My Rantaro Amami analysis 

From my POV, Rantaro is a very mysterious character. No memory, no talent memory. He's very insecure about those things. He doesn't even trust himself. I'm sure that remembering him losing his 12 sisters made him feel even more horrible. Rantaro caught my interest with his design, personality, voice and backstory. 

From the freetime events in the game. Rantaro appears to have some self-hatred and self-esteem issues. He got offended at being called a "playboy” .In my POV, I think Rantaro may be either Aromantic and Asexaul or possibly even Gay. He never showed to be the type to be interested in dating much, especially dating girls. It's shown that Rantaro fakes his smile to push others away in his own way. He doesn't get irritated easily due to his laid-back nature, though it is still very possible to make him irritated because Shuichi made him irritated in the game before. He wasn't all laid-back as he tried to seem. He has the same level of fear as everyone else in the killing game. Rantaro also appears to be a secretive person since he hid his plan for so long, however, his plan hiding caused  both of them all to lose the chance to find the mastermind, and it caused his death. Since he was an older brother,he likely didn't get much comfort when he was younger, in fact, I don't even know if his and his sisters' and step sisters' parents even cared about them, especially when his parents just told him to give up on the search. He likely got so used to not having comfort that he pushed people away when they tried to get him to open up. In the game, there are some signs he may have depression. He hates himself and has severe low self esteem. 

My rating of Rantaro: 10/10

He’s my favorite in the game.I love his design, his voice, and his laid-back personality. The flaw I will point out with him is him having been so secretive that he caused his own death and the others to lose their chances of finding the mastermind. Another thing, him losing all his sisters was a bit too extra to add and a bit of a stretch, in my opinion. Other than that, he's a good character with a good design. He most definitely deserved to live longer.
