Can you write a short story about a tiger??

𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐬

No warnings, fake dating to lovers, fluff

This wasn’t how you expected to spend your summer, none of this was what you planned for but you don’t wish it happened any other way.

You were an up-and-coming interviewer who somehow got caught up with the one and only Twisting Tiger—a player in your all-time favourite soccer team—the men in red, Supa Strikas.

You’d been friends with Shakes from way back, before he was famous, but you’d never really met anyone else in his squad until a few months ago, when Spenza needed your help investigating Invincible United and how they were cheating—again.

Supa Strikas ended up winning, and you went out to celebrate with everyone at Cool Joe’s club. Eventually, everyone left, leaving you alone with Tiger. You never had a one-on-one moment with him until that night and when you finally did, you guys clicked. You understood each other in a way not many others did and you exchanged numbers.

You started texting, video calling, and spending time together.The rest of the squad didn’t know yet but they noticed how Tiger was always on his phone, smiling like an idiot, lighting up whenever it beeped. You were friends, nothing more yet he fell asleep on the phone with you whenever he was in the tour bus on the way to an away match, and you started coming to more of their games, supporting your friends—though it felt like you were there mainly for Tiger.

Fast forward a few months and Tiger scored a hat trick in a particularly difficult match against Iron Tank and you later went out to celebrate with him—no one else, just the two of you. He called you his lucky charm, and you spent the whole night laughing and having fun together. Little did both of you know about the paparazzi lurking in the shadows, spinning stories and twisting the narrative.

The next week you were all over the news, headlines and social media buzzing with rumours calling you “Tiger’s mystery girl” and his lucky charm. Rumours said you were dating, and Coach was fuming. Everyone else wanted details, and somehow, you and Tiger started fake dating. Coach needed a way to handle the rumours and it was good for your career.

The aquarium was definitely not your idea of a cool date spot. But then again, pretending to be Tiger’s girlfriend was not your idea of fun either. Still, here you were—wandering past tanks filled with glowing fish and jellyfish that looked like they belonged in a sci-fi movie.

Tiger was walking beside you, hands shoved awkwardly in his jacket pockets, trying to look chill but totally not pulling it off.

“So,” you said, trying to break the silence, “do you think anyone’s actually buying this whole ‘we’re a couple’ thing?”He glanced sideways at you, a slow smile creeping in.

“If they aren’t,” he said, “then I’m doing a really bad job at acting. I mean, my hands are sweating under these gloves.” You noticed he was wearing these ridiculously thick black gloves—some stupid press idea to keep ‘mystery’ intact or whatever. You caught his fingers twitching nervously, and before you could stop yourself, you reached out and slipped your hand into his. He froze for a second, then squeezed back like it was the best thing ever.

“Hey,” he said half jokingly, voice quieter now, “don’t tell Coach, but this fake date is actually kinda nice.”

You laughed. “Same. It's fun for me too but don't expect too much, yeah? I’m bad at secrets.” You joked back, causing him to chuckle slightly.

You walked together, hands still linked, past the jellyfish tank glowing with eerie blue light.“Look at those jellyfish,” Tiger said, pointing at the tank.

“They just float around like they own the place. Kind of like me on the field.”

You snorted. “Yeah, except you don’t sting anyone.”He smiled like an idiot before speaking, content with your weird conversation. “Not usually. ”You rolled your eyes with a small smile and continue walking with him, hand in hand and with a quiet peace between you.

You stopped at the starfish exhibit and Tiger’s eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store before you both slowly made eye contact, “Have you ever touched a starfish?”You made a face. “Nope, I imagine it would be slimy and kind of gross.” He seemed unaffected by your judgement and started trying to persuade you into touching a starfish, talking about how “life changing” it would be.

“I’m not touching a starfish, give it up.” You said while laughing with him, playfully pretending to be annoyed before you both dropped the topic and continued with your fake dating together.

For a few seconds, the buzz of the aquarium faded, and it was just you and Tiger, awkwardly smiling at each other, pretending for the cameras but maybe feeling something real.

At the exit, you saw the photographers waiting, cameras ready. “Time to put on the show,” you whispered, squeezing his hand.

Tiger’s grin turned mischievous. “Let’s give them something to talk about.”

After a while the pretending started feeling real, the hints of romantic tension between you started to blossom into… something. Everyone else was asleep or distracted and he was on a call with you while travelling in the tour bus—both of you were half asleep at this point but refused to hang up.

“Want to hear something random?” He asked quietly with a sleepy grin. You nodded happily while struggling to keep your eyes open.

“I’m curious now, go ahead.”

“Did you know,” he said, voice low, “that octopuses have three hearts? Two pump blood to the gills, and one pumps it to the rest of the body. When they swim, the heart that delivers blood to the body actually stops beating.”

You blinked. “Wait—so they stop their heart when they swim? That’s… kinda crazy.”

He gave a sleepy chuckle. “Yeah. It’s like… swimming literally breaks their heart but they keep on doing it. Romantic, right?”

You grinned into your pillow and nodded, feeling more awake. “Wow, okay, marine biology’s version of poetry.”

There was a pause. Not the awkward kind, but the kind that feels full of something warm. Comfortable.

A few weeks later Supa Strikas won the finals.You didn’t even try to fight your way through the crowd. You knew he’d find you.And he did—sweaty, breathless, grinning like a kid. Tiger ran up and scooped you into a quick, spinning hug before setting you down, hands lingering at your waist, grounding you in the chaos.

The stadium roared around you, but his eyes were locked on yours like none of it mattered. Your cheeks were warm, heart hammering in your chest as you looked up at him, trying not to smile too hard—and failing. Your lips tugged into something small and awkward and stupidly happy.His thumb brushed your wrist, featherlight, and you felt the world tilt.

He leaned in a little—then a little more. His forehead bumped gently against yours, and your breath caught. Your stomach did that ridiculous flip it always did around him.Then he kissed you.It wasn’t perfect. Your nose bumped his. You smiled against his mouth, a little shaky, unsure—until you weren’t.Because he kissed you like he meant it. Like he’d been holding back forever.

And you kissed him back.

Soft. Sweet. Nervous. Real.

And just like that, it wasn’t pretend anymore.

Heyyy, sorry for the long hiatus but exams and stuff have been killinggg me. I'm back now and I would love to write things but I need more specific requests as I haven't done this before.

Another firm believer of private not secret

It's not that he's ashamed of you or anything, it's actually the complete opposite

I feel as if he'd mention you in interviews a lot, sharing funny stories about all the trouble you two get in. He'd love talking about you but he's just not the type of guy to open up a lot about his private life so he'd definitely withhold some details about your relationship from the public

Speaking of trouble, you guys would probably be like partners in crime

Yk how Spenza is always investigating the other super league teams? I feel like you two would do that together occasionally

Type of guy to troll on roblox with you

He's always dragging you out of your comfort zone and trying to convince you to try new things but he never forces them onto you

I can definitely picture you featuring in his reality TV show that he got in that one episode

On days where you want something calm you guys would probably do something like having a picnic on the beach

Definitely complains about Liquido to you, you guys would be gossip buddies

Always holding your hand, whether you're on a date, at home alone, at Cool Joe's club with the rest of the team or laterally anywhere else, his hand WILL be holding yours

He probably plays boardgames with you and gets super competitive

Loves cuddling and he's probably super warm so it's a bit irritating in the summer but he makes up for basically almost giving you a heatstroke by always taking you to the most thoughtful dates

He probably gets really clingy when he's sick and may or may not have kissed and gotten you sick at least once

He felt bad after but made up for it eventually

Amazing listener, he probably loves hearing your voice

He's extremely loyal

He's probably your hype man, if you don't like someone then he doesn't like them as well and will give them the most disgusting side eye possible every time he sees them

Overall just an amazing boyfriend except for the fact that he probably likes biting you

Not big bites, just small nibbles while cuddling

Probably has photos of you in his phone case and in his locker at Strikaland

That's all I could think of for him, this is unedited and I'm writing at 1am with the flu so I can focus on a Dancing Rasta request so bare with me here. I'm not really a North Shaw girl so it took me a while to think of anything

A relationship with him would definitely start off as a secret, I don't view him as the type of person to share much about his personal life

A relationship with him would be in two words, intense and passionate

He's a lady's man, women flock to him as seen in a few episodes in the show so it would be easy for him to charm you but I don't view him as the type of guy to have a long term relationship

Don't get me wrong, he's not scared of commitment or anything of that sort but he has a lot going on in his life

Soccer, music and his club take up a lot of his time so he's a bit too busy to maintain a relationship and he's also a very emotionally reserved person

If you do manage to catch his attention well enough and it leads to a long term relationship with him, he would be 100% commited to you

He's an extremely loyal person and also an all or nothing guy as seen with how much effort and dedication he puts into soccer

He'd always be looking for you in the crowd whenever he's playing soccer or performing music, always playing better when he sees you

He's the type of guy to write songs about you but he'd keep the lyrics subtle, he'd always look directly at you in the crowd while performing and it would be like a private moment for you two that everyone else is completely oblivious to

He probably likes dancing with you at his club or when he's alone with you in the privacy of either of your homes, records playing in the background as you both dance and talk about any and everything, the atmosphere would be calming and relaxing

He'd probably have late night walks with you whenever one of you guys couldn't sleep and it would lead to the best talks of your lives

The day your relationship goes public would be after the last match of the season, he'd see you in the crowd cheering for him, a bright smile on your face as you look at him and he'd run up to you in front of everyone, not hesitating to pull you into a hug and lay his head on your shoulder. He'd look into your eyes silently for a few seconds, both of you feeling as though it's just the two of you present in the stadium for a moment and he'd think of how much he loves you, how much you mean to him and he'd kiss you in front of the whole world. He'd leave you speechless and then run back to the team to go collect the trophy

A few dates you guys would go on would be going to concerts, dancing together or having picnics at the beach and listening to records together

I feel like he'd also love spa day dates where you both relax at home and take care of your hair(I don't think he'd love them as much as a specific striker with a ponytail that I've yet to write about would though)

I mean have y'all seen his afro? It puts mine to shame so I'm sure whatever he's doing for his hair workssssss

I wanna say he'd have you as his phone wallpaper but that's not really possible with his phone lol

His love language is probably quality time and words of affirmation

I could probably come up with a lot more things but I think I'll end it here because I have an exam tomorrow and I'm still not asleep (insomnia will be the death of me 😭) I'm currently working on dating hcs for North Shaw and Dancing rasta but feel free to request anything and I'm also considering writing one shots but I don't know if people would be into that

Another private not secret guy when it comes to your relationship

Not big on PDA but definitely holds your hand and does small gestures that show that he loves you whenever you guys are in public

He would probably like stargazing with you at the beach

He's the type of guy to be staring at you instead of the stars and then say something about how beautiful the view is (ik it's cheesy but I just genuinely see him doing that 😭😭😭)

He expresses himself very well and isn't afraid of getting sappy and cheesy if the moment calls for it

He's a very polite, well-mannered person so your family would love him

He's the type of guy to get flowers for both you and your mother

Romantic moments between you two are typically quiet, private and reserved for you two alone

He's a very responsible person, having to deal with Ura Giri so I feel as if sometimes he'd want to get into a bit of chaos with you

That's a side of him only you see and even then it took a few months of being together for him to show it

He's definitely more of a listener that anything so I imagine he'd like to hear you talk about your day, things that made you happy, work/school drama

Literally anything, he just likes hearing you talk and seeing the happiness on your face

Yk how Twisting tiger has a lucky charm necklace? I feel like he would have something similar but it would be matching with you

Probably got it for you as a gift on one of your first dates and it holds a lot of sentimental value to him

He's good at expressing himself except for when it comes to love

He rarely ever says I love you and instead prefers to do things for you

He probably takes the best photos of you

Like you genuinely look ethereal whenever he takes photos of you

Even though he takes good photos I feel as if he'd have a photo of you sleeping as his wallpaper

It's probably the most unfaltering photo of you but he loves it

I think he would have multiple albums of you and he likes to look through them whenever he's away for a long time

I could probably add a few more but I'm not that big of a Miko girl and I need to continue studying so I'll end it here

I feel like he's a firm believer of private not secret when it comes to your relationship

He absolutely adores you and he makes sure that's known by literally everyone but he doesn't go around sharing everything about your relationship, some things are just for you two and he doesn't want to share that part of his life with others

He bites, not enough to hurt you or anything but just like cute little nibbling yk?

Sometimes you wake up wrapped up in his arms with his face buried in your neck, his teeth digging into your skin ever so slightly

In the early stages of your relationship you rarely, if ever see him without his makeup on but as time passes and he gets more comfortable around you, he finally trusts you enough to be around you without it

I feel as if he'd like spending time together a lot, be expecting him to randomly go on long drives with you whenever it's raining or ask you to come dance in the rain with him

It doesn't matter if you can dance or not, he'd just like being close with you the whole time and wouldn't actually care about the dance, more so he'd use it as an excuse to make you laugh and spend more time with you

He absolutely adores you, he's genuinely whipped and he isn't ashamed of it too

Random kisses throughout the day

He's the type of guy to send you pictures of things that remind him of you whenever he's away for soccer matches

Definitely writes you love letters and sends you bouquets whenever he's away for too long

This one was inspired by someone else on here but he 100% wears rings and I feel as if he gets so happy whenever he sees you wearing any one of his rings

He'll probably give you his one or get you a matching ring depending on how much he likes the ring

Yk how I said he eventually let's you see him without makeup? I feel as if he'd also let you do his makeup for him, he'd honestly just be staring at you and smiling the whole time whether or not you do it well and would wear it to practice

He'd brag to the whole team about it and occasionally ask you to do his makeup again whenever you're both bored

He absolutely lovesssss physical touch, that might be the reason why he's always looking for excuses to be close to you

I feel as if he'd have lots of beauty marks on his face, they're normally covered by his makeup but you're one of the few people who see him without makeup on so you get to see them very often

He probably has long eyelashes, idk why but that's the vibe I get from him

He's probably extremely cold so he's like your living AC in the summer
