아 어렵다. 어려우니까 하기 싫다. 이미 내 안에서는 안하기로 작정한 것 같다. 의식으로는 해야 한다고 말하는데, 무의식은 싫다고 말한다. 그래서 나도 모르게 나태해지고 포기하는 것 같다.

이런 적은 없었다. 갑자기 모든게 아무것도 아닌 것 처럼 보인다. 다 의미 없어 보인다. 그럼 내가 하고 싶은 것은 무엇이냐 하고 물으면 그것도 모르겠다. 애초에 내가 하고 싶은 일이 따로 있었는지도 모르겠다. 그저 어릴 때 부터 해왔던 것에 나는 이걸 하는 게 당연하다고, 너무도 순진하게, 한번도 의심하지 않고 정착 해 버린 것이 문제일까. 아니면 너무도 당연해진 일이라 감흥이 없어진 걸까. 진짜 꿈이 있다면 시간이야 얼마나 지났던지 간에 항상 설레이고 긴장된 상태에 있어야 하는 것 아닌가.

어쩌면 이건 나에게 맞는 일은 이게 아닐지도 모른다는 생각이 요즘 따라 머리 속에 지뢰처럼 숨어 있다가 여기저기서 터져 나온다.

행복을 끌어안으려 할 수록 불행의 크기는 행복을 압도하여 끝내 조금이나마 남아있던 행복마저 삼켜버린다. 참 웃기는 일이다. 행복에 가까워지려 할 수록 불행해 진다니. 문제는 행복'만'을 포용하려 한다는 것이 아닐까. 나의 결점까지 끌어 안았을 때 비로소 진짜 행복을 찾을 수 있는 것이 아닐까.
