I have a headcanon that Lila's mother was also a single mother mostly due to not seeing a father design and only seeing grandma. So its kind of tragic that Lila also ended up a single mother. Something something generational cycles

I’m so glad we finally got a fucking peek at what she looked like!! Though all we know is that she wears yellow and has brown hair, I immediately assumed that she’d be one of those loud, stylish mommy’s! Not only is that fun to draw but we already have a lowk basic calm / collected mom (Lila). Jaune exists buttt two wild moms is better than one :)) !

ANYWHO!! I also just watched a bunch of 2000’s films and felt INSPIRED!!! And I just looked through a shit ton of sammyfendi art and wanted to mimic the style a little…..

6* Caster [Splash]

Trait

> Attacks deal Arts splash damage

Talent 1

> Marcille's skills consume MP and can be activated at any time

> MP does not recover naturally and instead recovers by 1 point every second Marcille is not deployed

> When Marcille has MP, increase ATK and splash area

Skill 1

> Marcille chants for a short duration then activates the skill. Every attack consumes several points of MP. Increase ATK, and change to healing allies if there are no attack targets

> Skill can be manually deactivated

Skill 2

> Marcille chants for several seconds, then consumes several points of MP to create a familiar and uses it to attack. Increase ATK and attacks Slow all targets for a short duration

> On the second use, level up the familiar. Attack Range +1, increase Attack Speed and attacks Stun the main target for a short duration

> Infinite duration, skill can be manually deactivated during the first cast

Skill 3

> Marcille chants for several seconds, then enters an extended chanting state. During this state, chanting can be manually stopped, consuming several points of MP to create an explosion directly ahead, dealing a certain amount of Arts damage to nearby enemies. High tiles hit by this attack will fracture, sending fragments flying that Stuns nearby enemies for several seconds

> When extended chanting is complete, for every additional x points of MP consumed, add 1 additional explosion, until all MP is spent

> Extended chanting can be manually stopped

> Magic Power; Special variant of SP, persists through the current battle

> Stops attacking for a certain duration then attempt to activate a skill. If interrupted during this process, the skill is cancelled

Note that we don’t have numbers, second talent or mod yet!

First, this kit is so unique??? We already have a plethora of operator mechanics in ak but nice to see such an unfamiliar kit!

Now I gotta be honest, I’m only a year into playing and I haven’t built/used a splash caster really at all. (Still need to build poor Mostima 😭) But! Weirdly enough that makes me excited? Interested to see what they do with the archetype 5 years in!

Lastly, some predictions!

- Redeployment talent or mod?

- Skill 2 main skill, Skill 3 burst?

- Skill 1 IS flex skill??

- Actually, She could be incredibly fun in IS AND RA2!
