Hey everyone, sorry for the long wait.

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you guys know about a few things, so I hope you take the time to read this. This post is about my long absence from the internet: I was focusing more on my personal life, and also I was busy in college (6 classes type of busy, for those wondering college is much harder than K-12 where I live at least). I was not dead, or anything like that (In case you guys worried) I was genuinely tired of the internet, and I was extremely burnt out, and not to mention my mental health was completely shit! (Excuse my profanity), like seriously I was attending both counseling and therapy, not to mention I had to switch my meds earlier this year. and My mental state was the worst it's ever been! So I took some time to myself to try and get my mental health back in shape. In addition, I was not my best, I was so damn burnt out that I didn't want to post regularly or even at all! So I took a very long break to try and recover. I am sorry if I worried the Mascotverse community or anyone, it genuinely wasn't my intention. I also have an announcement regarding my stay in the Mascotverse community.. I have decided to step away from it, I will still post about mascots, but I just need to step away from the community, (Except for @cuddleslover1738, you're cool-), I am going for more of a Indie content creator type thing, as well as add more topics on things I like! But no, I am not joining commentary, or the ACC (Those two places are a mess in my opinion, it's my opinion, based on the major drama that happened starting with the Creepshowart drama, all the way to now, the JAR drama) (And if he is reading this: (Somehow but I doubt it) dude as an Autistic person, please stop blaming your Autism for something you KNEW you were doing, it gives not just me, but all of the genuinely good people and content creators who have it a bad name! And the reason people are saying "You rizzed up a P--o" is because you literally were, and you didn't even do the fuckin' research! (And, about my tweet from last year I no longer support Birdie/Jack, he's a fuckin' creep he (Need I remind you) Made a meme that Portrays MAPS (Minor Attracted PDFs (Please don't look that up if you're a child, that shit isn't good by any means)) In a POSITIVE LIGHT! And I am genuinely sorry for not doing more research on this topic before tweeting that, I genuinely hope the people who gave their money to him get their money back! I know I should've said it sooner as soon as the stuff on him started to come out, but I just wanted to get that out of the way now, But please don't support Birdie/Jack/Whatever the fuck they go by now, and please do proper research before you tweet for a cause like that, and I have been doing proper research since the tweet offline so ye-). And also one more thing: I will not be tweeting about just one specific topic any more, I will be posting more topics besides Mascots, and to sum it all up: I am not apart of the Mascotverse Community due to: Burn out, Toxic Drama, Lack of motivation, College, bad mental health, as well as wanting to Branch out from just the mascot community, to everyone who is shocked I am leaving, please know this was coming at some point, and thatI just needed to accept that, also I still like mascots, but I just won't be apart of the mascotverse community, happy valentine's day, have a good night/day/afternoon, and I will post sometime later.

Whether you’re a devotee or a worshipper, you’re not always gonna be at your best, and there are gonna be times - maybe lots of times - where you may not feel you can give 100% to your deities. You may not even be able to talk to them at all.

That’s why I LOVE devotional jewellery or any other kind of devotional item that you can carry with your person. Just the simple act of putting on a necklace or a ring or something similar is such an amazing way of showing your deities “hey, I’m still here. I still love you. I still carry you with me.“

In order to show my support for palestine, I thought I would make a post— in typical bird nerd fashion— highlighting some information about one of the many symbols of freedom for the palestinian people: the palestine sunbird.

you’ve seen this bird everywhere lately I’m sure,

so, you may be wondering.. why is this bird so important?

In 2013, Israel campaigned to remove ‘palestine’ from the bird’s name. this failed, however, when the palestine wildlife society (PWS) petitioned to instead adopt it as palestine’s national bird as a direct defiance of the campaign.

in 2015, the palestine sunbird was officially declared the national bird of palestine.

the palestinian artist khaled jarrar designed a border control stamp featuring the sunbird with which he stamped passports as a cry for freedom.

more recently, khaled jarrar has also created these postal stamps for the same message— in defiance of israel’s efforts to erase palestine.

here you can find an incredible, short documentary detailing his work across the years to use his art as a protest against the plight of the palestinian people.

another palestinian artist, rasha eleyan, uses the sunbird in her work as a motif for the strength and boldness of palestinian women:

the palestinian poet tamim al-barghouti has tied the palestine sunbird’s beauty to resilience, in saying: “whenever you face injustice or roughness, remember to defend yourself by finding beauty… document, prove, and defend it because all beauty is resistance.”

the palestine sunbird is a symbol of hope and strength. It’s a symbol of fighting back against the odds and refusal to go quietly into the night— refusal to be erased.
