and sisters express their excitement when she wins her matches through over the top gestures. It’s the type of energy that will let anyone know that they are in fact siblings. Riley loves every second of it.

“I appreciate all the love, but I seriously need to breathe!” Riley laughs, feeling the weight of their bodies crushing her bones. When they pull away, she sighs in relief to recover.

She will be able to play her next match in one piece after all!

As they all walk out to return to the hotel and have a late night dinner, Riley sends a quick text to Joe.

Riley: On my way in 5 babe

“Are you texting your boyfriend?” Olivia is by her side. A hint of amusement is in her eyes along with a smirk. She’s munching on churros from the Mignon churro truck that is a favourite at the National Bank Open.

“Hmm, maybe.” Riley casually shrugs, deciding to play along. “Isn’t it past your bedtime for you to be eating this?” She swiftly grabs a churro from the paper cone, and runs away before Olivia can get a hold of her.

“Hey! Where are you going thief?” Olivia yells, but a laugh follows right after.

“C’mon Marc!” Riley calls out to her security guard, who is trying to keep up the lighting speed of a prime athlete. She eats the light, sweet, fried-dough heaven, and begins to slow her pace when she is closer to the player’s only locker room.

Riley retrieves her duffel bag and all her personal belongings. Marc and security escort her outside the back of the stadium where fans are waiting to catch a glimpse of the tennis star, standing behind barricades. She takes some photos with fans and signs a few autographs. She releases a long sigh when she’s in the backseat of the car taking her to the hotel. Riley is exhausted from her match. She’s more than ready to finally change into some comfy clothes and FaceTime Joe in the comfort of her bed.

Her assigned driver pulls up in front of the hotel. He gets out of the car to open the door for Riley on her side of the vehicle.

Riley is carrying her bag over her shoulder and another bag that has her dinner, given to her by the hotel staff. She arrives on her floor, with Marc behind her, adding protection to make sure she makes it there safely. She gives her thanks to Marc and the two of them wish each other a good evening, and Riley uses her key card to open the door. She walks in and plops her bag on the floor. She goes over to her suitcase and begins to pick out her pajamas.

She took a shower after the match. All she needs is a quick change. She figures that she’ll do her night time routine after speaking with Joe and eating her meal.

Riley positions herself to be in a comfortable spot on the bed, with the goal of finding the best angle to place her phone. She settles her back against the pillows and her phone is being supported by one of her suitcases (she needed to be creative).

When she opens Joe’s contact and presses the video icon, the butterflies in her stomach come back to life, as she anticipates Joe to answer her call. The sound of the ringer ends when Joe’s face enters through her screen. Riley doesn’t even hide her reaction to the beautiful sight of her boyfriend.

Just like Riley, he’s in a hotel room, laying on his bed. The NFL pre-season has kicked off, and the Bengals are in Philadelphia to play against the Eagles. He’s wearing a black bengals t-shirt, grey sweatpants, and his curls are wet, which means that he had a shower not long ago.

Of course, Joe can make the most normal outfit look so fucking good.

“Hey, Baby!” Joe says, a softness in his tone. A smile pulls at his lips, and Riley notices his blue eyes appear brighter, with the help of his bedside lamp. Riley wishes she can push her arms through the screen and kiss every part of his handsome face.

“Hey babe, how are you?” She smiles, while opening the plastic container that holds her dinner.

“I’m feeling good… but even better now that I’m talking to my girlfriend. Who looks absolutely stunning by the way.” He grins. She has changed into a simple tank top and sleep shorts, a satin head scarf wrapped around her head. She eats her chicken, while trying her best not to appear shy, in reaction to Joe’s compliment. She doesn’t ignore the way warmth enters her body when he refers to her as his girlfriend.

Their relationship is new, and the both of them are at that stage where they can’t get enough of referring to each other as girlfriend and boyfriend. You would think that they are a couple in high school dating for the first time. Yet, Riley can’t think of a better way to describe the reason why she’s instantly affected by his touch and just by looking at him. Even the thought of him fills her with happiness. Her heart and body reacts in all the best ways. Riley is simply obsessed with Joe. And she’s confident that Joe feels the same way.

“Don’t be shy now, Baby. You were a straight up beast on the court tonight! It’s hilarious to me how not long ago, I was watching you play against Coco with this sexy confidence in your eyes, that told everyone in that stadium that you were going to keep control of that match. And now, my girl wants to hide those beautiful eyes from me. I don’t know if I should feel sad, or proud of myself for getting this type of reaction out of you.” He laughs. Riley knew that if she was sitting right next to him, a pillow would get thrown at his big ass head!

“You’re walking on thin ice Burrow.” She giggles, finally having the courage to sneak a glance at Joe with that stupid smug grin.

“I’m being serious! I don’t care how many times that I have to tell you that you were incredible! I get so much joy out of watching you play baby. You give it your all in every match you play in. I love your fighting spirit. You could be down by a few points, but it’s evident by now that it’s never over, because you can take over a match before anyone can blink. I’m so in awe of you. And I’m not just talking about tennis, Riley.” There is clear conviction in Joe’s words. Her heart beats with joy, hearing Joe hype her up, and revealing his thoughts of her performance on the court.

The thing is, he tells them in a way that shows Riley that he is very invested in her career. He notices the passion she brings with her every time that she steps foot on the tennis court. It means the world to her that he makes the time to pay attention to her match schedule, and watch every match from start to finish. Meanwhile, he’s tackling meetings, practices, workouts, and on top of many other things, in preparation for the new NFL season. Through all of this, no matter the distance, he makes time for her.

This is a man she can’t let go.

“You’re so sweet Joey.” She smiles softly, her eyes becoming glossy. For a bit, there is a small comfortable silence, the both of them saying nothing, just staring at each other. Almost as if, they are taking in the strong connection they’ve created.

Riley is the first to break it. “Are you ready for the preseason game against the Eagles? I know that you’ve been working really hard to prepare yourself for this upcoming season. But Joey, I hope that you’ve remembered to take care of yourself in the process.” She says, her tone serious.

She understands thoroughly that Joe has been mentally locked in, and fully committed to making sure that the Bengals start their season in a positive direction. Yet, they are both similar in how they approach their jobs. They can be so caught up in their own routines and the goal of perfecting their craft, that the possibility of taking a break can feel like an afterthought. It’s important for Riley to make sure that the two of them are held accountable for these flawed practices.

Joe shifts around in his bed and raises his phone to fit this new angle. “I’m definitely ready to see what we have right now as a unit. This is sort of like a test run for having a better idea of how everything we’ve been doing in our practices so far can make us a better football team. And we can also learn what improvements need to be made.” He uses his fingers to push away those curls that cover his forehead, before proceeding to speak again. “Honestly baby, I’m so fucking excited to get on that field even if it’s a game that won’t factor into our record. And don’t worry, I’ve been using those vanilla and lavender scented calming candles that you sent me. A few times a night I’ve been lighting them up, and putting on a face mask. I appreciate the good tips you’ve been teaching me.” He smiles.

Riley can feel her heart bursting out of her chest. A visual of Joe coming home from a long day of practice duties enters her mind. She can imagine him, lighting up some candles with a tv series playing in the background (probably Seinfeld). He opens his bathroom cabinet and carefully decides what face mask he should be using, from his display of options (organized by Riley). Once he successfully puts on the mask, he’s underneath the covers of his bed, finally having time to decompress. A big smile stretches across Riley’s lips, from the thought of Joe using her advice to properly take care of himself. That’s all she wants at the end of the day.

“I can tell all of it is working. There’s this hungry look in your eyes Joey, that can even make a complete stranger on the street understand that you are fucking coming for everybody this season. No one is safe. I mean, just by seeing those pictures and videos of you in training camp looking all delicious in those cutout tights that make your ass and thighs look unreal, gives me all the confirmation I need to know that other teams aren’t ready for this Joe Burrow. Like, I almost couldn’t handle showing up to practice after seeing my boyfriend’s hotness all over my timeline. I love it, though. Seeing you in your element… you just keep getting finer.” The words come out of Riley’s mouth so fast that she needs to take a second to breathe. And she meant all of it.

“You can’t be saying words like that to me Baby. My ego is lovin’ this way too much.” He laughs uncontrollably, his face red from blushing. Joe does feel a boost to his confidence from the fact that his girlfriend is not only attracted to him but every part of him… and he feels the exact same way about Riley.

“But I’m not wrong. You’re going to do amazing things out there on the field! It’s about damn time that you win your first MVP. I can’t wait to be there to watch you in person for the first time.” Riley says, her voice drifting off momentarily. It’s becoming more and more real as the start of a new NFL season is fast approaching. Soon enough, she’ll be watching Joe play quarterback alongside Bengals fans. The thought of it alone is thrilling, while at the same time, it will introduce their relationship to the world. Riley is still trying to wrap her head around how her life has changed so rapidly.

For Joe, he never could’ve imagined that he’d fall this hard very quickly. He had no intentions of being in another relationship, his main focus was his career. Yet, until he met Riley, all of that changed in an instant. Now, all he wants is for his girl to watch him play.

“I’ve been dreaming of the day that you are in my suite… watching me play with my parents there.” He says, his eyes tender and a smile on his face.

Riley couldn’t contain her own smile. “I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t thinking of the same thing. I’ll be cheering you on, screaming until my lungs can’t anymore, and your parents are gonna think I’ve lost my mind” She laughs.

“Nah, they’ll love you.” He says, nodding his head with full confidence.

“Since we agreed that you’ll be getting to know my family at the US Open… they’ve been waiting a long time to finally meet you so prepare to be bombarded with a gigantic list of questions. Take it as a warning sign” She smiles teasingly.

Riley is tempted to scream into a pillow. Not only does it warm her heart that Joe is onboard with the both of them meeting their parents, it also shows that he thinks so highly of their relationship. She feels appreciated.

“I’m ready for all of it, Baby.” He winks.

They continue their conversation, talking about any topic that they could think of. Joe notices Riley is slowly falling asleep, her eyes no longer able to stay awake.

“Hey babe, you need to get your rest. I’ll talk to you in the morning.” He says quietly, letting out a yawn. He can also feel sleep calling his name.

“You’re right. I just miss you and I get so excited when we get to talk like this. It reminds me that we are close, when it seems that we are so far away…” The sound of her voice drifts off again, her body finally succumbing to sleep.

“Good night, Baby.” Joe says softly. He’s not ready to turn off their FaceTime call just yet. Instead, he takes a moment to simply admire Riley.

She’s in her peaceful slumber. As he watches her take slow deep breaths through his phone screen, all Joe wants is for Riley to be in his arms. He’s never felt this much passion for a woman. It’s impossible to imagine his life without her.

He curls up under the covers and takes his phone with him. Since the first day they met, Joe felt their undeniable connection. It didn’t take long for it to become so powerful and effortless. There’s nothing stopping what they have. Joe knows it’s going to be permanent.

There’s also something else he’s sure of. The words come out without hesitation.

“Fuck me Riley… I love you.”

When Imani and her friends got back from the restaurant, she had no clue about Jack being in her hotel room. "Girls this has been the best birthday ever. Thanks for coming with me" she said as the four left the elevator to the hotel room. Amila stepped infront of the the door before Imani could open it. "There is one more surprise for you Imani."Amila expressed.

"What could it be?"

Amila opens the door and revealed Jack holding flowers along with a birthday display of gifts for her along with black laced lingerie with a silk black robe. "Happy birthday babe," Jack said walking to her to hand her the flowers. "I wanted to fly out to surprise you for your birthday. I hope you like it."

"Are you Fucking Kidding me?! Like it?! I love it!" She grabbed the flowers and hugged Jack. "This just made my birthday better. Wait where are you guys going?" Imani noticed her friends heading back out. "We decided to go the Casino or to the club so you and Jack can spend some time together." Keighley explained. Liani also chimed into the conversation. "Yeah, we can all do something tomorrow. Enjoy your night you two." Just like that, the other three girls left for the night.

Imani looked at all the birthday gifts but only three things caught her eye. "Jack why did you get me lingerie?" Imani asked Jack while holding up the set. Jack looked into Imani eyes. "For your other birthday present. I booked us a flight with Love Cloud. How do you feel about joining the Mile High Club?" She smirked when Jack asked her that question. "Well, help me out of this dress first and then I'll go put it on." He helped her out of the dress she was wearing for her birthday and then she went to go put the set on but kept on her bow studded heals on.

When she walked out the bathroom, Jack was in awe. He loved how the set looked so good on her. "You know I'm kinda debating if I want to leave out of the hotel room." All Imani could do is playfully laugh when he said those words. After Imani put on the lingerie, they took a different elevator downstairs to not only avoid any fans or paparazzi but also to the limo that was waiting for them. “Jack, I never experienced something this before,” she told Jack. “I’m a little nervous.” Jack grabbed her hand and caressed it to comfort her. “Imani, they have been doing this for years, and also have good reviews. Nothing is going to happen.” The elevator reached the first floor on the different side of the hotel. Once they left the elevator, they left out the back entrance only to be greeted by the limousine driver. “Welcome,” the driver said opening the door for the two. “We hope your experience with Love Cloud is a flight to remember”

It's been almost a month since Imani started her secret relationship with Jack. The reason why it was a secret? Well, for a couple of reasons. One, it was a long distance relationship between them. Imani didn't want to pack up her and Ari's stuff and move out right away. Second reason, to avoid any drama with Caleb. It was already bad enough Caleb wanna spread lies about Imani's personal life but it would probably get 100 times worse if he found out is baby mama was now in a relationship. So she was determined to keep her peace. When she got back to her apartment, they decided that every two weeks out of the month, Jack would fly Imani out to spend time with him and go on dates or vice versa. They decided to time the weeks when Imani's period was about to end so she can have more energy to enjoy herself which was right around Jack and Urban's birthday.

*3 days before Jack's birthday and 8 days before Urban's Birthday*

Imani was in a horrible mood. She was dealing with the cramps from hell along with a blood flow that could make her look like she woke up in a murder scene. Since Imani gave birth to her daughter, her periods became like hell for her. She was envious of her best friend who didn't have really intense periods like her. At least the only good thing was Imani and Amila would get their periods either a day apart from each other or at the same time so they won't go through it alone. "You know what, fuck you Mother Nature and fuck you Eve! I hope that apple was worth it!" She was looking forward to one thing though. She was going to be with Jack to spend time with him for his birthday towards the end of her period.

(Insert clip of Imani arriving at the dance studio for Ari's ballet class.) anyways, we arrive at the studio and I quickly fixed up her hair because someone wanted their hair in two ponytails and wouldn't stop throwing a fit in the car. I sat outside the dance class room and watch Ari participate in the class(insert clip of Ari dancing with her little friends without showing their faces and the teachers faces as well) with her friends. Shortly after the dance class, we went and got some tropical smoothie cafe for lunch.(shows clip of her getting what they got.) Shortly after we arrived home, I put ari down for her nap and then went and changed because I'm tryna get my body right for that BIG 25 aka my 25 birthday and also for my girls trip for my best friends birthday as well(insert clip of her getting dressed and going to the apartment gym) luckily for me, my apartment complex has a gym I can work out at so I don't have to go far. I didnt do much since I didn't have a lot of energy from this period being here but I did as much as I could.(shows clip of her doing some exercises) After working out, I took me a nice little shower and made some dinner (shows clip of her putting on her comfy clothes and making dinner) and for tonight's dinner, it's veggie tacos baby! After we ate the tacos, I got baby girl ready for bed, then I just chilled and hanged out with bestie a little bit before I had to the most important thing and that was pack my bag because your girl going to Kentucky and not just any part of Kentucky, Louisville Kentucky and no it ain't for Jack... or is it(she giggles over the voice over while grabbing her suitcase with some clothes.) ok imma stop before shaderoom decides to get in my business. Imani, Amila and Ariella, arrived in Louisville. Caleb's mom unfortunately fell ill so Imani had to bring Ari with her on the trip. Which in hindsight might have not been the best idea but she had no choice. She couldn't call her mom either to drive down to Louisville because her mom hated last minute stuff. Good news was that Ari is a well behaved kid so she wasn't worried about her acting up in public. They arrived at the hotel which wasn't far from Jack and Urban but as soon as those girls arrived they immediately crashed onto the beds. They drove for thirty hours to get to Louisville instead of taking a flight and they were TIRED.

"Amila, why did we agree to drive 30 hours?"Imani asked her best friend who was almost asleep. Amila replied, "because our flight got canceled and you ran out of options." All three girls soon feel asleep on the beds for a while. But one thing was clear though, they were never doing that shit again!

*skip time to Jack's Birthday*

"Happy birthday Jack!"Imani hugged her boyfriend after being apart for so long which was only a couple of weeks. Jack hugged her back and kissed her. "Thank you baby! What did you get me?!"

"It's a surprise" Imani winked to him. "But not that type of surprise, because it's still that time of the month."

"Jack, I hope you found somewhere family friendly because I couldn't get a babysitter last minute." Imani pointed to the two year old who was holding on to her hand. Jack looked at the two and replied confidently "Don't worry, I found a place for us to all eat at." They had dinner at this nice restaurant that was also kid friendly for Ari. The one thing Imani didn't have to worry about is Ariella acting out in public. Mainly because Imani was not that type of parent to let their child run around and act up. She may gentle parent but she doesn't let her child run over her. Shortly having dinner, the waiter brought out Jack's birthday cake to sing happy birthday to him. The other three stood up except Ariella because she was in a booster seat to sing happy birthday to Jack. "happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you. Happy Birthday Dear Jackkkk, Happy Birthday to youuuuuuuu." Jack was overwhelmed with happiness from the singing and blew out the 'number 26' birthday candles. "Thank you guys, this has been a truly special birthday."

Urban, Imani, and Amila sat back down on their seats so they can grab a slice of cake. It's a two layer cake buttercream icing because Imani and Ari couldn't have whipped cream icing. "Here is your present babe" Imani said as she handed him the gift bag. "I hope you like it. I had to make sure it was special."

"Thanks babe. I can't wait to see it." He opened the bag and took out a small box. When he opened the box, his smile gotten a little bigger. "You got em a new watch?"He asked with joy in his expression. "I sure did," Imani exclaimed. "But you should take a look on the inside." Jack turned the watch over to find his initials engraved on the watch. "Thank you Imani, I really love the watch you gave me." The two shared a kiss before eating some cake.

*March 18 2024*

The best thing about Imani and Amila and Ari staying in Kentucky for a couple of weeks was that they were not only able to celebrate Jack's Birthday but also Urban's birthday as well. They went to a different restaurant this time but it was still family friendly. Since Imani's period ended along with Amila's, the girls had so much energy to do a lot of things. but sadly, all good things come to end.

*March 25 2024*

"Amila, this was a great trip. I'm glad you came with me." Imani said while packing her bags. Amila replied, "Me too. You know urban is kinda cute. A great photographer too." Imani looked at her best friend with a smirk. "I think someone is falling for Jack's Best Friend."

"Yeah right" Amila rolled her eyes. "But I mean it could be interesting though. But we have better things to focus on remember. You have a birthday in Vegas next month so we have to get ready for that trip"

"Damn, we taking a lot of trips this year."

"Well, it's our year this year. You in a new relationship with a man that loves you so much."

Imani couldn't help but smile about that fact. "I guess you're right Amila. Let's go home because we have 30 hours of driving. I drove us to Kentucky, so you wanna drive us back?"

Every start of the new year Imani will film a q&a video to mostly do an update on her life. It was just the regular questions but today's video was going to be different because since she started seeing Jack, she was prepared to get a bunch of questions about him.

"Hey YouTube," she smiled and waved at the camera. "It's your girl Imani Richardson, Aka Imanionthemoney (sound affect plays) and happy new year!"

"As you may know at the beginning of the year I do a Q&A as a way on updating you on my life. You guys had sent me so many questions and a lot of them were similar as well. To make sure the video isn't too long, I try to answer around 30 questions. As always let's get into today's video.

cuts to the title "Before we get into today's video," she started off. "I want to thank today's sponsor of this video Olipop." She grabs a can of her favorite flavor Apple Crisp and holds it up to the camera. "Guys, olipop has been a life changer for me specifically because olipop isn't like any other soda. cut back to the Q&A "alright, now time to get into these questions. I got my phone pulled up with the questions you asked me and I'm very excited to answer as much as I can." She looks for the first question to ask and clicks on that. "The first question is," she started to read* "How are you? Well I'm doing great, well I should say I'm doing the best I can."

"What has been your favorite video you have made in 2023? Well I can say the vlog where we were in Itaewon, South Korea. It was a new experience and on top of that, the city was so inviting I would go back there any time."

"Is it true that you really are a nerd? Yes I am, not just the media/gaming nerd." Imani explained. "I was also a nerd academically. Graduated top of my class in high school and was also a salutatorian in my college class as well. I have my mom to thank for how well I did in school."

She read the question and was contemplating on reading it since it was about Caleb but she had to answer it. "Will you ever get back with Caleb? No, I will not get back with Caleb."

Actually the next few questions were about Caleb. "Why did you and Caleb break up? He kept cheating on me and I was tired of his BS. He wasn't there as much for our child as well."

"How do you and Caleb coparent? I don't even want to get into that." "How did you feel about the video and livestream Caleb did? Ok, this will be the last question I answer about my ex," she exclaimed with a serious look at the camera. "All I can say is, I cried at first but then I called him out so to answer you question I didn't find it amazing."

"Next question is, why do you not show your daughter's face or only show a glimpse of it?" This was a serious question for her but her fans were curious so it was only fair to answer it. "For many reasons. The first reason being her safety. With the rise of things like AI, many creeps can take my daughter's face and then paste it on inappropriate videos/photos. Second reason is I just want her to be a kid. She's only little and doesn't have the grasp of social media."

She answered a few more questions before she got to the last few. "Finally, here are the last few questions. What is going on between you and Jack? You and Jack a thing now? What happened in the hotel elevator?(insert clip from Friday/ takes quick pause before answering)Well damn, I wasn't prepared for that many Jack related questions."

She slowly took a deep breath before answering. "Ok the truth is…..jack and I are just hanging out. There is nothing going on between us. I don't plan on getting into a relationship anytime soon(not if I have something to do with it😈). Yes Jack and I have hung out before towards the end of last year but I promise you, nothing is going on between us." cut to end of her video

Imaniwas in her walk-in closet filming a GRWM for her date with Jack. She was planning on wearing a red dress with her favorite red heels to match. As she finished getting dressed and filming her video to upload, Jack had FaceTimed her to see if she was ready.

After she ended her FaceTime call with Jack, she quickly grabbed her purse and headed out the apartment complex. She was in a hurry to see Jack because a few days before, he told her that he had a surprise at the end of the date for Imani. When we walked out of the apartment complex, she saw Jack dressed in a nice black turtleneck sweater with slacks paired with his new balance 550's to complement it and holding a big bouquet of red roses.

"For my lovely date," he said handing them to her. "Happy Valentine's Day."

She grabbed the flowers, smelled them and kissed Jack. "Thank you Jack, they smell so good." Jack opened up the car door for Imani and helped her get in.

The car ride to the restaurant was nothing but full of romantic vibes. Jack had a whole playlist full of songs perfect for Valentine's Day. Downtown LA was beautifully lit up at night and so full of romantic vibes from many different couples spending time with each other. Imani turned to Jack who was driving and asked him "So where are we going for dinner?"

"I heard you were a pescatarian so I reserved us a table at the restaurant Perch," he replied confidently. "To make sure that we won't have to deal with any fans so it can just be us, I reserved the whole restaurant." Imani was in shocked. No one ever reserved a whole restaurant to have a date with her. "Is my surprise at the restaurant?" she asked.

Jack placed his hand on her thigh and replied with a smirk "It is, and I can't wait to show her." What Imani didn't know was that Jack was planning on asking Imani to be his girlfriend. After a few months of seeing each other, Jack felt he was ready to ask her. Of course it came with its worries. Like for one, this was Imani's first relationship in a while since Caleb and he wanted to be a good boyfriend for Imani. The second one was, would he be a good father figure to Imani's daughter Ariella? Last but not least, can he avoid any problems with her baby daddy?

They arrived at the restaurant and Imani was taken aback by the beautiful atmosphere. "I will make it my mission to eat here after this!" ————————————————————————------------------------

"Here's everything I ate the Perch Restaurant in downtown LA. (cut to her eating the first food item) For the appetizer I had this French onion soup which was really good. I also had this little gem lettuces salad(insert clip with her eating it) which surprising was really good and super tasty. Now it's time for the main course and I'm having me pan roasted salmon, ok? (Insert clip of her eating her dinner). It had this smoked eggplant purée, along with vegetables Provençal and artichoke chips. I also order this side of these Perch truffle cheese fries(insert clip of her eating the fries.) and these were my favorite item on the menu and I like the way the truffles and cheese were blended so well together. And last but not least I had some white chocolate bread pudding topped with ice cream for dessert(insert clip of her eating it but Jack decides to feed her some of the ice cream to be like romantic but she keeps him mostly out the camera.) and oop- don't mind me, I'm just enjoying my Valentine's Day with my potential boo(her giggling on the voice over) anyways this dinner was almost $200 but the food was so damn good guys. What made this dinner was so special was that my date reserved the entire restaurant for the night which absolutely was the biggest highlight of the night and I will be coming back here. 10 out of 10, period!"(video ends)

Jack stood in front of her, and gave her a kiss on the lips. "Actually it's in the car." He opened up the car door and was this little setup with a basket of so many different gifts for Imani. This included a necklace for Imani, some candy, more flowers, some lingerie for her to wear, and last but not least a "Will you be my girlfriend sign?" Imani loved the surprise from Jack and she hugged him. "Jack, I would love to be your girlfriend but I have a few conditions."

"What are the conditions?"

"You have to understand, my kid will always come first."she stated to him. "The second thing is, I want to keep my relationship private between both our fanbases until I'm ready to say I'm in a relationship. Last thing, this is my first time in an interracial relationship, so when those comments come, be prepared to stand up for me."

He smiled and kissed her. "I am well aware of those things. I promise you I'm going to everything I can to be a good boyfriend for you."

"Then it's settle Jack, I'm ready for this." She placed her hand on his cheek and look deeply in his eyes. "Thank you for tonight though, I love this so much."

"You're welcome Imani, anything for you." They shared a kiss before leaving the restaurant of the parking lot. Imani and Jack were now in a relationship. Now for a little while, it's going to be long distance, but let everything fall in place.

Author's note: Imani and Jack are finally together. So who is ready for the Jimani relationship era? You may have notice that my masterlist had a bit of change recently. Well, I finally figured out hyperlink works so now my masterlist is a bit more pleasing to look at. Another thing, my writing has improved which is also a good thing as well.
