Which capsule hotel is better?
The main idea of capsule hotels are being able to have an accommodation ideally for a night with the best price possible. What I mean for affordable is less than $100 per night. Examples are the hotels below. Starting with HeyBear Capsule Hotel in Taiwan with only $20-$30 per night, which is very affordable. Secondly, Inbox Capsule Hotel ranging $40-50 including breakfast. Lastly, the Nonze Hostel Pattaya in Thailand ranging from $60-$70 per night.  I think if I were to choose which capsule I would go to I’d choose the capsule hotel in Thailand because the price is very affordable and it includes breakfast amongst the three options. And I could also experience the type of food they will serving whether it’ll be international or homemade breakfast. All three hotels  provides the same product and service so I might as well choose the average price with breakfast than the two.

This capsule hotel in Russia is a 3 star hotel and one of the top capsule hotels in Russia. It is also known for winning awards. This hotel also offers different types of capsule suites. They have the SmartBox (capsules in dorms), MonoBox (private single room) and DoubleBox (private double room). Other than the amenities they provide for their guests what I like about this hotel is that they have special offers for either one guest or a group of people and for long stays. This is the only hotel I found that offers extra affordable accommodation and I think that every hotel accommodations should because it attracts guests that they’re not only for the profit but also they want their costumers to have the experience as well. They also offer discounts and promo codes if you book through online which I think not necessarily needed since the prices are already at a reasonable price.

This capsule hotel in Thailand was the only one I encountered on my research that has multiple type of capsule room. The choices are the regular Capsule Suit, Capsule Suit 2 Unit (Upper and Lower) and a Twin Capsule suit. From what I have been reading most hotel capsules only has one type of room which is the basic capsule suite. Although for all three rooms it will be provided with the same amenities by the hotel which are free wifi, complimentary breakfast, electronic safety box, clothes rack, air conditioned capsule units, laundry service, a 24/7 cctv, private locker and lockable doors. I think the idea of having choices for different kinds of capsule is a good idea because it allows the costumers or the travellers to be able to explore other options as well.

One capsule hotel that caught my interest is the Hey Bear Capsule Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan. I was hooked by the hotel name thats why I looked into their website and found out the type os services they offer and what made it different from the other capsule hotels. Their mostly concern about their costumers having the best night rest possible after a long journey of the travellers by creating a ‘black-bear hibernation sleep”. When you booked into this hotel you will be provided with a pretty descent sized-bed, a TV with movies, reading lights, a security box, a toiletry basket and the most important part is that the capsules has a padlock where you’d feel safer to sleep through the whole night peacefully.

To start off this blog, I’d like to introduce my main topic which is Capsule Hotels. Capsule Hotels originated in Japan and the first one to opened was in 1979 in the city of Osaka, Japan. Capsule Hotels are also known as Pod Hotels in the Western part of the world. The idea of this kind of hotel is for people to be able to afford a basic accommodation where lots of bed-sized rooms known as capsule, but of course there are other upgraded capsule hotels nowadays. This is just the main concept of why it was built.
