It's amazing how quickly my top best scenes in history change! I thought that the garden scene from the last chapter would be my favorite for a long time, but…. Today's chapter was just mind-blowing! Ani is just my love! ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ This chapter made my heart beat happily and forget that I had a sad week!

I also saw comments about how many want a poly relationship between the reader, Ani and Padme, but I think it's impossible, simply because I don't think Ani is going to share the reader with anyone, even with Padme :)

Chapter 13:

FUCCCK MY HEART IS BEATING SO FAST, IT FEELS LIKE ITS GOING TO EXPLODE OUT OF MY CHEST. THIS ENTIRE CHAPTER HAS MY PULSE ELEVATED BEYOND THE ATMOSPHERE—ANAKIN PULLING US ALONG SUCH HIGH SLOPES AND DEEP LOWS IN A ROLLERCOASTER RIDE OF EMOTIONS.. I HAD TO TURN OFF MY PHONE/GO TO ANOTHER TAB AND SCROLL FOR A BIT TO CALM MYSELF DOWN. THIS CHPT IS SO GOOD AT THE PACING AND TENSION IN MULTIPLE SECTIONS OF VARYING SCENES???! HOW DID U DO IT??? AND I LOVE HOW U CONNECT BACK INFORMATION IN PREV CHPTS (The reward) AND U DONT FORGET ABT IT (i was thinking if you have, and then I myself forgot about it, only for you to surprise me back with it in such amazing timing); EVERYTHING FEELS SO THOUGHT OUT AND ON PURPOSE.

I literally have a document to help me keep track of my own plot cos I have so many things planned, and I have so much fun dropping little annoying hints as I go.

I loveee writing Anakin he's such a perfect clash of good and evil it's muah. I'm so excited for his perspective to gradually be revealed, I've had a few times when I almost dropped the bomb and ended up re-writing the scene because it was too soon.

There's a Padme scene coming up that I'm so excited for, I've had to stop myself spoiling it three separate times now, it's one of the scenes that inspired me to start the fic to begin with :>

Omg I pulled an all nighter reading your fic, it’s SO good!? I remember reading through the first chapter thinking how amazingly floored I was, then I was completely sucked in entirely. Oh the comforts of my bed, a day off from work/school, enjoying an amazing Star Wars fic is the best way to re-energize.

I love love this fic so so much: How you fleshed out different characters that I could tell apart their traits for who they are—you giving each character their own spot light to shine and balancing out their interactions with other characters—it makes the world feel more lived in and lively: Obiwan being a sweetheart, Ahsoka being her silly self, even making more OCs up with Emma!!!, etc., how there’s actual support for/from other women characters (makes me so sad whenever anakin fics paint Padmé as just an obstacle), the writing style is such a wonderful mix of gorgeous, serious tone settings and also humor (I can’t count how many times I giggled and kicked my feet with what transpired), and I just LOVE the first few chapters so much with the plot of language barrier. I think it’s such a compelling story arc where the characterization is only through physical movements and tone; forced to be in the same helpless state as the Reader being confused about the newness of it all—the misunderstandings, the desperation finding different methods to communicate, body language/facial expressions. SO SO GOOD!!! AND YOU STILL PORTRAYED THEM SO WELL!!!

The plot is so interesting too with how much mystery shrouds—I came up already with so many theories of why things are happening/how they’ll end (really hyping myself up for Anakin/Padmé/Reader endgame); I won’t add it though cause this ask is already so long/don’t wanna accidentally spoil newcomers T_T but I love when fics work out storylines in a multidimensional way with it’s varying complexities of “what is going on…”

Chpt 12 was so beautiful too with how you described the setting of the foliage and lighting, ooooh I am living within your fic!!

I can’t wait to see more of your future chapters and where you’ll lead the story—I’m so so excited (for more horrors Reader will face LMAO) 💗

Star Wars | Anakin Skywalker’s Cyborg Hand

Anakin’s first prosthetic was, like almost all replacement limbs, specially built for him. He was quite content that it was not covered by synthetic flesh. The droid-like appearance of its skeletal frame, complete with exposed wiring did not bother him in the slightest. When Anakin married Padmé Amidala, his new arm was still unmodified and carried no armour plating. The gold fingertips used electrostatic technology to create signals that were transmitted through a synthennet neural interface linked to Anakin’s own nervous system at the stump of his flesh-and-blood arm. The servos in the arm meant it was significantly stronger than a human arm, meaning Anakin had to be conscious of not accidently crushing things in his grip.

As with pretty much every piece of technology left in his care, it wasn’t long before Anakin began to modify his mechno-arm. He fitted to it armour plates which were shielded to prevent outside electric interference from disrupting its function. Although he wore a protective glove over it as a matter of course, one of Skywalker’s first changes was the addition of this armour. As well as additional strengthening golden supports to the forearm, Anakin added curving matt-black plates. To the back of the hand and the fingers, he added additional plating that allowed the hand to absorb – and dish out  – significant punishment before taking any actual damage. Anakin even modified the glove he wore, adding an auto-seal function at the cuff that ensured no liquids or even airborne corrosives could easily reach his mechno-arm components.

The realities of conflict meant that Anakin didn’t just carry spare parts for his cybernetic arm. He ensured that, as often as possible, he had access to a full replacement.

Eman Esfandi: My most interesting encounter was when I was first getting to my stunt rehearsals. They have a stunt gym, and one day, as I was stretching and warming up, I just heard two people going crazy with some choreography. You could hear their sticks and their steps. So I was just like, “Oh my God, this guy is so good.” And then they were like, “Eman, you ready to start?” And I’m like, “Yes! When do I get to do that stuff? That’s my goal now.” So it was really exciting to meet him, and for a lot of other people, that would’ve been an even more insane experience. I just didn’t totally recognize him at the time.
