BIM driven Carbon Emission Reduction
The RE2020 environmental regulation, foreshadowed by the E+C- experiment, makes it possible to respond to the environmental challenges facing the building sector, namely, among other things, reducing the emission of greenhouse gases, which is currently rising to 23% of the total emissions of the French territory.
To assess the carbon footprint of a structure, it is necessary to carry out a life cycle analysis (LCA), a multi-step and multi-criteria environmental assessment method, from the extraction of raw materials to its processing at the end of life.
For this, two indicators must be calculated :
Ic energy: impact on climate change associated with primary energy consumption
Ic construction: impact on climate change associated with “components” and “site

How BIM company contributes to the Carbon Emission Reduction ?
For the technique part, carbon analysis data can be written into the BIM model by linking with the LCA database in collaboration with the environmental engineer team.
For the decision makers, an online visualization interface has been developed so that shareholders can make timely decision by interact with the interface.

HENRI IV BRIDGE BUILDING, 5200m2 (Paris) - Competition, SD, DD
For the footbridge competition across the Seine in Paris, my role at Echoes.Paris involved designing the dynamic shading device on the façade. 
Recognizing the diverse daylight conditions and complex spatial contexts, I devised a dynamic shading system integrated with PV panels for the entire façade. This approach aims to ensure suitable indoor daylight conditions and picturesque views across various spaces. Additionally, by fully closing the shading device in the evening, the white fabric material doubles as a screen for light projection. The concept is to create a multi-functional space under the bridge. In consideration of daylight, view, energy use, the façade is fully glazed.
