She let out a groan. They’d had a sleepover at her house while her dad was away, and hadn’t settled down until after 3am. She pushed some empty candy wrappers off her as she sat up. “We’d better clean up, or my dad will kill me.”

Her eyes widen, embarrassed and caught red handed when Bonnie steps into the kitchen. Rebekah’s mouth falls slack trying to find a logical excuse about what she’s currently fanning a very charred dinner and dressed in a Bonnie always said to like on her. “Bloody hell” Rebekah huffs, a pout on her lips as she places the pan down a little too harshly on the granite counter. “Caroline swore she’d keep you busy for at least another hour!” Nothing is ready yet, it’s far from the vision that Rebekah wanted to make for her wife when she got home. She glances to the dinner table lit by candles and decorated in the finest china they had, “It was meant to be a surprise”

She’d just spent a couple of days helping her friends with more supernatural shit, and she ached all over and was exhausted.  Not to mention covered in grime and someone else’s blood. Then Caroline had started acting weird and wouldn’t let her go home, and seemed to be doing anything and everything to prevent her from doing so. Now she knew why. And it was so sweet. “I hope I haven’t ruined the moment by walking in and looking like this...” She said, slowly.
