So apparently drawing by hand with stylus on a graphic tablet is much easier than with finger on a screen. Shocker. Also I'm trying out new art style. So have a bunch of DnD characters I haven't played as yet and I will be using them to my portfolio for college, but they have a bunch of lore.

Characters:

Snake/lizard-like creature: Yet unnamed, it was supposed to be bush viper yuan-ti, but yuan-ti don't have both legs and tail, they're mainly tail or just legs, so there's this creature now. Probably a mix between a lizardfolk and yuan-ti.

Kobold: His name is Zap, he's a wild magic sorcerer who got his name by accidentally electrifying another kobold as soon as he hatched. I'm not sure what he will be hoarding yet, since I've read somewhere that kobolds hoard random stuff, but he will probably hoard sticks because sticks are cool.

Drow: His name is Valdrin, he's a disaster rogue and he's a part of Bregan D'Aerthe. (Cliché, I know, but I swear he's not edgy. He's just dumb sometimes.) Also random fact about him: He can run in 6 inch stilettos as s result of a drunken bet.

Anyway, I've got a bunch of stuff on my phone that I'm working on, but also stuff on PC, so there will be in future posts combination of art styles. Also Photoshop works differently than Ibis Paint X.

Love how Victor Vallakovich remains instantly recognizable in every fanart despite not even having a portrait in the book. Every single one of us read about him locking himself in the attic and his shitty father and unethical magical experiments and skeletal cats and instantly went "ah yes I know that guy" and then we as a community collectively visualized him looking like That

I do think it would be a very funny fic to read where the magic reveal happens at the perfect intersection of Arthur trusts Merlin implicitly, and Uther is still alive and a raging asshole, and Arthur’s solution isn’t to nobly send Merlin away and pine miserably. Oh no. He finds a medieval fantasy version of a squirt bottle and squirts Merlin with it whenever Arthur catches him using magic like Merlin is a cat that keeps trying to chew electric cords.
