Contrary to popular belief the biggest beginner's roadblock to art isn't even technical skill it's frustration tolerance, especially in the age of social media. It hurts and the frustration is endless but you must build the frustration tolerance equivalent to a roach's capacity to survive a nuclear explosion. That's how you build on the technical skill. Throw that "won't even start because I'm afraid it won't be perfect" shit out the window. Just do it. Just start. Good luck.

I love your art style!! I see you do a lot of digital art, but do you practice any physical as well? I saw in one of your talks posts that you mentioned painting?

Bit of a long answer, but I thought i'd try and answer this as best as I can. :)

Yeah I do work traditionally, more than anything else actually! Digital has been a bit of a side hobby for me that i'm trying to learn which i've keep primarily to my online socials, so all of my traditional work tends to exist outside of that. (Mostly professionally.)

I work as an artist in the themed entertainment industry for my day job, so I do traditional painting every day of the week! Aside from that, I really love working in all kinds of traditional mediums, though my heart truly lies in watercolor (and illustrative embroidery work!). As much as I've enjoyed experimenting and learning digital, I always return to working at least in my sketchbook if nothing else.
