Had a nice ride out today. The longest ride I have done since 2017. Been a hard week on zwift so it was nice to be out. You expect cars to get a bit close on some of these roads but we always call them past so we know they are passing. The closest problem we had was 4 stupid cyclists. We are on the bottom road and they are coming down a fast decent to our left. All of a sudden I hear the front rider shout clear and 4 of them shoot up my leftside as I was about to move over. So it was not clear and if a vehicle had been there instead of us. This is the route for @prostatecymru The Big Cycle which you can find on Facebook it is about 74 miles on 14th August there is also a shorter route which is about 53 miles and misses out 2 of the climbs. I am so glad @infocrankpower took me on as a sponsor cyclist as it has made lots of different to my training. By using them I am finding it so much easier to pace myself while training and I can feel the improvement, but unless you know what you are doing it does help having a great coach @propellocycling. It's also great to see my pedal % so I know what is happening. Had a longer road ride yesterday so thought I would try the Aero socks. They started pulled up and stayed that way. I actually forgot I had socks on they were so comfortable and what I did not expect was how cool they kept my feet as normal suffer with problems with my feet. Also when the ride was over my feet were dry and sweat free. I was only going to use the Aero socks for racing but not anymore I will be using on most rides.
