Cosplayers! I'm a tailor who loves anime and attends Anime Milwaukee. For the upcoming AMKE2020 I've hinted a couple of times at running a contest to give away: -1 FREE custom tailored cosplay (clothing only) of your choice, hand made to your measurements, and; -1 FREE custom resin badge holder coordinating with your character, made by my good friend Caitlin at Geeky Lolita Designs. (https://www.facebook.com/Geeky-Lolita-Designs-163360324361826/) You pay NOTHING. Even shipping is on me. No CC required. Standard pricing typically starts at $300-400. I just *really* like you guys in this community. All you have to do to enter is to give me AND @geeky_lolita_designs BOTH a follow here, then comment on this contest post who you'd cosplay if you win, why you like that character, and what they mean to you. That's it. The contest will run for 7 days, then Caitlin and I will pick our favorite next Wednesday, July 31st. You should know before submitting: 1) I'm a tailor. I work with fabric. I will not be providing FULL cosplay. I cannot make or provide: full-armor cosplay, wigs, shoes, weapons, or some non-fabric accessories. I will make or customize anything I can, but I have my limitations. Please don't be mad at me when you receive your shipment and it doesn't include these items (especially since the winner will receive clear communication on what will be included and what will not be). 2) In order to be efficient and courteous to the other cosplays I have to accommodate between now and the event in February, I will need your measurements in a timely manner. Have a friend do them, visit a tailoring shop, or if you're local you can find a way to meet up with me personally, or I can help you over a video call. *If you cannot provide me with measurements within 30 days of being notified as the winner, I will be forced to move on to the next choice.* I'll post progress updates once I begin the making process, so all entrants stay tuned until then! 3) Got through the contest and didn't win but still want a great deal on a great cosplay?
