Soldier 1028 bird watching, stationed at an anti air base.
Assignment: character design Key Art
Description: getting a “cinematic” angle and dimensions has been what I’ve been trying to achieve throughout class and I’m confident that this is one of my better examples. I wanted to convey the militaristic service and the “soldier ant” like nature of the Demons. So while having multiple characters in the piece I only had the main character the only one with a full face in view, along with them being in the center of the landscape.

The Battle of Fortress One. My “change in environment” I wanted to do more with the giant cannon that became the main focus of my previous assignment. After targeting that I wanted to change the function of the transit station of its other purpose, for wartime, depicting one of the first battles in my worldbuilding.

Assignment 7: Environment Design. This was my attempt to further flesh out my transit station/ military base for my world-building. I took this opportunity to also get better at greyscaling, gradient mapping, and most importantly photo bashing. I have a long way to go but I’m still satisfied with my first attempt here.

The results of my bracelet customization project for assignment “Making Many from Few” I like to think you can look at these as both bracelets and rings at the same time.

My first OC, Aislin Kils Kane. First design was from fifth grade but the first drawing here is from 2020. The story has her change her attire at the halfway point to a suit, second drawing made around 2023. Second “ref sheets” are what I made for this assignment, 2025.

The Loom is more of my worldbuilding, incorporating both organic and mechanical inspirations to conceptualize how the Demons in my world manufacture their clothes that can withstand their pyromancy. I really like the idea but I do feel like there were some ways I could’ve made it more spider like, but I didnt want to make it look like a spider was being trapped and used for its silk against its will so I took the essence of a spider, it’s bulbous body and eight legs, and incorporated it into this loom blast furnace like machine.
