First Boss Nest Destroyed
Boss nests have been out since Client 119. Today, one finally spawned in an area with a fence without a boss that can one-shot me.
Area: 1D from SB (1054x988).
Bosses: 2x Flaming Mother, 2x Flaming Wraith, 2x Flaming Giant Spider, 1x Flaming Flesh Hound.
Loot: RG6, K-50M, Grinder, STEEL MS800, Nodachi, Red Mesh SLX, SW 500 (3/0/0).
I made it through the bosses without taking damage. I was looting them when an Irradiated Black Rumbler finally landed a hit.

First DH Kill
A Devil Hound spawning in the Inner City is not something I’d fight without a massive speed boost and a fenced area close to SB. It’s safer to just buy Devils Hearts from the marketplace.
Today, all conditions were met. There’s a 65% speed boost for the weekened and the DH spawned 4R of SB, where there are four tennis courts.
It still took me the better part of an hour to bring it down with the Barnell RF31 and Torchbolt.
Too much work. I’ll just go back to buying them from others.

BT Kill 2
Fought another regular Black/Charred Titan today in the same block as the FBT. Killed it using the same method.
All it gave was a 2/3/5 Machete.

First FBT Kill
There was a Flaming Black/Charred Titan one block east of SB. I finally worked up the courage to fight it.
I won, even if I had to play solo and use the fences as a barrier. The FBT took hundreds of bolts from the Torchbolt before I saw its model change to red. At that point, I switched to the Barnell RF31 and finished it off.
All I received was a Reactive XT800 with +1 Agility, +11 Endurance. What a waste of time! I could’ve made as much money in less time by looting the stores across the street from SB. That only takes eleven or twelve minutes without any boosts.

Torchbolt
After months of saving up, I managed to buy a Torchbolt.
Most people use them to loot DR. The only accounts I have with 120 Rifle skill are farmers. I don’t have time to travel that distance without risking the daily production.
That’s why I plan on using it as an OA weapon. Trials have been encouraging; a critical hit still kills Long Arms and Flesh Hounds, the most dangerous enemies during aggro. I kept picking off two or three enemies before needing to reload. Even if the Barnell hits harder, it can’t do that, and I no longer need to switch weapons to deal with zombies that make it through the fence or bushes.

Harvester of Sorrow
It took an entire year’s savings to craft the Harvester of Sorrow scythe. The main problem was the low drop rate of the three parts.
At this rate, I won’t be able to buy the Torchbolt. I still haven’t been able to amass enough cash between events to get the Desert Rat.

First Charred Titan Kill
Against my better judgment, I fought a Charred Titan at 1053x984. This isn’t the first time I’ve fought one, but it is the first time I killed one.
The battle was terrible. It almost clipped through the sports court I was using as a barrier. Damned trees.
Due to the 50% Damage Boost this weekend, I managed to shoot it full of crossbow bolts and grab its loot.
All I got was an MC black Mesh RX-2 (+13 Agility, +2 Endurance). I earn more than this for less risk from the lower-tier bosses.

I finished Mutate Away for the first time yesterday. The fences in the southwest quadrant of 1058x981 helped a lot.
My crossbow picked off enough for 14 blood samples. I only took as many as needed because their scrap value is next to nothing. Even a bag of Mixed Nuts scraps for $505, over 33 times what I’d get for something I can’t even sell.
I also picked up a Wood Axe somewhere along the way home. It got scrapped.

Finally, a chance to test the Hailstorm. Six Flaming Rumblers spawned 1U from SB.
Results were underwhelming. The mobs kept blocking my shots and it took forever to clear them. I managed to kill five of the bosses with the Hailstorm, but with the last one, I switched back to the crossbow because it was getting close to my farmers’ production time.

I recently bought a Hailstorm C12 from the market. The cheapest GC the first time I checked was $39 million. When I took a look at a later time, it had been taken off the market, either sold or withdrawn.
The next cheapest was $41 million. I could have afforded it, but after all the shots I’ve fired with the Barnell RF31 and the Worg Carbine on another account with 120 Rifle skill, why do I need +8 accuracy? It was better to focus on critical hit and reloading buffs. As a result, I saved $4 million.
Yesterday, I fought five Flaming Rumblers 4R from SB. No pics this time; I had enough trouble keeping the zombies in the tennis courts at bay.
Loot: 1 M60 1 XM8 1 Mesh RX-2 1 Wood Axe
The Wood Axe was scrapped once I returned to SB.
When I left for Power Trip, I found an M60, an XM8, and a Reactive XT800.

Dead Frontier’s V68 was a mess.
Yesterday, I did Firearm Shortage on all accounts at SB. On my third run, I encountered an aggro spike, which I killed. I entered an area with a boss on my way home and promptly left. That caused another aggro spike, which I also killed.
By that time, I’d lost my bearings and entered another area. It turned out to be the boss zone from before, so I got out with horde #3 running me down. Somehow, I made it back to the Bunker without taking a hit, at which point, I was hit by the anti-cheat bug that affects melee users and suspended for 24 hours. Yeah, that’s right: I killed those aggros with melee.
Anyway, the mission on the rest of the accounts ended without incident.
Today, I fought the Flaming Rumblers 1D from SB. Five spawned; four were lootable. My plan was to pick them off with the crossbow, but they made the worst possible decision and entered X-Hammer range.

Two Flaming Mothers 1D from SB. The fenced-in basketball court seemed like a good place to test the difference between ~85 and ~110 Reload for the crossbow.
Loot:

OA or Flaming Rumblers 1U from SB? I chose the latter.
Only three spawned even after several minutes of running around. I didn’t need to waste any ammo because fighting was often within melee range and the rest was shooting at zombies on the other side of the southern block’s fences with the Barnell RF31.
Loot: 1 Machete 1 Mesh RX-2 1 Desert Fox

Two Flaming Mothers (1U1L) dropped FM MAGs, one MCed with +5 Accuracy, on my way to collect fuel for Power Trip. Their hordes broke my armor and left me in serious condition.
At the mission site, I managed to heal to full health with scavenged meds. Then I took another hit and had to loot even more meds.

Two Flaming Titans down. Got a Reactive SLX and a kukri from them. Scrapped them for $29,100.
I would’ve made more in less time just by raiding the block of shops to the west of the bunker.
