Each of these are set to Bounce play mode (not to be confused with Bounce keyframe interpolation).

As you can see, the step from Sine to Quadratic is barely perceptible. The jump to Circular is pretty big The step to Exponential is small Elastic and Back both contain 'overshoot' - meaning the value range needs to be larger IF you were to have them land in the same relative position as the others. Nothing really to note about Bounce, you can see it for yourself!

I thought it might be an interesting way to check the progress of some generative content in Resolume Arena, by recording some out without any music and then watching it to very different tracks.

Here's 3 that I thought landed quite well - a bit over the top in places but I'm not bothered about that. It's more about how the general patterns are working with each other.

I'm mostly selecting clips and layer blending, not often as a lot of the clips hold their own for a while. Some layers have a transition blend on too. I've got a bit of global Trails and Delay RGB in there too but otherwise all of it is in the clips themselves.

If anyone's interested to know about the colour... I've got a bonus lesson in the Envelopes masterclass that runs through a really versatile workflow for colour management within Resolume. It's most powerful with generative content, at least in my experience, but the really simple principle behind can work with even one or 2 sets of colour control in your live set. B

Random Tip! use a Shaper *effect* (not a source) inside a clip, set that shape/s to black and design yourself a highly dynamic animated mask for rest of the content inside the clip, just remember to *set the clip itself to 50Add* so that the solid black from the Shaper effect becomes a mask and not a solid!)

A nice jammy jam WITHOUT any music! I know that sounds weird but trust me, it's good for your work ;)

It reminded me of this track I hadn't heard it in years so I slapped it on, no edits!

This isn't just rolling generative stuff, I was VJing the layers and colours and the odd effect just a to a general pace instead of actual music.

It is 100% native Resolume Arena
