one thing i need people to realize is that politicians, particularly conservative usamerican politicians WILL take things to the farthest/worst extreme. you may be liberal or leftist and think that the porn industry is inherently exploitative or sexist. you may even be anti porn. but in practice, if you vote for anti-porn legislation, they will push the definition of porn as FAR as it can go. obviously anything LGBTQ+, educational resources about safe sex or sexual abuse, etc. but i wouldn't be surprised if they started to push even further (if that legislation were to pass first). nsfw artwork, nsfw written works, suggestive artwork, lgbtq+ artwork, lgbtq+ written works.

if you are anti-porn and considering anti-porn legislation you HAVE to consider the absolute worst case scenario, because that IS what conservative usamerican politicians will push for.
