I constantly manipulate everyone around me by calculating what would be the nicest thing to do in any given situation, making a point of doing it when it matters the most. This is supported by subtly, casually tailoring what I talk about to the person I'm speaking to, and saying what I think they may find funny or interesting. the really sick thing is I look just like a normal person and there's no way you can tell me apart from anyone. If I weren't such a monster I would be afraid knowing people like this are out there, but I know I'm on top and have nothing to fear.

What does dark empath even mean? Like, I see people clowning on it comparing it to pokemon and stuff but what do they actually think it means?

American woo spaces love to divide people into good and evil people. Temperate Christians versus Drunks and Masturbators, Capitalists versus Communists, Moral Majority versus Satanists. Empaths versus Narcissists is a contemporary form of this.

Empaths are highly sensitive people who are more attuned to the emotions of others. This is a clumsy term for the fact that people do generally have different levels of emotional intelligence and sensitivity. But that's not how Tiktok talks about it. According to spiritual life coaches on YouTube shorts, Empaths are akin to X-Men mutants. They are a petit-ubermensch, whose emotional psychological sensitivity makes them capable to better and more moral choices than others.

However! The empath is sensitive, and due to that sensitivity they are constantly preyed upon by the demonic Narcissists. When an instagram reel life coach talks about Narcissists, they don't mean the diagnostic concept. They mean a class of nigh philosophical zombies, inherently evil souls within a human shell with no interiority. They are incapable of compassion, conversation, or mercy, and deserve no kindness. Now, narcissism is a real psychological condition, but the pop-psych spectre of the narcissist has been exaggerated to the point of pandemonium. And I mean that literally. Some Christian groups have noticed the trend, and happily hopped on the e-bandwagon; preaching that narcissists are literal Christian demons complete with black eyes.

Our only line of defense? The Dark Empath. These are Empaths who use their sensitivity gifts to counter-manipulate the Narcissist scourge. They are the Batmans of the Empath world, internet psychomancers who gazed into the abyss and returned having mastered it. They make a lot of videos called shit like "Narcissists when you reveal you're a Dark Empath" and it's just someone mogging at the camera while phonk music plays. It's very silly.
