[OCs] finished all of them now!! still subject to change ofc, but i'm pretty happy with it 😭

this took me a few months to fully conceptualize, but i'm glad i did! a lot of these guys are just background fodder, but i still wanted to know them as characters, and it helped me to flesh out the world a lot, both in the visual sense and lore

and also it's just fun!! hope you enjoyed looking at them too, prommy i will not be normal about them

Steve can’t talk when he’s fully shifted but that doesn’t stop him from trying, or making noise at the least.

Later on when Steve is driving Dustin home, he finds himself asking the kid if he really does look like a fat muppet. Dustin Stares at him for a moment before cackling in laughter, shaking his head and smiling before he notices the look of dismay on Steve’s face.

Dustin just blinks at him and Steve finds himself trying to casually shrug if of. He knows it’s a stupid fucking question, but he’s generally concerned that he’s not that much of a werewolf, especially if everyone keeps telling him he looks and acts like a big puppy. Normally he’d rather not be a werewolf at ALL, but what was the point if he couldn’t use it to help protect the kids, his family, the people he gave a shit about?

What use was a big dumb dog when as Demogorgon came charging in, soaked in bloods and guts as it tore everyone into chunks?

Thankfully Dustin isn’t stupid and actually smacks Steve on the side of the head and is like, STEVE you’re a FUCKING WERWOLF. There is nothing about that, that isn’t Bad ASS! It makes Steve smile a bit before he retaliates by pulling the rim of Dustin’s hat over his face.

Later Dustin make up little tests with the group to gauge Steve’s abilities. It’s a good idea, but it also helps Steve confidence and they end up actually having a lot of fun and becoming a rare moment of happiness for the group.

As for Steve’s fear of being usless, it never happens. Demogorgon’s are a hell of a fight and Steve’s gonna get hurt, but he stubborn and wins, the real problem though is humans. When the army tries to kill El and in extension the rest of the group, he goes nuts. He finds it scary how easy it was for him to kill them, how he can still taste the muscle and feel the tug of ripped flesh against his and teeth.

For almost a weak he can’t eat after, but after an honest talk with Hopper, and an endless supply of Eggo’s from El he’s able to keep his food down.

columbo villains are addicted to logically explaining why they can’t be the killer. columbo will ask them a question and they can never be like omg I have no idea I was in shock, they always gotta be like. ah, lieutenant, I assume I must be your prime suspect since I stood to inherit my great-uncle’s litter of solid gold puppies? well just to clear that up, old man George the puppy smelter can tell you that I entered the barn at precisely 11:53 so I could not possibly have been at the scene of the crime when someone murdered my poor great uncle at 11:55. also I’ve been carrying around this letter which proves that I won’t inherit the puppies anyway just in case you asked me such an insulting question
