after paying off all the bills that come out the very first of the month, im back at zero for replacing my phone, which i have to do soon. additionally, my wife and i's share of the phone bill on our new plan is due around the 15th, and while the friend we share a phone plan with doesnt mind if we are a bit late paying, ne works constantly and have nir own expenses, so it would be really shitty of me to expect nem to eat the entire cost of our share to keep service on bc we had to pay nem late. i highly doubt folks will really contribute, as making a smaller short term goal usually makes people feel done with helping and move on, but maybe ppl will feel the pride spirit and decide to put their dollars towards tangibly helping real queer people instead of another nonprofit or god forbid Tumblr or AO3. anyways, thanks again if u read this far for rbing, donating, or whatever u can do to support my little family 🫂💚

hi, im mihai and im going to need some help paying rent this month. my last paycheck all went to paying last month's rent and my next paycheck isn't going to be great after all the spotme and mypay repayments are taken out. i would really like to just use this paycheck to get some more food in my apartment and gas for my car, so right now i'm going to ask for $350 to cover rent this month. please help me and my cat not lose housing

hey moving was incredibly expensive with many unexpected costs that came up. because of that, my wife and i are struggling to afford food and necessities and will not have enough for our rent ($998) and various bills (~$200) either.

i'm disabled and unemployed, and my wife has a minimum wage job dependent on tips. she's also been struggling with debt and overdraft fees since last year, so any paycheck becomes halved or is even completely eaten by that. she estimates she'd need about $500 to even begin fixing the damage that OVER A YEAR of very aggressive fees have done.

it's been so discouraging for her to not get the help she needs, it's been so detrimental to her mental and physical health. i try to ease the burden however i can by paying for groceries and more, but i am scraping by on my dwindling savings, which is dangerous due to the unpredictable health issues i experience.

neither of us will survive becoming homeless. we've been displaced and kicked out of and got chased down for money by every other place we've stayed.

please, for pride month and disability pride month and beyond, consider supporting a disabled easian lesbian and her trans wife, to keep us safe and fed and housed.

Eid Al Fitr, 2025 -- Gaza

As many already know, the past week Muslims around the world celebrated Eid Al-Fitr. And for those in Gaza, Muslim Palestinians were forced celebrate Eid in the midst of a deadly genocide under the risk of bombardment and death.

Among these is a brave Gazan teacher who used what little money she had raised for her own family to make this Eid special for the children in her community. This teacher is Shahd Abumousa's mother @drshahd. In addition to continuing her duties as an educator in her community, she is bringing hope to Gazan children in her community who have experienced unimaginable loss and trauma.

Shahd has been fundraising since early last year to provide for her family, and she has only raised $31,497 out of her goal of $100,000. In last few days, her fundraiser has completely stagnated, raising only $7 in 4 days. Let's not forget the Abumousa family and their contributions to their community. Keep sharing their story and don't forget them during these difficult and horrific times.

this is from the wreck from almost a year ago. the one that nearly took my parents lives and the reason why my mom now has seizures. it was really horrific to get a call saying they'd been in a wreck.
