Today, my bus passed by a van that had "HELP ME" written in the dirt on the back windshield. That's the kind of thing that gets cops to pull you over with concern that you've abducted people. I'm inclined to believe that the owner of the van didn't know because if it were me, I would've erased it immediately for that reason. Also in the world of bus shenanigans, these 5 girls who decided to sit next to me on the bus today and they scream-talked the whole time. They were literally inches from each other and it absolutely wasn't necessary. They hit a pitch that actually hurt my ear drums. It was insane. A bit of a boring day on the bus but more eventful than usual, so enjoy? Haha.

I haven't written a Bus Ride Adventure in a while, so here we go. This one is a doozy. A few weeks ago on the bus, I was sitting next to this couple and they were pretty normal. Then, all of a sudden, one of the girls starts yelling at the other girl. "I don't cARE IF WE'RE ON THE BUS. I WANNA KNOW WHY YOU'RE TALKING TO THIS [inappropriate word redacted]." It's not uncommon for people to talk loudly on the bus so I didn't think much of the volume until she really started yelling and getting in the other girl's face. We'll call them Yelling Girl and Other Girl. Yelling Girl starts flipping out, screaming at Other Girl, "HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TALKING TO THIS [redacted]?! HOW LONG YOU BEEN LYING TO ME?! HUH?! HUH?!" It was obvious that Other Girl was either really embarrassed or really scared, because she wouldn't look Yelling Girl in the face or raise her voice past a quiet speaking voice. She was trying to explain to Yelling Girl that nothing was going on with this guy, but Yelling Girl was not having it. Yelling Girl was convinced that Other Girl was cheating her. It was so nuts. A couple times she pulled her hand back like she was going to hit Other Girl, but she never did. At the end of the bus ride, after the two girls got off, the other riders and I were talking about it and saying how we were worried about Other Girl and how it was clearly an abusive relationship. It was a wild ride.
