She cleans obsessively to calm herself down and feel in control. I can't remember if it's canon or not, but her friends certainly joke about it as a tic she has.

Spock (Star Trek)

A personal headcanon of mine :> there’s not really anything to back it up in canon, so I don’t have any canonical explanation. HOWEVER. In my own headcanon world, I think that Spock’s obsessions/compulsions would be mostly (if not all) mental— most people couldn’t even tell anything was ever wrong— but if he did have physical compulsions, he would spend a LOT of effort hiding them (tapping, checking, etc.) This headcanon is mostly just a comfort thing BUT I still wanted to add him because I love this headcanon sososo dearly (as an OCD sufferer myself :’))))
