"So ya just...change ya appearance?" Angel didn't know of any sinners whos powers were like that, it was definitely a new one by him. The accent would be caught too and he laughed slightly. "Huh, ya sound like a new yorker."
She hadn't shifted unwillingly in years. Fuck.
"Yeah, it's me." She said weakly while trying to get herself together.
She reached for her phone and turned on the camera, surprised at the face in front of her.
"She's new. No wonder it hurts so much." She mumbled to herself. Taking in her new face before remembering Angel.
"Sorry. Yeah. This is my "power". I think it's more of a curse because if fucking kills. Haven't shifted unwillingly in a while. I should have clocked it with how shit I felt." She tried to explain. Frowning as she noticed her accent. Same as Angel's.

”So fast daddy.” Angel ”praised” with playful awe as he was tugged to his feet. He knew his role right now and he could play it well to keep Val happy. He hated how much he craved it too, starving for any spec of positive attention from the other. This was the best he got so he knew he had to savour it.
He climbed back into Val's lap to return back to straddling the other, grinding as he settled himself back down at his urgency.
”Am I pretty?” He asked, leaning close to Val’s face lips not quite touching.
Watching with a familiar intensity in his gaze, Val moved his hand to move around Angel's throat, fingers pressing lightly to feel each swallow that he made in order to follow his demand. It's only when he'd pulled back that Val releases the breath he hadn't realised he'd been holding, drawing his hand back and wrapping his fingers firmly around Angel's wrist to tug him upwards, evidently now not caring whatsoever about their audience at this point.
"Want you to ride me." He groans out, near enough clawing for Angel to come back to sit on his lap. "Very good. You're always so good for me, Angie." His claws dig in a little, indicating some impatience, even despite having just cum. "Take your reward."

”I ain't much fer cards either. But I like winnin'.” Angel replied. Despite his involvement with the gambling demon...Angel didn't play and definitely not against Husker. But he knew better ways to win than to play there.
”Your clothes can stay on, but maybe mine won't.” He jested back, not serious in the slightest. Not in a game with a gal and his brother anyway.
Cheryl was a little bit nervous at the sharp look but she made herself relax as he spoke.
"Seats always available. Can't play poker to save my life but I am a master at go fish. Happy to provide some entertainment. Especially when my clothes can stay on for once." She joked.

Val having a temper didn't matter, where he directed it was where it mattered. Angel definitely wasn't great with his own emotions either, he too could get angry, be petty and bitchy. It did not absolve the past or make him deserving of how Valentino had treated him however, but he too did have things to work on...they could grow together - right? The other's words would cause Angel's own eyes to well up, but he did his best to blink them away as Val got them both to their feet. The soft honesty just shook him to his core. "Niffty would probably have a great time in here..." He would nod, an attempt of a jest that would also agree with Val that it was a mess. "I could help? Or if ya would rather be alone...maybe come find me later...I can make us dinner?"
His chest deflated with a heavy sigh but Val still gave a nod to signal that he wanted to change. Even though it might be impossible for him to shed all those destructive behaviors instilled into him since childhood. The urge to rage wasn't likely to ever disappear but maybe he could learn to control it. To rein himself back in when he tumbled too close to the edge. Trying was the least he could do.
ཐིཋྀ "I want to be worthy of your love...", he admitted quietly, voice trembling with raw emotion,
"... I want to make your afterlife the best it can be. I wanna help you achieve redemption or whatever else you set your mind to. I mean it, Angie. You are... you are everything to me."
His two upper hands covered his face, wiping remnants of tears away before red eyes focused on the spider's expression. His own filled with earnest admiration.
"You deserve every ounce of happiness this world has to give."
In his words, Val rediscovered his strength, his momentary breakdown replaced by a renewed sense of purpose. Slowly, he rose from the floor, lifting Angel up with him by holding his hands.
"I'm gonna clean up this mess.", he said firmly, referring to both the chaos in his room and his personal issues,
"I'll see you later. Be careful where you step. This will take a while."
