I'm genuinely so happy to hear that! I love that I'm making people smile and laugh, and I love making these silly posts.
I'm sorry that there be times where no new posts come in for a while.... I really appreciate the patience everyone has. I'm also sorry that I'm not going to be able to make more tonight like I said I would. I just don't have the energy. My work knows I'm going back to school in January so they're trying to milk out every hour they can from me until then so I'm just working 9 or 10 hour shifts everyday. The overtime pay is nice but this still sucks. I just go to work, come home, reblog some stuff on Tumblr, and go to sleep. Then repeat.
But I come in later on Friday and Saturday and I have Sunday off so either on Friday or Saturday morning or sometime on Sunday, I'll hopefully be able to make some more and queue them up.

I’m sorry I accidentally deleted your ask anon! I also really appreciate it!
I used to use FEFTS which is a program made to make support conversations but it’s a bit difficult to use and Photoshop is so much easier and it looks so better. But you do not need Photoshop specifically for this method. Any program like Clip Studio or Fire Alpaca or Gimp can do this as long as it can open a PSD file.
I have layers arranged like this. (Ignore the black bars, I just don’t want to spoil an upcoming convo) It has the background on the bottom, then the unshadowed character, then the group that gets shadowed, then the warm grey color that overlays for the shadow, then the textbox, then the main text, then the name boxes. The font used can be found here. The name boxes are size 12 and the main text is size 11.
I have the PSD file I can upload to show you guys and let you mess with it if you want.
The background and character portraits can be found at Spriters Resource. If you use my PSD then it already has the background, but I haven’t included other character sheets. They look like this.
