sender is found by receiver somewhere they shouldn’t be . (Cora)
Vic walked into the Grill casting a look around, it wasn’t some kind of flashy place which made him believe it wasn’t as terrible as he might have thought at first. It was clearly a local hotspot, crowded as he made his way through, headed for a corner to be out the way and have his back to a wall to ensure no one could sneak up on him. It was in the corner he found his granddaughter with a small group of others and a mixture of drinks spread around them. His eyes settled on the girl and he gave a slight raise of his brow, “Cora.” He wanted her to know that she was caught, it was the only respectable thing. He tried to keep his voice from betraying if he were disappointed or not, with no telling tone to it.

sender and receiver cross paths in the kitchen late at night
Victor found it hard to sleep through the night as it was, ever since the attack on the town he found it even harder. He would sleep for a couple hours at a time and get out of bed to walk the house rather soundlessly for a man his size. Walking around this evening he was surprised to find another in the kitchen and if he was being honest he was annoyed. Kitchen was free space for all, as were most of the pack house but he enjoyed the empty silence of the house with just the sounds of those sleeping snoring or breathing deeply in the night. "What are you doing out here so late?" He had to wonder if there was some kind of tiff and he was expelled from the room with Tara or if their children had taken up the bed and shoved him out.

Sugar cookie - What reminds you of your childhood?
"The smell of some fried fish, it brings me right back. A day of fishing early before the sun even came up with my father and brother followed by a good ol' fish fry ran by my mama. If we didn't catch nothing we had one hell of a sad fry."

DUCKWORTH - Has your muse ever thought about committing or committed a crime?
I am sure that Victor has broken a lot of laws in his time, from stealing a car for a little joy ride, to straight up murder since he is a triggered wolf, (justified murder perhaps but still murder nonetheless). Even laws that weren't you know actual laws like Marcel's laws or what have you. Though given how he looks I'm sure he's talked himself out of a lot of trouble or just glared till the law just walked away.

Beyond being her husband, Victor was so much more. Her hero, her rock, her partner whether they were human or wolf. When she’d returned only to find him gone she’d believed that might be forever, and instead she’d been given another second chance. Leaning up as he kissed her, she held on tightly a moment longer before he smirked at her. Seeing his wolf again was not only one of the best things that had ever happened, but a source of reassurance that she was right - nothing could stop them if they were together. “My beautiful wolf,” she murmured. “Lead on.”
-
Turning was never a pleasant experience so to speak, it did sit somewhere on the verge of it a mixture of pain and something that just felt right. Maybe it was the years he spent as a wolf that conditioned him to feel more at ease in this form. Turning his massive head to look up his wife he pants, tongue flopping out the side of his mouth before she tells him to lead the way. His nails making clacking sounds on the tile of the hospital floor as he makes his way around. Stopping short with a growl as winged man stood in front of them with sharp teeth of his own. Lowering his body and tucking his ears back he snarled some more before darting out at the creature leaping at it with teeth out.

cfsinderella:
The events of the night had left Tara feeling nothing more than spent, her body and uniform adorned in the blood of the monsters and the injured or deceased as she stared in dismay at the aftermath that was left behind. She had long since put a call through to the babysitter making sure she and the kids were okay the moment the phone lines had finally gone through and had since busied herself with ensuring Avery was fine and assisting with those who needed attention when a faint voice broke through her thoughts and she turned, a dazed look upon her features as she gave a shake of her head. “Hmm, oh no, I’m fine,” she mused. “Blood’s not mine, triage is that way if you’re looking for medical attention.”
-
Walking through the crowds of people Victor was only looking for those close to him, he had no cause to be worrying about others when he had his own house to sort out. “Come here Kiddo.” Victor tugged his shellshocked looking daughter close to him, the blood and gore on them both easily ignored by the large wolf as he kept her close hushing her as she kept giving out information like it was programed into her. “Maybe we should find us a seat huh?” She looked like she could use one and he wasn’t too proud to say he sure as hell did being thrown through a wall or two could do that to a man.

kayleighdoyle:
Kayleigh was just creeping around a corner when someone barely avoided making heavy contact with her. “You know,” she muttered, “I used to imagine someone would put me in there sooner or later.” Despite the comment, though, she looked around for the stairs to try and plan her exit. The booming steps shook the floor under her and she sighed softly - of course the thing she’d snuck away from was following them now. “I did, but just a glimpse. Big, and it was just sort of clubbing everything in sight…”
-
Victor stared blankly at the young woman, the joke about mentally ill wasn’t something he was going to chuckle at, there were plenty of moments in time when he could have lost his mind. Some points were living life as a wolf full time did very much make him lose parts of himself that were only healed when he could spend time with his children on the full moon. He lets out a sigh at the mention of it being big, he much rather have a simple fight, rip its throat out and get back to his wife. “Alright.” He wasn’t going to leave it for someone else to worry about as he allowed his claws to grow out and his eyes shine gold there was a crash as a wall was brought down by a large figure burst through half of it body looked human, the other...well he could say it was ugly and it did have large club like claws. “Fuck.” He mutters under his breath, this was going to be a pain in his ass.

The way he could tower over her was only one of many things that Daisy had fallen in love with. Her giant was so gentle and calm with her, at least when she sought that, but when he went to war he was as fearsome a beast as had walked the Earth. “Not ever again, my love. The devil himself couldn’t pull me from your side, so these things don’t stand a chance.” Daisy leaned into his touch with a smile, nodding. “Together,” she agreed. His comment about changes brought a curious glance, but she planned to let him show rather than tell as they began their march toward combat. “I love you,” she breathed, needing those words in the air.
-
Nothing could mend the wound of Victor’s heart having lost his wife, it was his one job. To keep his wife and children alive and he couldn’t seem to handle that; the curse that kept them from their children was one thing. Daisy hit him hard and perhaps because of it he was half the man he was meant to be but that was something of the past. She was right, it would take the devil himself to keep Vic from her and she from him. Hearing her words he offers her a smirk, “I would hope so, you’re stuck with me.” Taking her chin into his hand he tilts her face up planting a kiss to her lips before taking a step back and tearing the blood stained shirt away as the bones in his body cracked and creaked, reshaping and forming as he fell to his knees. Skin fading away to the thick tuffs of light fur, nails growing out to claws.

It was a miracle beyond measure that he’d come home to her, that their mutual passings in the night had finally led them to the same destination, and Daisy intended to be sure they’d live every moment they had. “Always yours,” she promised, fingers carding gently through his hair where he knelt. “I’m willing to call us even if you are,” she promised with a smile as he stood, tilting her head at his insistence that she hide. “My love, surely I haven’t been gone from your side so long that you think I’d run. We fight together. We run together. My warrior wolf.”
-
There was a time when Victor was the one who brought Daisy back from the brink and now years later she returned the favor in kind. Still the wildness of the beast within, if gone unchecked he wondered how animal he could become. “I think its the only fair thing to do.” He agrees with a soft smile getting to his feet, he towered over by a clear foot but that didn’t lead him to believe her incapable. “I’ve lost you once, I can’t see that happen again.” He’d go down before he ever saw her lose her life again. He sighs placing a hand on her cheek, “Together then, if we go down, we go together. You might notice some changes.” Grabbing her hand he starts them down the hall.

Victor was running around the hospital trying to round up anyone that was still hidden away and isolated from others, asking Daisy to stay near the door to let people in, he could cover more ground alone and didn’t plan on being out for long. Nearly knocking right into another body moving through the hall as he did, “You should get up to the third floor, they’re locking people into the Psych ward level to keep safe.” So far it had been the most secure part of the hospital and with monsters stalking around it was dangerous to wander alone. Stopping in his tracks Vic frowns as he catches a scent he didn’t recognize, the floor under them thumping as if something large was coming. “Kid, did you see anything down this way?” He asks pointing towards the cafeteria.

The parade of nightmare creatures seemed to be virtually endless, and Daisy was already a mess of splattered blood and god alone knew what else as she tried to clear the hallways and herd humans into locked rooms for their own safety. The gun she’d gotten from Gabe had clicked empty a few minutes earlier, but the hospital provided no shortage of weapons and the bone saw someone had found in the morgue was doing a lot of the work for her.
She had no notion of anything behind her, still focused on the people she was herding, until the sounds of a struggle made her turn. Victor was every bit as powerful as anything they might see in the hospital, and as he killed the creature with brutal force she waved the others on ahead and lingered to stay with her husband.
“Victor, love,” she murmured, crouching to run a hand through blood-matted hair. “It’s all right. I’m alright.” Daisy looked into his eyes without a hint of fear, knowing that the man looking back at her from those yellow irises would never hurt her, not even in the midst of what was happening. “Thank you for saving me - again. I don’t even remember what the tally was, but I know I’m still in your debt.”
-
Victor’s hands had unleashed the throat of the monster under him and reached out for his wife pulling her small frame to him as he pressed the side of his face to her abdomen. Holding her close but not allowing himself to do so too tightly that he could harm her. “My sun Daisy.” He lets out a content sigh glad to know she was safe from harm and once again in his arms. “We have no debts between the two of us and if we did I owe you far more than you can owe me.” Pulling himself out of his focus of his wife he stands grabbing her hands, “You need to get somewhere safe.”

Victor never liked hospitals, they were too clean, too sterile, the scent of cleaners they used tend to burn the inside of nose in such a way it offended him to stay within them for too long. However by now this hospital looked more like a warzone than a hospital and he could think how it was such a shame that he liked it more now than when it was calmer and threat free. Maybe that said more about himself and his growing up than anything else but with the scents flooding the building he caught one that he made a b-line towards. Eye burning and claws racking into anything that got in his way, wetness splashed his face and he could only assume it was the blood of the creatures that were swarming in. Catching a glimpse of his wife across the crowded chaos the wolf went into a rage as he saw some green skinned creature coming up behind her with its own claws at the ready. The large wolf barreling his way through people jumped on the back of the other with a growl digging his claws into the creature as it struggled to roll over to defend itself. Large hands wrapping around its throat Victor a usually gentle mannered man squeezed till he heard a sickening pop.
Once the struggle coming from under him stopped the wolf released the things throat and let out a breath, looking up at his wife in search of some of his humanity. He spent so long a wolf he wondered if he picked up too much of their nature and then by the time the curse was broken he had lost one of his biggest ties to his humanity in Daisy.

feistyxdreamers:
open starter | mystic falls hospital | @mysticofthefallenstarter
Avery had heard the commotion outside, screaming, running and yet she was still stuck in bed. She had felt her senses heighten, assuming that she was no longer just human. Yet she still felt a searing pain every time she moved. She could hear the screams growing closer and watched as people starting running past her door. “Hey! Could I get some help in here?” she called out as each passerby ran past. Heaving a sigh and bracing herself, she began ripping the sensors off of her body and head, pulling the IV out of her arm and pushed herself out of bed, groaning in pain with each move.
Each step she took sent searing pain through her head and abdomen, but she would be damned if she lost to whatever thing these people were running from because she was stuck in a hospital bed. After what felt like 5 minutes, she had only made it to the door. Leaning against the frame, doubled over in pain, the tears began to fall. “Why the fuck am I not healing?” she asked herself as she tried to prepare herself for the journey down the hall.
-
Victor was trying to find his family in the mist of all the trouble, though he couldn’t very well ignore the chaos that seemed to be going on at the hospital. With his wolf nature back he was in part glad for the enhanced abilities from the wedding of his nephew years ago. As he charged in with claws out and his eyes burning amber, clawing and attacking anything that seemed dangerous to the others within the building. When he heard yelling of help he followed it, catching the scent of family. Finding the young woman leaning against the frame of her door he frowns at her trying to place her, if he pictured her with fuller cheeks and missing teeth with two long braids he could see his granddaughter. “We need to get you somewhere safer, can you walk?” With a loud screen and the roar of fire emitted on the other end of the hall Vic hadn’t bothered to wait for an answer before he picked the girl up sweeping her legs from under her and catching her back with his other arm carrying her like a stack of pillows.

“You know as nice as a swim sounds,” the male mused, halting himself at the end of the dock, hands shoved into the pocket’s of his dress pants, white button down still tucked in as it always was. “I’ve got to pick up the kids from school in like 10 minutes.”
-
Taking in the sight of one of his daughters’ significate others Victor walked to the edge of the water a bit taken back, “Christ, Tanner no welcome back? Wait ‘kids’ you said?” The last time he had seen his daughter Maya and Tanner they were playing house together and he was taking up the mantle of raising Cora, an act that Victor was glad to see. “You telling me my daughter and grandkids are here?”

There a few things about being back and human that brought a great disappointment to the older wolf, one was that he wasn’t home. He was born and bred in the bayou and being anywhere else just seemed wrong to him but at the same time he had to think that it was that city that brought his family such shit luck. The pack stayed there cause that’s where they had always been and giving up and moving somewhere else just felt weak. One thing was for sure, it didn’t matter where you put a country boy, when they saw a rope hanging over a lake they were gonna swing from it. Stripping off his shirt and his jeans that was just what Victor did, grabbing the thick old rope and jumping from the high boulder swinging over the lake before he released and dove right in.
Coming to the surface he found another up on the shore by his clothes, “Listen you can join, you can sunbath or just keep walking. If you take my clothes I have to say I ain’t ashamed to walk home as is, find ya and repay the sentiment.”

joe mangeniello? no, that’s just victor beau kenner you know, the 45 year old werewolf. who’s been known to be intelligent but stoic. they’ve also been called the rook for those exact reasons. i heard that they were one of the fallen that was brought back; but who knows how long that will last once everyone finds out that he was killed by esther’s witches when they tried to recruit him and other crescents. now wants to make political moves that will free the crescent pack from being obligated to the mikaelson family as he feels they are responsible for his death along with his loyalty to his nephew and hayley.
Victor was born the younger brother within the Kenner household, the Kenners who backed the Dumas line for as long as Victor could trace back. When his older brother ended up marrying the alpha’s daughter, it was politics as was most marriages among higher ranking wolves in packs. Victor wasn’t a man who put himself in the middle of politics, he wanted to live his life to the best he could. When he was a teenager he spent his time with friends, he enjoyed New Orleans, fishing in the bayou. He was a sweet natured and fun spirited young man, who joked around and enjoyed simple life. It was then that he started sort of seeing another girl from within the pack, there was no political advantage to the coupling and in all honesty they weren’t really a couple just two kids enjoying spending time together.
The real trouble was behind the scenes of the young wolf’s life, his family was more and more involved in the Dumas power struggle against the Labonairs, growing up around Daniel Labonair, Victor never had a personal problem with the other, He at times was a bit more serious than Victor thought was needed but at the same time Vic had no reason to be serious at the time, he was young, he wasn’t in line to be leading much of anything and certainly had no desire to. The rumor spreading around the pack was that the Labonair alpha was looking to make some kind of peace with the vampire leader of the city and having no real love for vampires himself Victor could only wonder why. After the death of his older brother and his wife, leaving behind the young nephew that Richard and Mary insisted on taking on but the young wolf was in no position to question the loyalty that his family had with the Dumas side and he certainly wasn’t involved enough to have an opinion. At least till that loyalty died the same night the Labonair alphas were found murdered in their home.
With the deaths of the alphas of the Labonair and the cursing of his pack Victor’s full attention was placed into one thing, one person, Daisy. Well he supposed it quickly became three people when they found out Daisy was pregnant with twins. Watching his pregnant girl from afar as she struggled alone with the threat of vampire attacks to the wolves happening left and right. He spent his night howling for the woman and after she gave birth and was placed under the curse same as he they both howled for the babies till the full moon allowed them to hold them once more. Two years of this and one full moon the two finally married not willing to let a curse keep them from that, nor from them having two more wonderful children after that.
For nineteen years of the kids life their parents were only able to properly interact with them once a month on the full moon when they were able to be in human form. It was one evening that he and Daisy had been separated running the woods in their wolf forms caught in a trap laid by hunters. Knowing his wife died at the hands of others and he was no where around to aid her broke the man a little inside. His once kind, smiling personality had dwindled, he was human now but his wife never got to experience the curse-free life with their children like he would. He grew colder to the outside world smiling rarely and mostly only for his children as they went without any parents for long enough.
He had expected that maybe things were turning around when Hayley Marshall showed up and ended up being the lost Labonair child that his nephew was meant to marry when they both came to age. Though the hiccup with that was the girl showing up pregnant with another man’s child and not any man but the Original Hybrid himself. Even then the pack could only think that she joining the ranks would only bring them better days, after all she was the reason the curse was broken.
However the good was short lived, the advancements that Hayley and Jackson tried to make for the pack came at a price and getting in the middle of a war was one thing, being strong armed by the Mikaelson family was another. If it wasn’t fighting with the vampires, in fighting among wolves, it was having to deal with Esther Mikaelson taking over the New Orleans witches and forcing pack members to join them, at first it was offers, pretty words and then it became violence. Victor unwilling to break his loyalty was murdered by Finn Mikaelson while in the body of Vincent.
Now that he is back Victor doesn’t want to relive the same fate, siding with Mikaelson family only borught more trouble to the pack that they couldn’t afford. With little payout in the end as he knows that they would help Mikaelsons over the pack in a heart beat so why would or even should the pack offer their lives? With the Labonair alphas back he wants them to take their place again, sensing some hesitation from his nephew and still no word about his brother Victor is willing to put himself up as a member of one of the oldest families that followed the Dumas line. It isn’t power Victory is after, its stability for his family.

littlexwitchxhaven:
haven was sometimes just curious about everything in the town. there was something about mystic falls that just felt….off. but she had no idea what it was. she wandered around, hands in her pockets as she felt somewhat drawn to the school, wondering why that was. she blushed a little when she found someone to witness her wandering. she waved slightly back. “oh well that’s disappointing,” she chuckled. “i always like a little bit of car trouble. but then i just like fixing cars.”
-
Jordan forced himself to crack a smile, her red hair only making him feel a bit of guilt in the pit of his stomach, “Well sorry to disappoint.” He remarks looking to his car, there was nothing wrong with the damn thing, the trunk has stored some herbs and other things that he could use for on the fly spells and then of course some of his hunting gear, cleaned, oiled and ready to go. “Disappointment times two then, I’m a bit of a snot about who I let touch my car.” Which limited to himself or his siblings, rarely his siblings. “You a student?” He asks nodding towards the school.
