Belated #mermay art, again featuring Isca! this time with a maraquan snarhook!

I like how the Curse of Maraqua plot doesn't sanitize piracy as much as a lot of other media

Like, yeah, Garin is our main character...but he still robbed A WEDDING at swordpoint. And Isca is unable to convince him to leave piracy behind, to her frustration.

Come to think of it, a LOT of Neopets protagonists are or were thieves... Hanso, Nabile, Tomos, Garin...even King Skarl.

I did a redraw of that one Maraquan colouring page with Caylis. I collaged a stock image of a saltwater reef tank with photos of scallops and a pearl. The mermaid and the bubbles I did in Sketchbook app (formerly autodesk sketchbook). I love CSP but collage work is way too cumbersome when you need to import every piece.
