When I was like 10-11ish, my friend introduced me to the tv series The Story of Tracy Beaker and when I watched it I was. like. obsessed. I became attached to it veerrry quickly. I loved the whole idea of a bossy and loud girl in a chaotic children's home who gets up to lots of antics (especially because I was around the same age as her when I first watched it). A few years later, I also watched Tracy Beaker Returns and The Dumping Ground. Since then, I have FELL IN LOVE with this franchise.

This series DOES actually have a fan base it's just that. nobody really likes it like I do?? People who are in the fandom usually like it for different reasons, like, (for the majority), childhood reasons — "oh do you remember this show when you were a kid! #british #throwback". Which I understand, but when you're someone like me who is a autistic teenage loser who easily gets obsessed over a show or game or even book after seconds of seeing it it's. different.

I like to imagine there's someone else out there who likes this show like I do, who ships ships OTHER than Jyler (Jody x Tyler, it's an adorable ship but it's like the ONLY known ship in the fandom and it's canon), who headcanons these characters and imagines them in cute little scenarios, who watches episodes they love over and over and over again. Because im losing hope. After this franchise has existed for over 30 years, it has barely ANY fanart. I have made looooots of fanart that I'm probably going to post on a separate tiktok account. Even though nobody would. care. I miiiiggght post them to Tumblr too... I just. really love this series. It makes me so happy.

I'm currently on S5 of TDG but I seriously think I'm not going to be able to watch it because Carmen, Tee, Bailey and MO💔💔💔 are gone 😕 Kaz is going soon too...sighhh. I guess I might watch for Ryan episodes cause they're really fun to watch unfold, howEEVVVERRR I heard S5 is when the show starts to get bad.... so.. I might be in the right about not watching it. Carmen and Tee's leaving episode was the SECOND leaving episode I almost cried at (the other being Gus's). I just. don't know if I can continue to watch the series without CARMEN AND TEE. LIKE WHAT??!
