discarded in the dark woods

running

searching

with only the scent of death leading

upon this isolated quiet horizon

the soul stirs

screaming in agony

haunted by

the cruel yesterdays

which stole a sudden

glimpse of hope

dandelion wishes

evaporate into the wind

carrying a pocket of secrets

which were whispered

as the sun was beaming

the dark clouds soon covered

the smiled rays

confession of sin

travelled from the heart

confessions which will forever

be lost in translation

as to never fall from lips

but grow silently within

a decaying bacteria

causing weary limbs

to fall in a dire surrender

heart in hands

dark blood dripping,

through finger tips

uprising only to tumble

wanting desperately to find the light

and comforting doves

mud on face

continuing to fall

in horrid disgrace

salty tears escape

pleading for peace

as trembling thoughts

roar,

and visible scars dance

never to decease

all closing in

forever

to be one

with the dark earth
