random until dawn hcs that most are probably just self projecting but whatever

- mike favorite cake is carrot, but its more of a like he tried it once thing and it was so good it was deemed favorite yet he doesnt have it EVERY time he eats cake

- sam doesnt have a sweet tooth, never really did. and no its not exactly cuz of the stereotype of being the health girl and that shes vegan and stuff but rather that it just makes her feel sick

- mike doesnt like watching movies. not that he doesnt want to watch them, but he just literally cant focus on them. his attention span for film is low. he’d have to be heavily interested in the movie or show for him to sit through it (for example if it was based off a game he liked)

- the washingtons had a pet rabbit when josh, hannah and beth were way younger. they dont know what happened to it.

- ashleys supposed to wear glasses (lazy eye runs in her family) but when she first got them she was too little to really understand why they gave her headaches or hurt wearing when adjusting.

- mike has really good hugs. like - strong and warm. the type of guy to hug you and it hurt sometimes cuz he squeezes too hard

- jess has a soft spot for farm animals, but doesnt really like the environment of farms.

- matts really picky about meat. he likes it, but fat really bothers him. thats also why he hates steak. its way too chewy for him.

- josh likes a lot of pastas

- mike has alexithymia

- mike gets a service dog postgame named after wolfie :)

- sam really enjoys horror documentaries and true crime podcasts.

- ashley really likes owls. someone showed her one wet though once and she was terrified

- both matt and mike like hamilton, but they dont know that.

(matt liking hamilton is mostly a nod to jordan, and mike as a nod to brett being so huge for theater and the fact that mike was class prez. history dude)

- when emily was young (like tween) she tried dying her hair blue, but it turned out kind of green and was really disappointed

- as a nod to the until dawn prototype, mikes middle names scott.

until dawn characters and what I think their favorite drinks are/what they prefer to drink in general

mike - cherry cola and fanta. not that its what he drinks all the time, usually just a dinner thing between the two (water until around that time.) some kind of coffee used to be his go2 when he was class prez but it started making his stomach hurt so he just switched off of it

chris - mountain dew sometimes, then iced tea and water for most of the time. he doesnt like warm beverages, besides hot chocolate, thats okay. ESPECIALLY hates drinking hot water.

josh - pibb. he doesnt like dr pepper much anymore, in fact he used to like dr pepper so much his taste buds memorized almost the exact taste, and for some reason it started to taste too sweet to him. something changed in how they make it, he thinks

sam - fresca with a little orange juice mixed with it. not all the time, rather a treat to herself! other then that water and tea :)

ashley - pink lemonade and coffee :3

matt - dr pepper, he doesn’t know what josh is talking about.

emily - water and pepsi

jess - also a fanta lover, but one of her favorite things to do is make smoothies and stuff. she really likes smoothies.

I’m tired. And I need to say this just so that it’s forever here on this blog. Im not looking for beef with fans, I genuinely mean no harm to any actual living real people when I say this but:

Emily Davis, they could never make me not hate you.

I’ve seen the takes, I’ve read character analysis stuff that was brilliantly written, I’ve had amicable enough talks with people who do love her, I’ve tried to see things from her perspective and it just has not helped. It’s not a personal attack on any real people, I just cannot have a good time when she’s on screen, it’s just a matter of personal preference I think.

I’m only saying it because even though I want my silly stupid content to be accessible for everyone and overall just good vibes, I know that my stance on her will affect my writing and if anyone wants to block me to keep me out of their search I TOTALLY SUPPORT THAT.

every time someone hates on ashley or abi for being “too whiny” an angel loses its wings. newflash: anxious people WILL become more anxious when faced with supernatural threats!! 😨😨 crazy i know. plus, if all the characters acted the same yall would be complaining that everyone is too bland. our scream queens add to the game, let’s cherish them 🙂‍↕️

People don't actually give Ashley credit for the brave things she does in the game. Yes, she can leave Chris for dead but she's also the reason he can even survive in the first place?? The Stranger told all the kids to stay in the basement and not leave under any circumstance, yet Ashley decides to wait right by the door waiting for Chris to come back.

She also can split up from Chris to look for Sam or go off alone to search for Jessica. Sure, neither of these actions result in her saving anyone, but can't the same be said for Chris going to get Josh? People praise him for that (as they should) even though he failed to rescue Josh and the mission led to the Stranger getting killed.
