5 years ago, I have started my first Playthrough of FE Fates Conquest, so here‘s a drawing I made to mark my personal Milestone! (Yes that is my Fatesona Alice as Nohr Noble, but that is for aesthetic purposes only!). I haven‘t been able to move from Fates, not even 3H could kept me invested enough! I love the Nohrian Siblings very much <3

Out of curiosity have you had any thoughts on Katerina? Weird character to ask about, I know, I guess I've just been thinking about this game for a very long time.

I always wanted her to be someone with a kind heart and a strong will, who took no nonsense from the concubines during her lifetime and even tried to look after their children when they themselves would not.

But that's the fun thing about non-characters like this I suppose; we have absolutely nothing to go on and so she could be absolutely anything. Schrödinger's background character.

I would assume that Katerina was kind and loving with her son (Xander) and husband, but was absolutely hyperaware of the political machinations of the Nohrian courts. Even those who supposedly supported her (i.e. Camilla's mum, as Camilla told Azura in Revelations) she would have been extremely vigilant. She would have to be shrewd to survive.

She would be kind to all, and try to give all a chance, but I think she would always question people's motives and educate Xander to not be too trusting of others including his half-siblings. If he does form a genuine bond with others (say a particular Camilla) she would be weary initially, but genuinely wish all the best for Xander and Camilla. She certainly wouldn't be cold or rude to others. I think at worse she'd be passive aggressive to warn certain others to back off.

5 times Xander impressions please?

Guess who started writing this and is 2000 words into it? Me~! Also thank you for the ask!

So this is a fic (one-shot or multi-chapters to be seen) in which Xander makes impressions of his siblings (I decided not to use the 'first' as it technically may be incorrect) from oldest to youngest (Camilla, Azura, Leo, Corrin & Elise). His ages vary as a result, as does the siblings! Non-route specific, as pre-canon.

Camilla: Xander is 8, Camilla is 6. Xander is apprehensive to meet her face-to-face due to his experiences with other siblings and mothe--mistresses trying to kill him. His mother tells him to always be cautious around all, particularly family (and Camilla's mom is quite the shrewd type). He doesn't know what sibling love is; the fairytales say it is great, but he doesn't believe that. Then he and Camilla meet and... she's just as afraid as him? Maybe... maybe they can form a genuine sibling bond?

Azura: Xander is 12, Azura is 6. Xander is walking down a corridor and he hears and sees from around the corner some noble children ganging up on Azura, intimidating her and being jerks. He should help her... but he mustn't. Being crown prince means he has many enemies, and he cannot afford to make more by protecting Azura or associate with Queen Arete.

Leo: Xander is 14, Leo is 6. Finds him in the dead of night reading in the library. They have a chat and Leo reveals that he doesn't wish to take the throne. His mother does but he doesn't care... he just wants a family member that loves him. Also even if he wanted to kill Xander he wouldn't be able to: Xander is too incredible.

Corrin: Xander is 14, Corrin is 6. This is not long after she is abducted. With how anti-social Corrin is acting Xander is expected to get her to open up. So he strives to do that! If she is to be isolated from all by being in the Northern Fortress then he will be sure to protect her from the politics and schemings and harsh reality of Nohrian life.

Elise: Xander is 16, Elise is 3. He is granted the rare opportunity to be around a sibling at such a tender age. The concubine wars are slowly imploding, meaning some left over mistresses are not daring to be so conniving. He will do everything he can to ensure that Elise will never grow up in such a harsh environment, now and when he becomes king.

Femslash Exchange 2024

I wrote five fics for the FE3H Femslash Exchange, all with different ships!

My first fic was for @cynical-gamer-media, a story about Shez's disappointment that Edelgard doesn't trust her after Chapter 9 of Three Hopes. I was honored to write for one of my long time friends!

The second one was a treat for chorbits on AO3, a fluffy Edelgard x Bernadetta fic about them living their lives out post-game! It got me thinking pretty hard about mechanic/househusband Edelgard.

The third was a treat for spacelizbian on AO3, set many years after the game's end, which features all the Black Eagles. Also, everyone's trans.

To continue the Edelgard sauce, I wrote Edelgard x Hapi x Lysithea for @darkholyelf (although I admit I was also inspired by @cynical-gamer-media saying she was really interested in the ship). First time writing Hapi POV was super fun!

Lastly, I wrote some ultra-rarepair Monica x Bernadetta as a little treat for CmdrKing on AO3 featuring Monica and Bernadetta figuring out that they are gay for each other. And Monica pulls out the gayest pickup line ever.

Overall, it was a blast to participate in this event honoring my favorite women. ❤️💜🩷🧡🤎
